Came here & had a flight of beers ($9). Fairly good variety of beers to try & also a good sized dining menu. There is a cozy indoor bar area alongside a retail shop selling Stone Corral & other merchandise. Outdoors is a gravel patio with umbrellas plus a narrow porch. Service was good.

My husband and I visited Stone Corral last Thursday afternoon (10/15) with some friends and had a great time. They allow you to pick 4 beers for a customized flight. We had the Strawberry Rhubab Gose, Blueberry Bramble Sour (my favorite - just the right amount of sweet and sour), Big Jake Belgian ale, and the Bad Rooster IPA. All four were good. My husband also tried the Oktoberfest which was deliciously seasonal. COVID: All staff are wearing masks and wiping down tables after each use. The outdoor picnic table setup was great - well spaced out and each table easily had room for 6 adults. They recently introduced QR Codes ti access the menus which was a nice touch.

WOW! I have never been so satisfied while also wanting to stay and order everything else on the menu. Table started with the buffalo boo yah nachos.. drool alert, so spicy and hot and delish. I got the icky sticky chicky tacos and lemme tell you, those boys were down the hatch in two minutes flat, didn't even give myself time to breathe in between. My companions had the baby kale caesar, very munch and crunchy, the ole reliable burrito (a bite or two reminded me of warm chili on a cold winter day), and the stone corral burger which tasted like a memory. Love the cowboy/western vibe reminds me of my home on the range. Photos of all the munchers and munches below!

Pretzel Bites - $10 Depicted Swimming una Pool of Grease

Food Comes out Fast...on Plastic Plates! Food was shockingly overpriced and very low value, even for a bar. Drinks were just ok. The shrimp tacos were especially sweet and came in stale tortillas. Pretzel bites came in a pool of grease, salsa and chips were obviously store bought. Feels like someone in the kitchen needs to take the latest Gordon Ramsey MasterClass - or just learn what the word "quality" means. It's just loud enough to manage a conversation with a couple people. Overhead lighting is abrupt and at points changes from LEDs to energy efficient halogen bulbs with mismatched Kelvin temperatures. This is what happens when restaurants that shouldn't have survived Covid-19 continue on. Unfortunate and low quality output.

A great family lunch today! My husband and I each got a flight, and our son with a Maine Root Beer. All of the beers were delicious, it was our first time (aside from Bramble we have never had their beers until today!!) and we very much enjoyed! We all took turns picking at each other's plates, and everything was delicious. Staff is attentive, pleasant, helpful with suggestions and their COVID precautions are taken seriously. Will definitely be returning

Stopped on our way through, nice place , nice outdoor seat, but it is next to the road, they also have bike parking. They don't have traditional soda options but they did have Mexican cola that was different. My husband had a flight and enjoyed it, the nachos were huge so I'm glad we shared them!!

Not bad food. Not amazing food, but a good little restaurant. The sweet potato fries are good, so are the kale salads.

Great spot w/good brew. Space-ish, good beer, nachos, and sandwiches (and good sizes as well).

When I first went here, years ago, I felt as if it was basically a giftshop. Sample a beer, move…read moreover to the register, and buy your beer to go. But my last visit was a lot different. There are now areas to be able to drink onsite. They have a bunch of seating, high and low, and they also have a stage for musicians. I am glad it is now a spot to be able to sit down and have a beer, instead of being just a spot to pick up cans.

Stopped here about an hour before they closed for the evening. The brewery is huge! We immediately…read moreloved the one of a kind decor flourishes such as custom made lamps and murals (even on the ceiling). You could see some of the brewing area and everything looked so clean. It was intriguing to peek behind the curtain and they even offer paid tours. All of the workers we encountered were pleasant and enthusiastic about the products. We loved the chill vibe of the location, as they had an open outdoors area with seating and lawn games, including disc golf and corn hole. There was also an outdoor patio with a couch and stage for live performances. It was a place I could see myself kicking back at on the regular if I were local to the area. The location was not serving food when we visited though a food truck was located on site and said it would be opening in May. They did have complementary bags of pretzels available for guests to take. We also enjoyed the gift shop and the fun merch for sale. We purchased a hat. My husband enjoyed his beer and regrets not purchasing a four pack to take home.

Well, this is easy. It was a snowy Saturday on a dirt road…read moreapproaching the farm, brewery, shop and beer. There were 20 people in the draft room. About what I thought there would be. This brewery was known to be superior 8 or so years ago. Us hop heads in CT dreamed about it but never tasted. We were curious, their location was intriguing. It also made us skeptical. So the snow is falling, it's approaching 4pm, the drive brings you up a hill on the dirt road. Add beer to the uncertainty of the moment, it was perfect for anxiety, excitement and first tastes. Draft one was a nitro stout. Yeah, like Guinness but... UNBELIEVABLE. Just that good. Then an IPA close to their origin. Simple. Again, UNBELIEVABLE. Easy sell, I bought each 4 pack available. Asked for a restaurant in Montpelier. The Three Penny Taproom was... UNBELIEVABLE. (Chickpeas, Chicken Nuggs and Hill Farmstead all over the place.) Of course the brewery guys recommended it, and the gas station at Willey's in Greensboro. So we survived the "brief flurry", and a Taproom extraordinaire. The beer is ready for a Connecticut Christmas and will be compared to the beer from Burlington, Stowe and Deerfield. All great brews. The anticipation of enjoying Hill Farmstead beer was just as exciting as the trip and first taste. So, If you need a trip, find them. No complaining about the distance and remoteness, please. It's where they are. Yeah, you can find the beer in other places in state. I look forward to getting it at those spots. I look forward to seeing the brewery in the summer!
