The stomp burger tasted like an old fashion burger I loved it and the thin onion ring are amazing . And the service was very helpful. Will come back soon read more

I am trying so hard to love this place and the food is really good so I like it. Literally everytime they upset me I bite into the burger and I'm no longer upset so I'm writing my review before eating. The first time we came it was good. We sat down and placed our orders. we thought we purchased combos a the portions were large but when the bill came out we were charged a lot for the fries as a side portion. They resolved the issue by not charging us separately for the drinks and let us know next time time you have to say you want a combo. Okay whatever. The next time I came I order a chili cheese fry and they don't put the chili and cheese on it so a manager says next time my meal will be comped. When I came to get my comped meal the manager was not there and the message hadn't been shared with anyone. It was supposed to somehow be under my number that I would get whatever it was comped and it wasn't but whatever. TODAY I order a burger fries and drink an ask for ranch to go with my meal. He gives me one for free but I wanted two. When I asked for two he says well we'll have to charge you so I'm like fine I want three then because since it was free i wasn't gonna be greedy but if I'm paying I want to make sure i have what i need. I'm charged 2.20 (just about half the price of my fry) for the ranch but now the first one isn't free. So I had to argue him and the manager down that shouldn't I get atleast once sauce free with my food. Apparently fries and a burger don't warrant a ranch and I should only want ketchup to go with my meal since I hadn't ordered something that "comes with sauce." I try so hard to like them but I can just as easily go to Red Robin and get a 17$ burger with endless fries and free ranch without the extra headache. And for the two of my orders I had issues with I didn't even get points so that's just another small loss that's irritating. read more

So many interesting options on the menu to try. After a brief deliberation (even though we were starving and couldn't wait to eat), we decided on the Frito pie appetizer. Their chili is just right. Perfect mix of cheese, chili, and Fritos. The Honky Tonk burger was perfection. Nicely done fried/smashed beef patty with sliced sausage, bbq sauce, cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese, red onion, pickles on a made from scratch bun. So good! Seasoned curly fries were addictive. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I had to tap out after that. We did get desserts to go. Excellent service BTW. Stomps is excellent in every way. Next time, I will try a different burger as they all looked amazing and one of those Dublin, TX sodas. read more

The have great burgers and even better service. I would recommend going after the lunch hour rush. They can get pretty busy.

If you're in Houston you have to stop here for a burger. It was conveniently within walking distance of my hotel and I saw that it was a local place with good reviews so I had to stop in. I ordered the Big State Burger as soon as I saw it on the menu and man did I make the right choice. It's like the best double burger you've ever had, but better, because one of the patties has been replaced by a disc formed out of the steak from a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Absolutely delicious. Had a local Love Street kolsch draft to wash it down with and a tasty strawberry milkshake to go. The service was great, food came out fast, and was so satisfying and filling. Amazing value as well! read more

Holy Freaking Burger Y'all Mmmmmmmmm!!!!! Waffle fries are greater than everything I stayed simple but burgers can get super sloppy if you like them that way!! Was very impressed!!! Do not overlook this place when you're in the mood for a burger! It's a small place in a shopping strip but it's definitely a must try. They have a few booths for dine in and super friendly. It's restaurant style so you sit and order. Although they do have a to go counter for orders as well. They do categorize as fast food and can definitely get you in and out in quickly especially if you have time constraints (such as lunch hour etc). You better go hungry! Their burgers are not your average size. Made fresh when ordered, you can't beat that. Quality burgers at a great value is the best way to put it. The burgers were cooked just right and were very juicy. The onion ring deserves a special mention because it was lightly battered and fried to perfection that the batter to onion ratio was perfect and you could definitely taste the onion more than the batter. We also got Oreo milkshakes to go. read more

Awesome food and great service Always great food All the good is good but large portions so come hungry read more

