    Ravioli
    Jennifer G.

Stopped in on 314 day. Was a little disappointed there were no specials for the day. But we had great service. Took our order. Let us mix n match the available raviolis- meat, cheese & buffalo chicken. Also ordered the dessert ravioli which had a delicious mascarpone sauce. Ordered the porchetta sandwich & the cashier showed us photos of how its made & had us drooling Small shop with no tables to eat at so we ordered to go.

Went to get some lunch from the best toasted rav spot in stl and decided to check out the roast beef sandwhich for first time. This sandwhich was amazing. The beef was tender and delicious. Also had to get beef ravs and the Oreo cheesecake which is always amazing. Great spot with great service taking care of the community!

I got the toasted ravs as I heard those were must haves from this place and I loved it! I got the buffalo chicken dip ravs and the cheese ones and both were flavorful and if you're craving toasted ravs I'd go here. I also ordered the mozz sticks and although it seems pricy they are huge so it's like 12 dollars for like 8 medium sticks which isn't bad. I also got the desert ravs which were gooey butter and pecan which were absolutely a must try, it was truly unique and something I will want to come back for even just separate! I ordered to go so I was not able to really interact with the service but my food was ready as I got there and I didn't have any issues picking up. There's some seating outside which is nice but there is no indoor seating so I would recommend to go cause it could be busy.

Perhaps one of the most addictive pot pies I have ever, nay, will ever consume. The mushroom pot pie is a buttery, savory, flaky piece of beauty. And, if you really think about it, a pot pie is just a giant toasted ravioli! Very on brand. The service was awesome, and I love how they keep the place/menu simple. Nothing is over complicated. Specialize in toasted ravs, and sandwiches. Quite fitting for a spot on the hill!

Waited an hour and a half for two sandwiches and the order was not correct. The sandwiches were not worth the wait and were a bit overpriced. I Do not recommend eating here.

Friendly, good service, great sandwiches. In a short time they've put themselves on the map as a strong sandwich shop in the Saint Louis area. Very hopeful they'll be adding more sandwiches down the line and be in business for a long time!

First time here! We tried them at a pop up a while ago, and it was phenomenal. Got a mix of the t-ravs, cheese & meat. The ravioli is stuffed full of goodness. The cheese ones were so ooey gooey and piping hot! I don't know how many cheeses are in there, but they complement each other well. The meat one was filled with flavorful seasoned meat. Each ravioli is fresh & pillowy. The marinara is a little on the sweet side, but complements the t-ravs. We had to try the roast beef sandwich on garlic cheese bread. We were not disappointed. The garlic bread was perfect for the roast beef. The lean cut made my mouth water. Thinly sliced and stacked. Just a little au jus is perfect. The people working here really care about the craft, you can feel it in the air and in the fresh food. Local supporting local is an amazing thing in our community.

    Porchetta- highly recommend!

This was my first time at STL Toasted, and I was pleasantly surprised! From the outside, it may not look like much, but the food is great and the service was top-notch. I recommend ordering before you get in, so you don't have to wait! Food- the Porchetta was AMAZING. I've never had anything like it, but it was recommended to me by a friend. The ingredients were fresh and the flavor combo was delicious. We also got toasted raviolis, which were some of my favorites from The Hill. Made in house, and tons of meat filling on the inside - no air pockets. The only thing that would improve the experience is if there was more seating available. This location is not ideal for dine-in, as there's only seating available outside (as of Oct of 2025, lots of nearby construction sounds too). Not food-related, but I love the clock that's on top of the cabinet to the left as you walk in. I've never seen one like that, very cool!

My son and I stopped here on a whim and I'm so glad we did! We shared the roast beef sandwich on cheesy garlic bread with lettuce, tomato, onions, banana peppers and the garlic mayo! We even added a little of the homemade dressing on the lettuce! Holy moly! I'm going to CRAVE this sandwich! It was enough for he and I to share with a side of 6 freshly prepared toasted ravs. My son described the t-ravs as being like fried meatballs which was pretty accurate! They were stuffed with meat and served with their homemade marinara sauce. I wanted to try the dessert raviolis but I was just too full! The owners and her dad were all there making us feel welcome; they were so friendly! They didn't have indoor seating but had a few picnic tables on the sidewalk so we sat there and enjoyed our food. I will ABSOLUTELY be back!! You must go! Oh! I almost forgot! The iced tea was spectacular! Yes! Iced tea! I did 1/2 & 1/2 sweet and unsweetened. He infuses the tea with fresh mint. I was skeptical at first but I really liked it. Just go. You'll thank me later!

The only thing that tricked us was the Toasted Ravioli. It has meat in it, and my wife is vegetarian. The Arancini was terrific and the table bread was also quite tasty. My wife had the Manicotti and I had the Chicken Lemonata. So great. The bottle of the house Gitto's Red was the perfect wine as well. A great experience at a restaurant that is a legend in St. Louis and I am glad it was our first meal in the city.

Although claiming to have invented the toasted ravs, really did not enjoy them. Caprese salad was good for this time of year- early June. My go to meal to rate Italian restaurants is chicken Marsala, and was unfortunately the worst. Chicken was overcooked, rather tasteless and hard to cut. Very little sauce, but good mushrooms. Side of red pasta helped but was too sweet.

