Nothing less than 4 floors to explore in a nice location downtown. Eclectic is what you're finding here-lots of albums, art and a surprising selection of vintage clothing, including bridal. Prices are incredibly reasonable- I was able to score a treasure trove of advanced piano music-some of it old!!! This really is a mall- the shop just keeps going and going and going! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with beautiful antique items and it feels like it never stops! There really is something for everyone, I even picked up a vintage VCR camcorder there. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the value is pretty good, it is a collection of different vendors so some vendors' prices are better than others, though overall it's a pretty good value! This is a never ending treasure trove, this building will keep you busy as you search room by room and floor by floor. There is so much here waiting to be discovered and I highly recommend this Antique Mall. A stop here won't be a wasted trip. Even though I didn't walk out with something doesn't mean I didn't see anything I wanted. It took a lot of self control to spending a bunch and figured I'd have to bring my mother here and then I'll grab something to make it a fun day out for my mother. The owners were so kind and attentive. We shared a nice conversation regarding the weather as I came in and they made me feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this place. read more

I had two large and heavy items, but when they refused to let me use the restroom, I left without purchasing. Bad form, shopkeepers.

Well it is a lovely mall, but I had a horrible experience and I will not be back....I spent a great deal of money there only to find when I got home that half of what I purchased was not in the boxes they had packed for me. I called the store as soon as I discovered the items were missing and no one knew anything...I drove back there 45 mins drive mind you...and got the same response...actually the young girl that worked the counter was pretty rude if you ask me. Never and I say never agree to go for coffee while they tally up the sale...as they suggested...I have no idea what happened to 200 dollars worth of Czech glass beads...but I don't have them...and they claim they are not in the store...pretty depressing and frankly their response was pretty tragic to match. read more

My wife and I visited this antique mall while passing through Jackson. We frequent antique malls and as far as the quantity, layout, and inventory it was about average. Based on those factors I probably would rate the store a 3. That was, however until I heard an employee at the front counter (not sure if it was the owner or not) say something very distasteful and outright inhumane while speaking in a normal talking voice. I was in earshot, but it actually really doesn't matter whether he intended me to hear it or not since it was so ugly. My wife and I immediately left the store. Went and purchased a very cool looking sword from this place, it was priced at $800 originally and was said to be owned by a very famous person (who they refused to reveal who exactly it was). Through a series of events + patiently waiting, the price was brought down to $200, where I came and bought it at. I was very excited but soon discovered that the exact sword is on Amazon being sold by countless businesses for $44, not to mention, it wasn't owned by anyone famous. I'm disappointed and angry at this store for lying and gouging their customers for a quick buck. Be careful when you buy from this store read more

The Jackson Antique Mall's got a rather impressively large collection of items in a big old building downtown - both points in its favor for me - but feels a bit like a hoarder's storage unit when you give it a walkabout. That tends to be the case with the antique stores I've been in, but it'd be nice for things to be a bit better maintained (as far as the building goes) and organized (as far as the items on display are concerned). It also tends to make one question the authenticity of an antique shop's items when one finds a book about High School Musical with Zach Efron (and other similarly recent items) on display :-). All the same, the shopkeepers are friendly and there are a ton of items, so I'd definitely recommend that you give the Antique Mall a visit! read more

Went here with a friend one Monday and had this place to ourselves. It was a delight! We didn't know anything about it and it just kept going and going and we were enjoying ourselves so much that 2 hours passed without us even knowing it. We are very thorough, though. The stuff ranges from 'true antiques' to just really well maintained beautiful things, to random junk, to locally made new items. It was all fun to poke around and see. As others mentioned, there appears to be some method to the madness, and stuff is generally arranged by similar 'types/eras/genres' throughout this big, beautiful building. Unlike other 'mall' type venues, this isn't broken down into too obvious 'booths', which makes it more charming. Definitely recommend, and worth a trip to Jackson (beware of their nutty one way street system though). The local restaurants are also tasty so enjoy those while you're there. read more

I have died and gone into antique heaven. I love, love, love this store. Located in downtown Jackson, MI, this antique store boasts four levels of hidden gems waiting to be taken home for a second chance. Bottom level has all the garden items as well as a decent selection of books. The Main (second level) is split into three parts. The first-and front of the store has a great deal of kitchen/jewelry/sports themed goods/ furniture. The second is bedroom furniture/clothing and third being furniture and household goods. The third level has a great selection of unique goods like oriental-themed items, kitchen items, clothing and furniture. (stop in for some of my favorites). And the top, attic, floor has clothing and more furniture- along with books/magazines/clothing. So many items to choose from, that you cannot go in just once to get everything you want. I snagged up a beautiful silver/jade ring for $32 and a leather coat on sale for $20. You cannot go wrong with these prices. My gal pal found her future wedding ring- vintage- for $2100. I cannot wait for my next trip up to MI so I can stop in and see what other gems are available. The staff are super sweet and charming and will help you out in any way they can. If you have questions, they are a wealth of knowledge. And, they even say the building is haunted. Ask them about the story behind the building today! read more