Why 4 stars? Because this is the spot if you're looking for a hearty burger. --- --- --- I have definitely eaten at and reviewed Stomp's before, but it must have been their old listing. When I saw that I hadn't reviewed it yet, I was shocked, but my brother mentioned that they had moved semi recently. He should know, he had them cater his casual rehearsal dinner. During a football Sunday, this is what we opted for and it turned out to be a solid choice. The first impression I had of my Texas Burger was that it was heavy. If you're having one of those days where you feel like you could eat a horse, this burger will likely hit the spot. We also ordered a couple Licker Skillet's, which were a huge hit amongst all of us. I also enjoyed the mac-n-cheese, though the portion was laughably small. It was already in a small container, but when I opened the container up, it was less than half full. That was disappointing, but overall, we enjoyed our meal. read more

So.. I just ordered to go from here and it was my first time eating here and my bottom burger patty was soggy as hell and nasty. Burger and mushrooms were unseasoned and they forgot my ranch I asked twice for... fries were super crispy and good. Would maybe try eating inside and getting a different burger. Was okay. read more

Stomp's is by FAR the best burger joint in the area. The selection of burgers is huge. The flavor is great. The service is excellent. And the Philly Cheesesteak is pretty good too ! If you can't find a burger you like at Stomps, the problem is probably YOU ! I love it ! read more

Good hefty size burger. I could also tell they use pretty fresh and nice ingredients. However, the meat patty on my burger was flavorless and seemed like there was no seasoning on it. I also wish the burger came with fries as well. Service was good. read more

Oversized burger!! The burgers are huge and delicious. As a matter of fact, when you get your burger the meat is larger than the bun. They don't cheat you on the meat. I ordered the Texas Original Burger rattlesnake eggs and onion rings. Loved the onion rings but they can keep the rattlesnake eggs. They had way too much cream cheese and not enough jalapenos. I will return to try some of the other options. read more

Slowest service ever. Waiting forever for drinks, attitude from servers and bathrooms needed attention. Not worth the trouble for fried food

Hey are you looking to eat at stomp burgers joint will here is a few things you need to know before coming here first off the food it was a for sure 10/10 and the drinks are the best ever so if your looking to come and eat somewhere here is a quick little review and this is your sign to come to stomps burger! read more

We've visited the Bacliff location one time and it was okay but wanted to give this location a try. Service was 4/5 stars. Cleanliness was 5/5. I ordered a Single Stomper + seasoned waffle fries. Plate looked awesome when it was quickly delivered to the table. Burger was impressive in size and appearance, lacking in flavor. The stomper comes with guacamole and sour cream as part of the condiments and honestly those were the only flavors apparent. The burger lacked any type of seasoning or flavor at all. 1/5 The waffle fries were 5/5 and as good as I've had anywhere. My wife ordered parmesan garlic wings. Again, plate looked awesome. Sauce was packed with flavor but the wings were either baked or lightly fried as the skin was still soft and not crisp at all. Add the sauce on top of that and now you have a good tasting wing with a slimy texture when you take a bite. 2/5. We will try to heat them in the air fryer at home and dry them out but the texture ruined her appetite. Overall, disappointing. :-( read more

We've eaten here numerous times and finally getting a chance to review. Love this burger spot! Appetizers: texas rattlesnake eggs Entrees: hubby gets the big state burger every time and I get either the texas tumble weed or fried egg burger. We always order with fries and tator tots. Dessert: fried brownie every time! Food is always consistently good, quick and friendly service. Portions are large, I can only finish half my meal and take the rest to go every time. Highly recommend! read more

I was right across the street from Stomp's and, having read the reviews on Yelp!, decided to give it a shot. I had the Stomp Burger, mac and cheese, and a chocolate shake to go. The hamburger and the mac and cheese were very good. The chocolate shake was outstanding! The young woman doing everything except the cooking was friendly and enthusiastic. My only minor issue was that I thought the portion of the mac and cheese should have been larger for the price. Overall, a very good experience. Thanks! read more