Parking is easy within a block or two. Outdoor, booth, and table seating is available. My husband had the gluten free pasta because it is also vegan, and no lie and true to form, it was delightful and light! The tomato sauce is Perfection: not too acidic, not too sweet, letting the grand yet humble tomato shine. I chose the puttanesca, one of my favorite traditional Italian pastas. I would order this again!! Had plenty for lunch the next day. Not to be left out: the toasted ravs and cannoli. I've had a few T-ravs since moving to StL, and these are excellent. The tomato sauce for dipping, once again, is a real treat. The cannolis? Precious, flaky, and dreamy. I ate one at our table and took the second bad boy home. FIRE.

While traveling through Missouri, my wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner. I searched…read moreYelp and came across Anthonino's. I also remembered seeing it featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we figured it had to be worth a try. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but noticed a few open seats at the bar and asked if we could sit there instead. The two bartenders welcomed us right away and told us they would take good care of us throughout the evening. My wife ordered an iced tea, and I started with an Old Fashioned. For an appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli ($14), which is handmade in-house and filled with ground beef, ricotta, and pecorino romano cheese, served with marinara sauce. It's one of the dishes featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. For dinner, my wife ordered the Chicken Marsala ($23), and I went with the Bolognese ($17), made with veal, pork, red wine gravy, cresta di gallo pasta, stracciatella, and Calabrian chili oil. The toasted ravioli arrived looking great. I tried one without the sauce first. The fresh pasta didn't fry up quite the way I expected. It was more flaky than crispy, and I was hoping for a little more crunch. The filling was decent but could have used a bit more seasoning and flavor. The marinara sauce also had a bitterness to it that wasn't my favorite. When our entrées arrived, both dishes looked and smelled wonderful. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. My wife's Chicken Marsala had good flavor overall, but the side pasta was very gummy, and the sauce again had a bitter note that seemed to overpower the dish. My Bolognese was the biggest disappointment of the evening. When I think of Bolognese or a rich meat ragù, I usually expect a wider pasta such as pappardelle. The cresta di gallo pasta wasn't my favorite choice for the dish, and it also had a gummy texture. The sauce itself suffered from the same bitterness that we noticed throughout the meal. Looking back, I probably should have ordered the Carbonara once I realized the Bolognese wasn't being served with the type of pasta I was hoping for. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn't quite meet the expectations we had after seeing the restaurant featured on television and reading the reviews. The service was excellent, and the bartenders did a fantastic job taking care of us. While this visit was a bit disappointing, there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that looked great, and I would be willing to give Anthonino's another try and order something different.

It does not get the attention, nor press it deserves. The place is jumping with good people and good vibes. I got their New Years special which was prix fixe with prime rib as the main event. Everything was superb. The cassoulet had a beautiful spice with a velvety texture. The crab tom yum risotto was so decadent. Silky smooth from the coconut with a beautiful herby finish from the mint chili oil to complement the crab. I never thought I'd say this, but the brussel sprouts stole the show! Cooked in some bacon fat they were crunchy, salty, and perfect. Oh, and the prime rib was everything a kid could ever dream of. Fatty and the cacao rub was amazing. The horseradish was spectacular. The whipped potatoes were light and airy. Think of mashed potatoes in whipped cream form. A texture and flavor combination I will now dream of because I imagine I will never get to experience something so lovely again. As for cocktails, i kept it simple with a martini... I mean, it is a gin bar, how could I not? The service was great. I was dining solo and the servers and bar tender kept me updated, well taken care, and treated with intense hospitality. I did have one issue: I ordered a Barr Hill Vodka Martini at a premium price, and it had a strong taste of Juniper. I alerted the staff and they were very apologetic and understanding, unfortunately the manager assured me it was Vodka and didn't acknowledge the possibility it tasted like gin. I'm guessing bartender failed to rinse the shaker properly after the previous gin shake, resulting in a vodka drink with a strong gin flavor. The staff kindly replaced the drink with a lower quality vodka that helped satisfy me. The situation was resolved, but I walked away feeling misunderstood and dismissed by the owner. I will be back and I do recommend this restaurant. :)

We ordered a bottle of Amarone and enjoyed it with the whole meal. For starters, we ordered the polenta with Italian sausage between the two of us. We could only exclaim about how creamy the polenta was. It was extremely hearty, with some vegetables and thinly sliced Italian sausage. I'm glad that the Italian sausage was thinly sliced because otherwise it would have been overpowering for my palette. The next dish that my daughter had was technically a Caprese salad, which was tomato and mozzarella. She didn't like the red onion, but had asked for balsamic vinegar on the side, which she added to the salad, and when I tried the balsamic vinegar, even I realized that it is one of the best that I have ever had. My daughter went with the gnocchi, and said that it was among the best that she had ever had. We shared a veal and mushroom risotto between the two of us, and it was perfectly moist, the veal was not overpowering, and it was perfectly cooked. The veal just simply melted in the mouth.
