November 19 UPDATE: Thuy,…read more I saw your message. Your employee assured me that her position and communication was supported by you and your store policy. Please reach out to me via email: dr.amariejohnson@gmail.com to resolve. With children and a busy career, I simply don't have time additional to invest in this issue. I expect a full refund. (Less the disrespect). ********* ******** *********** Just purchased a Columbia Fleece outer jacket for my teen son marked "clearance". Unbeknownst to me was that the jacket was missing the main zipper. Yes... the jacket had absolutely NO zipper with which to close out the cold. We discovered this only after I returned home & my 14yo son tried it on. I tried to return asking just for store credit. The store rep - Abby informed me they would not take back the jacket as it was marked "clearance". And that because their buyer "made a mistake" they marked it clearance (30% off original price). When I emphasized that I only wanted store credit and that I would gladly choose something else for my son. I suggested that if they were passing a "mistake" onto a customer, that they should do so with transparency and clearly mark the tag with a note indicating the items flaw, e.g. write "missing main zipper" on tag. Otherwise, I suggested, the omission smacks of deceit and is unethical. She seemed unconcerned. Abby & other employees said with a laugh, "we don't even know how to do that". Meaning they don't know how to do a store exchange. I couldn't help but notice an air of smugness when she said this. Abby was quite bodacious and loud as she exclaimed a refusal in front numerous customers. I felt humiliated and defeated. So they refused to accept the jacket back. Adding insult to injury, Abby offered to take the jacket and donate it! I am a seasoned shopper and loyal customer of Platos. We've purchased clothing for all 3 of my now teen kids for the past several years over the course of numerous growth spurts including a current growth spurt my 14 yo is now experiencing! I don't appreciate the disrespect nor the blatant disregard on full display for other customers to witness and perhaps intended as showcase. I'll simply have to take my business elsewhere. Luckily, there are numerous options for used clothing.

I happen to be one such collector, so for me it was heaven. I'm not going to tell you what they had there. Honestly, I don't want you going out there and buying all the good stuff before I can. But I do have a couple of hints for you: Cash is best to use. There is a $15 min. for credit cards. The vendors are SO nice and are very willing to negotiate prices with you. Although, the stuff I found was priced so reasonably, I didn't feel the need to haggle at all. The vendors all know each other and will show you another booth if they know of something you're looking for. It's totally worth the drive into "the country" to spend a few hours looking around at all the cool stuff they have.

Recently I had to use the restroom in the back and when I came out the back door was open, I checked my watch which said 9:57 so figured it was ok to go in. A friend has a booth there right by the back door so I stood right there maybe 25 feet inside door and talked to him while they opened the front door. I made a purchase and was leaving when this lady chased me down and told me that they dont open untill 10. "Dont come in earlier". Wow! I'll still buy stuff from my friend but that's it. If I didn't know someone there I'd never go back.

The showroom is beautiful with a great selection and comprehensive illustrative materials for reference. Sanjay and Sean know their suppliers, and are excited about the pieces they represent. The pride in their stock is obvious. And, they are very helpful with tips regarding additional brands they have access to. We came in for a bedroom suite recently, and were dealt with fairly and honestly. Delivery does indeed take a long time, but I've heard similar quotes while shopping at other stores during this crazy covid time.
