I went back today to exchange it for a better one one that is not tarnished. When I went in, I explained to the lady that I'm not here to get my money back. I will actually probably spent more than what this necklace was bought for. She would not exchange the tarnish necklace. Instead, she proceeded to tell me how silver needs to be cleabed. I'm not about to clean a brand new necklace I said. She went and took it on herself to clean it. I walked outside of The store looked at it still tarnished went back in and she cleaned it a second time. On my way home now looking at it in the sunlight and still it is gold and silver. Selling used furniture and antiques is not a bad thing but the people who operate this establishment describe their inventory as being akin to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. It isn't. Home Again Consignment is what it is which is a used furniture store. Comparing themselves to Pottery Barn is laughable. If people want Pottery Barn furniture, they can just go to Pottery Barn, which is probably a safer bet when buying upholstered furniture since used stuff (even if it appears to be in good condition) could be harboring bed bugs. They helped me isolate two fabrics, so my run of the mill seat became a juxtaposition of masculine and feminine (see before and after pictures). Top pillows are reversible, giving me two looks in one. Truth be told, it is expensive to reupholster. You've got the cost of fabric plus the labour. With this said, I have never regretted spending a single penny. Open seven days a week = convenient! Now, let's all make a pact to clean out the garage so we can upcycle and make space for the car.

I had bought 2 decorations today that weren't wrapped and both got scratched in transit due to that.. for a store where most things arent duplicates this is disheartening. Ill be sure to specifically request my items be wrapped moving forward. In the past the cashier always just did it.

My husband and I really liked them so I needed to go back to buy 3 more. When I went the first time, they were going through inventory and the curtains were not out on the floor. I asked an employee if there were any in the back. He said "Yeah but because of inventory we can't get them. I can't go in the back cause it'll be in a box somewhere. Come back next week." I was a bit perplexed - so you refuse to sell me curtains because of inventory? I've done inventory with stores before and I've never heard of this. Such a wasted trip. So I call the store a week and a half later to ask - the employee goes to the curtain dept to look for them. I try to give her the UPC# but she doesn't want it, she's looking via the description. She says "They're probably in the back and I'm not going back there. It's in a box somewhere. They're unloading a truck now so it'll be out soon." I ask why it says there are 5 in stock online? She says "Well it's probably 5 cause there's 5 in the truck coming to the store right now." Even though it has said there's 5 in stock for the past 2 weeks. So my question would be - how unorganized is it in the backroom that no employee wants to go back there to check merchandise?? Is it just me or is that crazy?
