We recently completed a full flooring renovation in our two-story home -- tile demo, carpet…read moreremoval, and new laminate installation throughout -- and I cannot say enough good things about this company. From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and incredibly patient. After the flooring was delivered, I realized it wasn't the right choice for the space. I was honestly nervous to speak up, but they immediately reassured me and didn't make me feel rushed or difficult at all. Instead, they encouraged me to take my time. I spent a full week reviewing additional samples in my home until I found the perfect one, and they supported me through that entire process with total grace. What really stood out is that they went a step further -- they actually reached out to past clients here in Brentwood who had similar flooring and scheduled times for me to go into their homes and see the floors in real life. That level of trust and relationship with their clients speaks volumes. The demo was handled efficiently and cleanly, and they coordinated seamlessly with other projects happening in the home (painting, cabinet work, furniture timing). The installation itself is beautiful -- They also went above and beyond in ways that weren't even part of their scope. After demo, they fixed a squeak in our stairs -- something they didn't have to do, but took care of anyway. It's those little things that show the kind of team they are. Every day, they left the job site -- my home -- clean and organized. The owners were incredible, and the entire team truly shines in their individual roles. You can tell they take pride in their work and in the experience they provide. This was a big project, and they handled every step with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. The end result completely transformed our home. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

I started my research a few months prior to getting my keys to the new construction home. I couldn't even see my stairs with the hardwood completed. All I had were the hardwood samples as reference. Amanda is truly a white glove service. While other floor companies were more concerned of measurements and just providing me a price of what the work would cost, Amanda had a full picture approach. She has the best communication even over txt. I'm a mom of 2 under 6 yr old and it's quite difficult for me to pick up the phone so txting is by far my communication of choice. Her goal was to ensure I would love the product even if I was just purchasing material from her. I went to her sample store to check out her products and she helped me find a few samples that could be a potential fit and I'm thrilled that we found the absolute perfect product! Her store has hardwood, lvp, laminate and carpet to choose from. I ordered lvp, carpet and carpet padding from her. Fairly fast shipping. She ensured smooth pick up from her warehouse. All their products really elevated my home and the hardwood to lvp-SEAMLESS!!! I would highly recommend Latta floors with your needs especially if you're a burnt out mom with kids.

We booked the service 5 months in advance and they showed up on the exact day to start. We ran into some problems with our foundation and leveling which they were able to fix which only added one more day to the work schedule. The crew is such a great group of guys. They do high quality work and have fun in the process. Entertained us with their banter and giggling. Highly recommend Santos! They also took care of a finishing and trim project we needed done. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The crew was extremely prompt every single day--arriving right on time and getting straight to work. They were very respectful of our home, cleaning up thoroughly at the end of each day so the space never felt messy or overwhelming. The project took about a week to complete, exactly as promised. The craftsmanship is outstanding--the attention to detail around edges, transitions, and finish work shows how much pride they take in what they do. The final result is absolutely beautiful, and we are completely in love with our new hardwood floors. I highly recommend Duran flooring to anyone looking for flooring or general contracting work. We hired Greg and his team to refinish our red oak floors and replace our baseboards. The service…read morethey provide from start to finish is top notch. Here is a recap of the process/our experience: 1. Greg came out to give an estimate. He was upfront and transparent (we have red oak floors) about staining the floors and how red oak takes the stain. Set our expectations for the process. 2. Scheduled a date with Greg. He stuck to the date and the timeline exactly as stated. 3. Greg came out before the project to test out some stains for me. He was patient and flexible during this process. Very helpful and knowledgeable. 4. The team started by covering doorways and shutters and getting the space ready to ensure the least amount of mess/dust as possible. 5. Greg communicated the time the team would be there and they were there at that time each morning. 6. He kept us updated throughout the process. 7. The floors were finished on time and they did a walk through at the end. My husband is quite the perfectionist (one who would rather do it himself and have it be done right than hire out the work for fear it wouldn't be done the right way) and he was thoroughly impressed with the work done. All the cuts for the baseboards were done nicely, everything is level, the stain looks amazing. If my husband could not find anything to critique about their work, look no further and hire them now. You will be thoroughly impressed with this company. Thank you Greg and team for our lovely new floors!!

Unfortunately, after only six months, the flooring in our kitchen began peeling, bowing, and separating. Before long, the same issues started appearing throughout the house. We contacted Abbey Carpet, and multiple representatives came out to inspect the flooring. They confirmed there was no water damage and appeared to recognize that the installation had not been done correctly. I spoke with the manager, Gary, several times. During those conversations, he acknowledged that the installer (who I was told had since passed away) had installed the flooring without a vapor barrier at the previous homeowner's direction to save cost. However, the flooring manufacturer clearly states on the packaging that a vapor barrier is required and that the flooring should not be installed without it. He verbally attempted to me that they had installed it incorrectly. Despite acknowledging the issue, the only resolution offered was approximately 50 square feet of replacement flooring, with no labor included. That amount wouldn't even cover a single bedroom, let alone address the damage throughout the house. For months, I tried to work with the company, making phone calls and pleading for a fair resolution. Eventually, I sent a formal demand letter, but I never received a response. To make matters worse, I learned the company did not have the required CSLB bond coverage in place at the time of installation, leaving us with virtually no recourse. We are now facing approximately $16,000 in losses because the flooring was installed improperly. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. We have small children, and the damaged flooring has created raised edges and separated planks that have caused them to trip and get hurt. I expected a company to stand behind its work, especially after acknowledging what went wrong. Instead, we are left to bear the full cost of correcting a preventable installation error. It's been 5 years and are still dealing with this. It's very disappointing. If I could give zero stars I would have to. That's how heartbreaking this has been for our family. To pay for our floors to be done again is a huge financial burden.
