Cute, comfy spots to read and relax. Factory coffee cafe is located inside This is a Bookstore - they serve bagels, sammies, coffee and adult beverages. Walked across the sidewalk and visited Book Bug which is a children's book store. Again, a wide selection of books, comfy sitting space and a playhouse for the kiddos. This Barnes & Noble location offers many things under its roof Including a large floorspace with a massive selection of Books that can be incredibly overwhelming. I usually walk around browsing there Books while sipping on my shake they do have tables an chairs if you prefer looking to order a slice of cheesecake. Being able to sit an eat in the stores cafe allows you to read a few pages outta your Book you got with you as well. The Customer Service is great here they always got folks working that know there Books they know exactly where to look for a title fast if asked which is Helpful. This B&N is as well connected to the Lansing Mall which is very convenient for shoppers an wanting to checkout another store or grab a bite to eat without having to leave an drive to another location. It's always been difficult to check out very small area and there's always somebody doing company business at the cashier area and limiting checkout. I also don't like when they try to run you over when they're in the store. It's a bookstore. Worker shouldn't try push customers out of their way when they're walking down the aisles. And my God they mark up price is so bad on some of their toys Amazon is cheaper. eBay less expensive. They have a nice selection of books but limited in some categories. I was in the Park Hills neighborhood dog sitting this week and almost missed Kazoo Books. I took a sharp turn in because I had to check it out. The staff is engaging and pleasant and they have load and loads of books, practically everything you would find in B&N for same value or less (they have preowned books too). I will always prefer to shop small business and now I have a perfect excuse to become a regular customer of Kazoo Books and you should too :)
