Such a great shop! Very well stocked with most of the best brands out there. Staff was very friendly and the prices were on point. Will absolutely be back!

This place is small(ish) but mighty. It's always our first stop when needing any kitchen gear, gadgets or even cool gifts. If you can't find something, just ask - they almost always have it. The team here is among the friendliest of any business I've been to since moving to RI four+ years ago. Fun cocktail napkins, oodles of bar ware, lots of pots/pans, potholders, the coolest & quirkiest of cookbooks, coasters, sauces, spices, sponges, the list goes on and on. It's a great shop. A+

This little kitchen store is the absolute best. It may be small, but they have one of everything you will ever need. Immediately upon entering, you are greeted warmly with a smile. I purchased several items with their help of knowing the correct equipment. Funnel with a strainer? Got it. Small bowl strainer? Got it. Silicon grip tongs? Got it. Don't have it? Maybe they can order it! Often there are pop ups of local businesses, such as Pudding Riot, Fountain & Co, Rustic Roots, and more! You will also find Nitro Cart and Luluna Kombucha on tap. In the back is a fridge of local products. There is also a huge shelving unit of all local spices, sauces, chocolates, teas, etc! I recommend everyone to visit!

So excited I found a local store selling French onion soup bowls! Thank you Stock! Here's my homemade French onion in one your bowls.

I was so excited to find French onion soup bowls here after searching high and low for them. Very glad I was able to purchase them at a local business instead of ordering them from Amazon. Excellent COVID precautions too with hand sanitizer right at the door and all staff wearing masks.

This is a beautiful shop, with a thoughtful selection of high-end food preparation items: pots, pans, glassware, tools and towels. Frankly, most of these items are out of my comfort zone/price range, but it's all so beautiful and temptingly curated and displayed. Stock is the place to go for kitchen gift items and/or for serious cooks. Stock also strongly supports other RI food-based businesses. You can pick up Dave's Coffee syrups and beans right here on Hope Street. They also have one of the two NitroCart coffee carts I'm aware of on this part of town (and without the hour wait you'd find at PVDonuts). On Sunday, we were surprised to see that they also offer some of those donuts for sale - again, without the line, people! We learned that they are considering an earlier opening because of the coffee cart. If that happens, my mornings will get a little better...

This little shop on Hope street is the cutest. I wanted to buy everything inside from the cutting boards to the glassware. There are some really unique things inside and some of them even resemble Rhode Island. The staff is also really friendly and welcoming. I went to Stock for their Stocktoberfest where they had lots of local businesses throughout the store. Each of them were giving samples and answering questions about their businesses. I was able to try some beer, coffee, ice cream, and donuts. I definitely recommend visiting for one of their pop up parties like this! It's a great way to look at their merchandise while getting to try some local businesses.

What a great culinary shop --gave me lots of ideas to step up my cooking game

The store is packed with unique tools, cookware, and culinary gadgets, many of which you won't find in big-box stores. there's a real sense of discovery in every corner. The shop is locally owned and staffed by people who genuinely love food and cooking, which gives the place a warm, welcoming feel. Their passion shows in how well the store is organized and how knowledgeable the team is about the products they carry. Whether you're a casual home cook or a seasoned chef, it's easy to find something that sparks inspiration. The biggest drawback--and the reason many people stop short of giving a full five stars--is the pricing. While the selection is undeniably impressive, a lot of items fall into the higher-end range, only a handful of products are under $10, with many gadgets and tools priced between $15 and $100. For some, the quality and uniqueness justify the cost; for others, the sticker shock may be real. Overall, Kitch delivers a fun, engaging, and well-curated shopping experience. It's a must‑visit for anyone who loves cooking or collecting clever kitchen tools. The prices may be steep, but the variety, atmosphere, and passion behind the store make it a solid 4‑star stop in Olde Mistick Village.

Let me first start off by saying that between this store and the other location in Salem NH, we…read morehave spend hundreds of dollars for kitchen items and were a pretty consistent customer. That being said, it only takes one time for me to be treated poorly and never go back to the place again. This christmas my wife spend a modest 7 dollars on a garlic keeper, amongst other things, and it was broken by a staff member while they were wrapping it for the bag after we purchased it. My wife made a comment to me that she hoped it wasn't broken by the way it was wrapped and handled as she too noticed it was handled roughly after it was purchased by the employee of the store. I assured her that it was probably fine and it sat on a shelf waiting to be wrapped for christmas. Fast forward to Dec. 24 and we unwrapped it to wrap it for christmas and noticed a crack running through the ceramic casing of the unit. We just decided to return it when we returned to the store a few days later when we were also going to buy a coffee maker and set of knives. Nevertheless, the employee called both my wife and I liars as there "was no way the unit left the store like that." She kept repeating the same thing and treating my wife like an ass so my wife just turned around and walked out of the store due to the way it was being implied that she was a liar and being treated so poorly. Since we were planning on purchasing other items and I was paying very little attention to the initial discussion I had to catch my wife as she was running out of the store and she told me what was happening. I then encountered the clerk over the situation and was treated the same way. I then asked for her name since she had no name tag and her managers name and phone number. She argued with me and told me that she didn't have to give me any of that information and simply gave me the phone number to store. I asked several times for the information and was told I was getting that information and if I asked again she was calling security. At that point I responded with, "why would you call security, I wasn't threatening in any way," she responded with, "yes you are," and began to walk away from me as if I wasn't worth talking to. It was at this point that I said some things that I regretted and walked out of the store. We have spent hundreds of dollars on both stores in Northborough and at Rockingham since we used to live in Andover. I have never been called a liar and seen my wife called a liar in a store before and have never been in a situation in a retail environment where I lost my temper. I will never return to either to these establishments again and will be spreading the word about how people are treated at the Northborough location for The Kitchen Place. Places don't know what customer service is any more...it was appalling how this woman acted.

In Downtown LA there is a fantastic store that has an insane number of knives... maybe too many. This store claims that they they have the biggest selection of knives in New England. I feel like they have enough good knives to have a varied enough selection for different preferences, but yet not overwhelming their customers with too many choices. I got a great bread knife that I'm really happy with recently. It's just the right weight (not to light) and has a really comfortable grip and an "elegant" length. It makes cutting breads really smooth and easy to cut very thin slices. It is apparently their best bread knife, and at $150, I think the price is right. Despite being on Beacon Hill, I don't feel that their prices are high or unreasonable, but just right. The store is fun to browse through for many other kitchen or cooking supplies or gifts. As a well-stocked mom and pop store it has that quality of surprise at finding something you never thought about. The personnel is also very helpful. I've been there a couple times and they seem to be knowledgeable and willing to help, to explain things and answer questions. They have personal experience with the things they sell.

But the service was bad and we encuntered terrible attitude. First of all, for a fine knife store, there was no ability to try any knife. Again, it is only available inside the sealed box. We could not open the box to examine the product. We decided to just buy the knife as a gift. Paid by credit card but had to ask the clerk to get my receipt. Even that, the first offer was by email only. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Do not go there. Not worth it.
