Cute, comfy spots to read and relax. Factory coffee cafe is located inside This is a Bookstore - they serve bagels, sammies, coffee and adult beverages. Walked across the sidewalk and visited Book Bug which is a children's book store. Again, a wide selection of books, comfy sitting space and a playhouse for the kiddos. She LOVES reading, and I thought it would be fun to visit a local, independent bookstore. It is a used bookstore, which was not clear from website description. The book choices for preschool children were minimal - a single small bookcase of books - most of which were ancient. (There was a Dick and Jane book there if you want to gauge age of the books). The books were poorly organized and many were very worn. As my granddaughter said, "This bookstore is boring." It was a shame as small communities need good bookstores. This wasn't it. The lone teenage staff member did not greet me, and even put on big headphones for good measure. Having said that, I like their style of having many different new books, rarely seen at other bookstores, available, but in many cases just one of each title. There's nothing more boring than going to the classics section and seeing fifteen different publications of Little Women. Their used books (in the way back by the restroom) seem a lot cleaner and newer than is typical for a used bookshop, which was nice.
