I have got to say i now have two BOM from Stitchin' Heaven. Amish with a Twist III and now Gemma's Garden. Been working on Twist III and very happy with it. Not sure what anyone could say this isn't positive. I think they are awesome. I called today and the associate helped me with everything I needed right from the phone. Great customer service and excellent communication. Then and if you are creating a BOM, you have to know what you are doing so complaints flummox me. It's independent AND they have a phone to call, FB to ask, and go to YouTube too. Then, looking for BOMs to do, they have the most interesting. The value is good and on par with other BOM onliners. I just think theirs are better, not old lady stuff (BTW I am an old lady). If you could choose any online, this is the one to choose. Thanks Sitchin' Heaven. read more

A group of ladies took a class recently at Stichin Heaven, and when we arrived, were unable to get into our Cabin, we were given the wrong cabin number and no code to get inside. We had to make calls and, luckily, for us, someone was still in the building next door and helped us. On the day of the class, our instructor was excellent, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We definitely were very pleased with her and her class. But Stichin Heaven did not put new blades in the rotary cutters, and we had a difficult time trimming our fabric. We were concerned someone would cut themselves on the dull blades. I just feel Stichin Heaven has very poor customer service. read more

I signed up for a BOM (Block of the Month) with Stitchin' Heaven that was to begin in September of 23. the first thing that happened was the club was delayed by two months as we waited for a special dyed background fabric. the background fabric was overdyed, had to be washed repeated, and was cheaper quality. things improve once we began except I felt that often times less desirable fabrics were chosen. So I often used my own fabrics, including the background. Then the shop changed billing methods and we missed a month. i would never be involved with Stitchin' Heaven again. read more

I am sure these are nice people and one-off sales are fine, but I signed up for a subscription club--which are VERY expensive. THEY created a billing issue and demanded we update the credit card. So we called and left messages for them TWICE and I filled out their online form for updating my credit card. I figured no problem, I"d had to go through this once before with them, and they got back to me no problem. This time around, though, a month goes by, no response. Another month, no response to anything I send them. I send them a kindly facebook message asking about whether they had had hurricane issues and noting that I'm willing to wait. No next month's square in the mail, either. Dead silence. Emails and phone calls later, still nothing. But they have time to spam me endlessly with marketing emails. I'm $1000+ into this damn quilt and they have, apparently, left me hanging with 11 squares. Nice. So my advice is avoid the subscription club because man do I feel ripped off. read more

I am in the same situation as Lisa S. post on 11/12/2024. I subscribed to a BOM for a Quilt and after 3 months have been left hanging with no response to emails or phone calls. I will have to go out and research these fabrics to find them to finish the quilt. This quilt will undoubtedly cost way more than I had planned. Not good business practice. I would not recommend doing business with this shop online, or at least, DON'T subscribe to anything. read more

Definitely a destination quilt store. I flew in from Pennsylvania with the sole purpose of visiting Stitchin' Heaven! It's easy to find who works there as they all were Stitchin' Heaven T-shirts. They have their own line Texas batiks. An entire wall is dedicated to pre-cut kits. While they are an authorized Bernina store there's not the pressure to buy a machine. Right next-door to the shop is the retreat center. The retreat center has rooms to sleep in and a giant room to sew. If you give them advance warning they'll even rent you a sewing machine. The staff is very helpful. read more

I love this store. Just was there 8/8/15 and spent to much money which isn't a problem for me there! Fabric, kits, block of the month programs notions and more, they have great selections of all of these. Some kits are laser cut and pre fused, does it get any better? Heck no. I'm working on my Dancing with the Stars BOM and can't wait to finish to see the end results. Huge WOW factor with this quilt. Don't get me started on the Travel portion of the business. It truly is the trip of a lifetime. Enjoyed my first one so much I've recently signed up for my second one. Can not wait, it truly is the trip of a lifetime times two! read more