I'm giving Stomp's the benefit of the doubt that they have some growing pains from being recently opened at this location. I'd give the food a 3, service/location/ and cleanliness a 5, so averaging to a 4. I thought the flavors on their foods were a little underwhelming, but I come from an ethnic family and used to lots of spices so maybe I'm not used to just a simple hamburger joint? I had a Philly cheesesteak, my wife tried their bean burger, and we got a chicken tenders and French fries for my son. I don't think the burgers were seasoned prior to cooking, the cheesesteak was nice and fatty, but the cheeses weren't very flavorful and I think it was missing a lot of salt and pepper in the cooking process. The service was exceedingly nice, several waiters came to help us out, the manager checked on us just to make sure we were happy. They got us all our food promptly, apple juice for my baby, and lots of recommendations for food. read more

We like the one south of Kemah, but not so much this one. They have a long bench like Burger Nation and a windmill on the wall like Mia's Table. We ordered our regular from the other place. It took 35 minutes to get a hamburger. We saw others who came after us being served. NOT GOOD! In addition at noon that parking lot is a nightmare. The entire lot is jammed so people are leaving regularly and the hotel behind the strip center had a fairly steady stream of traffic. The endless traffic on Bay Area blocked people from leaving so the line gets very long. For quite a while no one would let us in line. Can't blame them given how long they had to wait in that clot. We won't be back __ We've eaten out every meal for 30 years read more

I would love to give this more stars but I'm afraid three it's just going to be my limit the burger itself was good not a big fan of the bread not sure if it was stale or what the fries and the onion ring taste like they were fried in old grease or might have been sitting out for a while. I also taste like raw flour in the onion rings turn on sure what was going on there. We ordered a burger to go I asked for the avocado on the side well I didn't even come home with the avocado. The restaurant itself is a little claustrophobic tables are way too close. The service was good. read more

Place clean, portions we more then average, all food was good. Fried jalapeños cooked perfectly Sweet potato fries, onion rings and seasoned curly fries all cooked perfectly and tasted good We had typical burger, chilie burger and Wild West burgers all great. Only suggestion for me was to not press the burger quite as much. Would have preferred a thicker patty. They are all 8oz so plenty of meat but mine seemed to be a little more pressed. Other then that zero complaints. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend. read more

Awesome burgers! The divey atmosphere adds to the experience. Will skip the onion rings next time and try the sweet potato fries

Ordered out. Tater tots were soggy not crisp. Same with the onion rings. The Stomper was stuffed and hard to eat. Wife and I shared everything and didn't eat half of it. Burger on a hoagie was just ok. Nothing special. Bland. If I had dined in I probably would have asked for new tots and rings. Not real impressed. On top of that they suggested an 18% tip for just taking the order at the register. read more

The Frito-Beandito was excellent and huge, cooked just right, and very tasty cheddar on it! Really great burger, very good service and quick with the order! The onion rings were very good and the fries were good. The other burgers at our table were similarly excellent! Impulse buy: coconut pie, frozen slice, $5, not very impressive, not worth it, maybe worth $1.50. It was tasty, but not like some other restaurants in the area known for their pie. Also, the restaurant was a bit noisy. The burger was what we were there for and this was as good of a burger as I could ask for! Enjoyed the visit very much, except for the pie. I appreciate knowing if my reviews are Useful, Funny (or disagree), or Cool (concur). Thanks! read more

Omg the have the best strawberry cheesecake brownies ever the burger mushroom swiss and great service

As the newly inducted Duke of Stomps I'd just like to say ... If you don't love the burgers here maybe it's because you are vegan. These burgers are the best around. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy my whataburgers when I'm needing a burger fast while on the road. Have time to sit down and enjoy a burger I'll pick Stomps every time. There's plenty of close runner up's but hands down Stomps is best around. From the staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, pricing to the quality of the burgers and sides. I've never had a bad experience or meal at the Webster location or the Bacliff one. Keep up the great service of delivery quality food to Texans!!!!! read more
