DELISH!! People, you must try this pizza. This is a small joint tucked into a little building off of Hoffner and Orange behind 7-11. The pizza is fantastic! The crust is wonderful and the ingredients fresh. This is our new go to place for pizza. It's a small place so best for take out or delivery, there is some limited seating though. Also, the salads are wonderful! I've tried the antipasto salad and the spinach bacon salad. So good! The ingredients, like the pizza, are fresh and tasty. Most people who are residents of this area or at least Orlando know that good, authentic pizza is hard to find. That being said Stone fire is one of the best in South Orlando. They're small and local so some of these bad reviews are cranky people not getting their way. It's a good place with great food. I have been on the hunt for the perfect pizza joint in my new neighborhood, and this is it! This place is newly expanded--including a bathroom that belongs in a swanky Park Ave. restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parm sub, while I stuck to my favorite, a mushroom and pepperoni pizza. The sauce, cheese, crust and toppings were perfect! We were hungry but too tired to leave our hotel so we called Stone Fired Pizza. The hotel we were at does not allow room delivery but thankfully they allow lobby delivery which works for me. In a sea of mediocre pizza, Stone Fire naturally surpasses them all. This is a staple in belle isle and a once a week (maybe twice) order in our household. It is no surprise that this pizza Is shown much love before being tossed into its maker aka the fire. At one time, this pizza was really good. We liked the Works. Ordered, picked up and enjoyed several. Then they had the fire. The place was closed for months and months. I had an appointment downtown, and decided to order and pick up a small Works on the way home to Lake Nona. I guess it's my bad that I didn't check the order until I arrived home. What I was given - the plainest cheese pizza - with Zero toppings. I had literally discussed the toppings with the person I spoke to on the phone, and yet, somehow ended up with the opposite. When I called - they said they would make the correct pizza - if I drove back from Lake Nona to pick it up. Or, I could get a credit to use the next time I placed an order. So, now, this 10" pizza is costing me a fortune. This "solution" to their error presumes that my time, gas, wear & tear on my car, are all worthless. Bottom line. In the past, the pizza itself was good. It is up to you, as the customer to double check their orders, and correct any mistakes they make. Could be a very expensive pizza. Boo. read more

Good job revamping the building. Unless and until you do the same with your food.....you're still not going to be a local favorite. There are soooo many of us families close enough by wishing for a great pizza place and you still don't qualify. You are doing much like domino's has done: wearing blinders and blaming poor business results on everything except your food and the food is what you need to change and improve upon. Also, your building improvements have not made it any coziers to eat there. You have a very ripe garbage hugging the drink counter which instantly takes the appetite away. Tables and chairs are often greasy around the rim. Salad is often if not always, limp and lousy. Pizza is extremely burnt and a shrug of the shoulders is your extent of caring about the customer being satisfied. "That's how we do it." Really? How about you visit my restaurant and I prepare your steak with such disregard, or your eggs....how about that service for you. Worry more about improving the food you put out and less on the real estate. That will put more coin in your pocket. read more

Hell yeah!!!!....i dont eat this kind of food often but i do enjoy it once in awhile...ive been in orlando for 16 months since moving from michigan and havent found a really good pizza/pasta place other than giordonos chicago style...i ordered the chicken alfredo and pepperoni calzone to go. I almost ate it all which is saying alot because it was enough for 2 people. It was fantastic and i highly recommend it and can whole heartedly say its the BEST PIZZA AND PASTA joint in orlando. My wife and I just returned from a cruise, and we have one night in Orlando before we return home. She didn't want pizza, because she is "pizza'd out" from all the late night pizza on the cruise. I talked her into going for a sub, and I ordered pepperoni rolls, and a calzone for myself. She tried one bite of the rolls, and decided that I needed to share the deliciousness. I'm not exaggerating, the pepperoni rolls were the most delicious thing to pass my lips in recent memory, that is until I tasted the calzone. My wife's sub was delicious, but the calzone was spectacular! When I became satiated I felt regret, because there was more to eat. The delivery man was courteous, and he arrived 15 minutes earlier than the ETA I was given when I ordered the food. It was too hot to eat when we opened the food up! I only give 4 stars because they only have 2 tables but plans are underway to expand to a lot more tables. They are expanding to the store next door. As for the food it was fabulous. I had Penne Rustica . The sauce was very good and sausage was delicious. Husband ordered pizza with thin crust ,roasted red peppers , green peppers , mushrooms, and sausage. It was the best I have had in years. They seem to do more take out but after expansion I think we will eat in a lot more. No beer or wine though. Best pizza and chicken parm sub I've had since I've moved to Florida from NY.... been here more than 5x and it's always on point.

Great experience! Everything was very good; the young lady at the front was kind and helpful with a great demeanor and smile. We read reviews that we had to try the pepperoni rolls and we were not disappointed!!! They are not like any other pizza rolls we have ever had before; no skimping on the cheese and the pepperoni was delightfully crispy. I had a pizza, toppings were all good, the ricotta was excellent (I am very picky about my ricotta). My husband had a calzone and he was also not disappointed, the crust/dough is delicious and wonderfully chewy. The marinara was very good, I would get extra of this next time, my husband used the pepperoni rolls as big spoons for it. Really the only reason it's 4 not 5 stars is that no one ingredient blew us away; everything was very good and seemed to work together so it made it all work well. This is a must go again! Best pizza I've ever had. Watched as someone twirled the pizza crust and saw the pizza oven-- circular and awesome. The pizza had the perfect ratio of crispy chewy crust, sauce, and toppings. Got a large The Works pizza. Wish I lived in Orlando so I could come back here again andvagain. Only downfall, No liquor or wine yet...owner said we could go next door and bring it in. Decided to stick with soda. The outside of the building looks very drab and unremarkable but the inside us very nice and new. I used the bathroom and it was nice and ckean. I've had their pizza twice now. Once at the restaurant and the other delivered. At the location, the crust was a bit burnt. Service was great though. The owner is super friendly and even gave me a papaya off of his tree. They have huge slices for a great price and they're super delicious (any topping you want!) Great food and great service. We arrived about 30 mins before closing and we were able to order a large pie with ribeye steak,peperoni and bacon. This pie was awesome.
