The salmon was perfectly seasoned and blackened, and the peppered bacon was a great compliment. I typically ask for any type of sauces on the side, however, I forgot this time and was still happy with the honey mustard style sauce in the wrap. My dining companion ordered the fish of the day tacos, which was trout and she said they were really tasty. First, the food quality has declined compared to my previous visits over the years. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, and what I received was not consistent with how the dish has been prepared before. When I politely asked the server (Katie) to take the plate back because it was not as expected, she became upset and responded in an unprofessional manner. She questioned what was wrong and stated that the dish would come out of her check. I calmly explained that I have been coming here for many years and that the preparation was different from before. Her response was inappropriate--she mentioned that "Mr. Papas died in November," which I found disrespectful and unnecessary. Regardless of any internal changes, this is not something that should be communicated to a customer in that manner. I then asked to speak with a manager and explained the situation. Unfortunately, the server continued to behave rudely while I was addressing the issue. This experience did not reflect professionalism, respect for customers, or the standards I had come to expect from your establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both service and customer experience moving forward.
