Really thankful for the team at Edge. Kelly called me back pretty quick after I put out an inquiry on yelp and squeezed me in for an quick assessment in between jobs. The main job was to get an outlet installed for an EV charger and Kelly's expertise was top notch when it came to explaining my system and recommendations for placement and their quote was very fair. I had Kelly check another issue for me that wasn't part of my original inquiry and he took the time to figure it out and got me booked for someone to come and do the work really promptly. Charles came out and assessed the problem and resolved it within minutes, explained the issue and answered questions I had with expertise. He also helped me answer a few more questions about some things with switches, very friendly and overall this team was solid. For me, the price of the service wasn't even a question by the time these guys were done. Even if they were on the higher end of an Electrician's cost (which they're not, they're right on par) it would have been worth it for all the things so explained here. Appreciate this team and would trust them with any and all jobs I need completed in the future. read more

Needed a few light figures replaced in my home. One of the lights was on a high ceiling which required a very tall ladder. I got several quotes from electricians. Some gave me a ball park figure without really asking any questions. One said my ceiling light fixture would require a scaffolding which would cost $700 to set up. Edge electric listened to our needs and took the time to understand what we needed. They came out, did a great job with a 20ft ladder and I couldn't complain about the price. read more

They did the initial work (breaker replacement) on-time and as-promised. When we had a related issue a month later, they came out and corrected the issue immediately. read more

Thomas did great work! I had a 60A circuit installed for our hot tub with conduit running down the side of the house. I supplied the breaker box and breakers, because they told me it'd be cheaper to go buy it at Home Depot! I don't think you can get more honest than that. The work itself is cleanly installed and was done in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Edge Electric. read more

Quick and efficient. They installed a NEMA 14-30 plug point in the garage in 30 minutes. Charles knew what he was doing. He was courteous and even vacuumed the work area afterward. Highly recommended and they didn't charge me an arm and a leg like a few other quotes that I got. read more

Hired Edge for a lighting job on the remodel of my home. We need some can lights and pendent lights installed along with hanging of a dining room chandelier. From the start of the interaction up until completion of the job was 100% best experience. I called around and got quotes for my projects and Edge by far was the best! The technician Mr. Flores came to our home and followed covid protocols he was very knowledgeable and helped with the flow of the lights because I was unsure of where I wanted them. The install was fast and efficient. He even stayed afterward to make sure the app was installed correctly and workout properly. Will definitely hire for future projects. Way to go guys! read more

Great work done by these guys. They quickly scheduled me and offered a realistic estimate. Once they got here they quickly (less than a minute) found the issue and corrected it even after another contractor had assured me there was a greater problem taking place. My issue is fully resolved and I am totally satisfied with the work. read more

DO NOT do business with this company. They came and did 1.5hrs of work changing 8 outlets and charged me $621!! Then when I called in to dispute it they tried to say they have $575 fee just to COME OUT and they tried to say they told me beforehand but THEY DID NOT. To make matters worse when I called in they gaslighted me acting like I was the bad guy when they did not tell me about this insane pricing. Bad people which I sorely regret working with. Do not do business with Edge! read more

Poor communication and more expansive than I expected. Plus a $20 fuel charge to travel 6 miles is interesting.

We hired an electrician from Edge to complete a project in our garage about a year ago, and he did a great job at a relatively reasonable price. We were happy enough with that job that we contacted Edge again today for an issue we were having with two outlets not working. Upon calling, we were told that the company was undergoing some changes due to "losing money", and all their prices were higher now. Weird thing to say, but ok. We described our problem and he walked us through basic troubleshooting before scheduling a guy to come out. He could even come out this afternoon! It sounded great. We asked for a cost estimate, but he said he could not give us one because it would depend on the job. The guy comes out, pushes a GFCI button that had tripped, and the problem is fixed. I thanked him, and he went to go call his supervisor about how much they were going to charge me. He came back and said they adjusted it down to $311. My jaw dropped. (For reference, the job last year cost us $700 for hours of work putting in two new electrical outlets with their own breakers). Per my camera doorbell, the electrician was in and out of my home in FOUR MINUTES. He explained that the $311 was their minimum 1-hour rate. Now, I *definitely* understand being charged to have someone come out regardless, but this seemed outrageous, and I said as much. He said we were warned about it on the phone while scheduling, and I said we absolutely were not, even when we asked for an estimate. Terrible, terrible business practice, a total lack of honesty and transparency, and evidently not the same business they once were. read more

Charles was pleasant, professional, honest, and knew his stuff!! He explained everything in simple terms a layman could understand. A problem that lasted 6 months was solved in 1/2 hour. The next day after I called. For a fraction of the cost we thought it would be - I will highly recommend to anyone who has an electrical issues!!!! read more

Very professional, very responsive, did a standup job, and was very pleasant to work with on this project. Charles and Tercio did great work on an unconventional electrical request. Kelly swung through in the end and was really flexible. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

Edge installed a 50 amp plug, breaker, and interlock for backup power from a portable generator. The appointment was within a week of my initial request for a quote, which was one of the most affordable. The electrician, Tercio, was fast, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, got everything installed and tested, and gave a simple training on how to use it. read more

Great work with high ceilings fan installation. Timely and quality work. Highly recommended

Installed an EV charger for me. Extremely fair price and high quality work. I'd recommend them for any electrical installations.

Didn't work for me! I saw reviews and contacted via yelp for an electrical job. They send an estimate for the job and availability. I spoke with the person and asked for the quote via email, scheduled the day for work over phone with me he representative. Received a message stating that the owner wanted to pass on the job without stating any reason. I found this to be unprofessional! read more

I called three different electricians and couldn't get a hold of anyone. When I called Edge, I was connected with Kelly. After I explained the problem I was having, Kelly quickly identified the issue and walked me through how to fix it myself, no appointment necessary. We had a breaker that kept tripping. We were able to isolate it to a set of two way light switches but needed help finding what was causing the problem. I sent out inquiries for a custom bathroom electrical install, and Edge was one of the first to reply. They came out quickly to take a look at the job and provide an estimate. What they planned to do in order to complete the job was clearly explained and very straightforward. Once I decided to use Edge, Raymond stayed in contact and arrived at my house at exactly the time he said he would. Raymond was courteous and took pride in doing a great job. He did a beautiful job and cleaned up his mess. I couldn't be happier. I've had a lot of work done on my house over the last 6 months, and what I've discovered is that it is very hard to find contractors and tradesmen now in Central Texas. Companies act like they're too busy to come out, they break appointments without even an explanation. They give outlandish estimates for work without even coming to your home. Just general all around bad behavior by companies and contractors. It was very refreshing to deal with a company that was responsive, courteous, prompt, transparent, AND does quality work. I highly recommend Edge. read more
