I'm convinced that Brenda Geraci is the best real estate agent in Covina! We were somewhat in a…read morebind. My mother's health was ailing, and we needed to get her into an assisted living home ASAP. To do so, we needed to sell her house. It was November (with December rapidly approaching), and time was of the essence. I researched the top agents in the Covina area. Narrowed it down to the top 3 and interviewed the top two over the course of two days. We chose Brenda based on her professionalism, warm demeanor, and market knowledge. We hired Brenda on a Monday, she had the photographer at my mom's house on Tuesday, listed her house on Wednesday, and we received our first offer on Friday. We allowed realtors/potential buyers to view her house over the weekend and accepted an offer on Monday. The craziest part about it was that Brenda's daughter was getting married that same Saturday we allowed agents/buyers in. She didn't skip a beat. It was miraculous! This was the first time I've ever sold a home, so I was very nervous. Though she had her own distractions in life, she didn't break stride. Brenda held my hand throughout the entire process and ensured my mom was taken care of as well (giving us referrals for movers, cleaners, etc.). If you're like me, over-researching realtors, STOP. Save yourself the time and go with Brenda!

If I could give minus one star, I would…read more I speak with many real estate agents because I'm an active buyer and real estate investor, and I was also previously a licensed real estate agent myself. Unfortunately, my phone conversation with David Gushue regarding the listing at 2534 Bungalow Pl, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625 was one of the most uncomfortable interactions I've ever had with an agent. I called because I was genuinely interested in the property as a potential buyer. From the beginning, his tone came across as rude, condescending, and unnecessarily confrontational. He questioned me with comments such as, "Who are you?" and asked what the last property I purchased was. When I mentioned that my most recent purchase was in Florida, he laughed in a way that I found extremely condescending. My daughter was sitting next to me and heard the entire conversation. Even she was shocked by the way I was being spoken to. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this interaction was bad enough that I felt prospective buyers and sellers should know about my experience. Based solely on my personal interaction with him, I would not recommend this agent. The attitude and ego were completely unnecessary. A note to sellers: Please do your homework before choosing who represents your home. Your listing agent is often a buyer's first impression of your property. The way an agent communicates can attract a serious, qualified buyer--or drive one away before they even see the home. As a serious buyer and investor who called specifically about 2534 Bungalow Pl, this interaction was enough to make me lose interest in pursuing the property through him. Sellers deserve an agent who welcomes and encourages qualified buyers rather than potentially pushing them away.
