Really nice selection from framed autographed pictures to unframed photos. Tons of signed sports memorabilia along with a nice variety of antiques. Worth the visit for certain and the gentleman at the counter could not be nicer or more accommodating. He really makes you feel welcome. This shop is part of one of the most charming and architecturally significant towns I have seen in the state. A pleasant surprise and with so much character. There is a 100 plus year old steakhouse around the corner. If you are anywhere near Marshall just pop in as it is worth the visit.

We had bought a stroller for our baby and this is the first time we used it to find it zip tied up. She cut them all off for me. Very helpful. They have just a bit of everything in the store as well. I bought two trains very cheap that need a bit of work, but she still wrapped them up very nicely so no damage befell them. No one does that, but she did. If you have not been here, check it out. They have DVDs, loads of them, they help with tax preparation, Long Arm Quilting, sewing & alterations, custom handcrafts, gifts, collectibles and antiques.

She buys vintage jewelry and has a fabulous eye for design. Throughout her shop you'll find ready-made pieces that would make for fabulous additions to any and all collections, and you'll also find pieces that she has brilliantly designed herself! Make sure you check out the precious stones room, too! It's a recent addition and she reserves full rights to rave so highly about it. Personally, I get lost in the mesmerizing sparkle of everything in the store that I have to set aside a two hour block of time to be there. The store is located in the historic town of Marshall, MI and I made several 1 1/4 hour trips to do business here. I had an engagement ring made for me by a jeweler in my home state of CA and when I presented it to my fiancée in MI in late August, it was too big!! And we measured at least 3 times. Justin Hodges (owner) resized her correctly in the store and later, he had the ring resized on the same day after I dropped her off at work and while I had lunch in town (NOTE: I paid extra for this expedited service! The price was STILL very reasonable and the SERVICE was incredible!! I had the ring back on her finger when I picked her up from work that afternoon!! ) My second experience was just as terrific as my first. My fiancée was gifted her grandmothers wedding ring. Initially, this ring was her wish for an engagement ring from me. But I had already purchased another diamond! And the ring from her grandmother needed to be completely rebuilt anyway. So after a couple of emails and phone calls from CA with both Cindy and Justin, we agreed to add two small diamonds and create the ring shown. This will be her Christmas present as a "Faith, Hope, Love" ring. As you can see, the ring turned out beautifully and although this is not the largest commission that Justin ever received, the service will bring me back for a long, long time. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HODGES JEWELERS TOO HIGHLY!!!!!
