I went in to get a woven star tattooed on my leg. I was specific in mentioning that I only wanted the star. No circle. When Cassie finished, she had decided against my wishes to include the circle around it. Later when the line work needed touching up I went in and all she did was pack black in all over the tattoo. In no way did I get what I asked for. Now I more or less have a solid black circle on the lower half of my calf. I have been to a number of artists to see if the area can be salvaged with a cover up with some kind of outer space theme as I absolutely love astronomy. All have told me that a coverup of that magnitude is a hell of an undertaking that they weren't sure they could pull off. Needless to say, I won't be going back to Stone Crow again. read more

Went to Stone Crow studio 12/15 to setup an appointment and discuss what I wanted. Jon was very respective to my idea/ design and only had to wait four days for an appointment. Stone Crow Studio accompanied my work schedule, I asked for later in the evening. Jon was friendly and professional. Cassie helped keep me entertained while Jon concentrated on my tattoo. This was my first experience with SCS and it was a great experience. Tattoo took hour and 20 minutes start to finish. Price was comparable or less to any tattoo shop here in Columbia. Cassie is SO INCREDIBLY TALENTED. I made my appointment back in May to add on to a piece I already had. I emailed pictures of my current tattoo, and what I was wanting. She NAILED IT. Day of she showed she me her stencils, and accommodated to my request of adding on a third peony. She is so gentle, and told me when she was moving to a new area (Incase it was tender). Amazing line work and shading. We chatted the entire time about her kids and background. She is so kind, gentle and talented. Check out the photos for proof. Extreme lack of communication and professionalism. Had appointment for two months and when showed up in person to check design they were closed without notice. When called several time never answered and voice mail full. As for email never got a reply. When I finally did was very unprofessional. Jon and Cassie are the best you can find in town for a few reasons. First they are both really gifted artists. Jon has done two large pieces for me and they are amazing. I took my teenage daughter to get several piercings done, her first purchase from her summer job. Brantley is the resident piercer. I'm very familiar with stone crow and have had several tattoos so I brought my daughter there because in trust their cleaning/ hygiene practices. I found Brantley to be extremely knowledgeable and professional while also being cool and easy going. He made us feel very comfortable and made sure he fully educated us on the piercings and how the needed aftercare. He was very considerate that he was piercing a minor and took his time in order to make sure my daughter was fully prepared before each piercing and at ease. My daughter had previously had her helix's pierced a year ago from a place at the lake but she ended up taking them out because they never fully healed. With Brantley, right from the start she noticed a complete difference from her first piercings. No pain this time afterward and they are healing up nicely. read more

Completely dissatisfied. Came in the first time, and the man was with a customer, he asked me what I wanted, and I described it for him. He told me to come back before Friday and he would have something sketched out for me, so I did. When I came back (before Friday). He was not there, rather other employees. They had no clue about the tattoo I was supposed to have sketched out already, so they had me write down my information again, and said they would have the man I spoke with earlier send me the sketch. I waited about a week, no sketch came and at that point I started getting a bit annoyed. Tired of waiting, I came back to check up on my sketch MID DAY ON A MONDAY when they're SUPPOSED to be open and their doors were LOCKED. That is completely unprofessional to be closed WITHOUT A NOTE posted mid day when you're supposed to be open. At that point, I was done with them and their terrible service, and went to Iron Tiger instead, they did an amazing job, and all I had to do was walk in! I highly recommend them! read more

i went to stone crow for the first time in january 2016. they had a deal going where you get the whole day for $500. to me that was a hell of a deal. i sat for 9.5 hours letting them tattoo me. when i looked at the ink i had gotten after they finished, i was blown away. the tattoos were amazing. perfect shading, perfect line work, just perfect. i again went to them in july 2016. the same thing. perfection. and the service there is just as amazing. they are friendly, helpful, and just all around amazing people. i highly recommend stone crow to everyone. you wont be disappointed. read more
