I highly recommend Scott and Freedom Electrical Services. Scott is an honest, knowledgeable…read moreprofessional who accurately diagnosed the electrical issue I was having and fixed it efficiently and affordably. He initially came out to help change a washer/dryer plug. Still, after seeing the quality of his work, I decided to have him take on a few additional projects, including installing new ceiling fans and master surge protectors. Throughout the entire process, Scott was reliable, transparent, and easy to work with. It's rare to find someone who combines skill with integrity, but that's precisely what you get with him. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future electrical work.

I have used Jason Hurley on projects at my home and have been very pleased with his quality,…read morehonesty, pricing and integrity. There is significant construction in my neighborhood in addition to freeway construction which are all causing power outages. When the power is restored we experience surges that have cost us a small fortune in appliance repairs and replacements. Jason recently installed a solution for us - a home surge protector which we are so grateful for because we have not experienced any additional catastrophes since he installed it. We've lived in our home for 30 years and have been through many service professionals and we consider Hurley Electrical Services one of the best and the only electrician we will use.

Chadwick showed up on time in very nasty weather to work on our doorbell. The last electricians…read morethat didn't fix it, (referred from the home warranty company), said "the transformer was bad." Chadwick looked at it and we both looked all over for the transformer and could not find it. I don't think the last guys did either and neither did Chadwick. He showed me where the line was cut to the doorbell and how the copper was old and oxidized. He installed a new transformer using existing wiring and made it work. I was very happy to get that fixed and will hire him to set up the lights for the front of our house. 4/7/2014 Addendum: Due to my previous 5-star rating and good experience with Elite Electric I was going to have Chadwick put in some landscape lighting at our house. I made an appointment after the last visit (and the review above) and he didn't show up, didn't call. That was January. Then I rescheduled, took off work to meet him, time came, no electrician. I texted him and then called him and he called me back and said I was on the schedule, but he had forgotten. I asked if he could still make it out, and he said he would try. He called me two hours later at 5:00 to say no he couldn't after all. I was pretty unhappy and will be going with someone else for my lighting. He is a nice guy and knows what he is doing when he does come out, but the last two experiences are going to have me going somewhere else.

Overall great experience. Super polite and professional, Christian Chase is a master electrician…read morewho knows his trade, pays fastidious attention to detail and is thoughtful to the homeowner during the process. I needed a good electrician because I had a lot of dangerous unpermitted "DIY wiring" at my house that was frankly scary. I'm surprised my house passed inspection when I bought it. The breaker panel was so compromised the city had locked it to prevent any further tampering. This was a major repair that had to be done. Christian gave me a prompt and reasonable estimate for the job, stepped it out and ranked my problems in order of importance to help me budget, and allowed me to make two payments. He got all the permits and supplies very quickly, scheduled at my convenience, and worked until dark to get the job done right. He showed me everything he was working on and explained it in detail, his workmanship was precise, he kept appointments and cleaned up after himself each day. He pointed out other problems that he found along the way and gave me the choice whether to fix them or not. Finally, I'm a single woman and I always felt completely safe with him at my house, which has not always been the case in the past, so I'm very sensitive to this issue. He was super nice to my dogs too. I give him my highest recommendation.
