Stopped to get a bite to eat, and have a drink. Sat on a swing at the bar, totally came out from under me, and I fell off the large step, on to my hip! Not one of the two bartenders that saw me fall offered any words like are you OK. Truly felt like they were inconvenienced, the bartender hated his job and took awhile for him to make our drinks, 3 crappy drinks for $25. We didn't eat, and we didn't order anything else to drink, we left. NOT TO RETURN

Veggies and lobster in the background.

Outstanding food. Incredible service. Nice combo of tourists and locals. Everyone here to have a good time. Daily karaoke and lots of fun. Ask for Gabriella, she's super on point. We had the lobster deal and it didn't disappoint. Dish was served with garlic butter to dress your food, a plat of steamed veggies and a baked potato.

Filet of grilled fish (bass) with garlic. My favourite one in Quintana Roo!!

BEST fish filet entree so far up and down Quintana Roo! I know, it doesn't look promising from the outside! Hear me out- For survey purposes, over the past 3 weeks I have repeatedly ordered the fish filet entree with garlic that you can find in almost any seafood restaurant all over Holbox, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and even in Huatulco. Surprisingly this tourist trap looking joint delivered the best combo of taste and value. If you don't want to feel like you never left America with the music videos on blast or karaoke after 8pm in the downstairs main dining area, opt for the second floor where they play live Spanish music. They use bass for the fish, slightly charred and perfectly flaky unlike grouper that some other restaurants used. Garlic flavour definitely came through. Even the side veggies are well-seasoned yet simple. Rice was on the soggy side but it's not why I ordered this dish so no points lost there. Generous portion but not heavy! Great for lunch or dinner. I can keep going... Service is on par with the rest of island, staff speaks good English as well. Not sure if they take credit cards. I've learned to always plan to pay with cash on the island.

Caiproska - vodka, fresh squeezed limon, and a touch of sugar - very refreshing

Let me start out by saying that I have not tried the food. We solely stopped here for drinks. Our bartender, Ever, was awesome at keeping us "stocked." Before the needle hit Empty, we were replenished with a fresh round. And...the drink quality was better than other bars that we tried on the island. From beer to cocktails to shots -- everything was on point. Unlike many of the other places on the island. Stingray also accepts credit cards. This will save you a trip to the ATM. If you have the courage - they have karaoke. If you sing, you can earn a free shot. You can't beat that deal. So, if you're on the island - stop by. Sit on the swing and unload. You'll be glad you did!

Spicy Margarita as big as your head!

One of my fiancé and I's favorite places to come together, when we visit the island! The food is excellent. I typically get ceviche, or one of their many shrimp dishes. My fiancé gets Calamares Rellenos, which is stuffed calamari. Sooo good. As for drinks, their bar is one of the best features. Drinks are great. They make a mean martini, and a spicy margarita, the size of your head. There are fun swings to sit at the bar too!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Isla Mujeres. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had in this island.

Giant plate of nachos with shrimp, chicken, and beef for 350 pesos

The food is good, not the best on the island but it's fine for the price. Definitely more Americanized but you're really at stingray for the party. If you're there on a good night, karaoke is super fun and turns into a dance party. Great, kind and courteous staff.

We ordered two beers, mixed ceviche, a skirt flank fajita, and a grilled fish - the sides to the skirt flank were delicious (cooked tomato and onion as well as really good hand-cut fries) and the ceviche was large. The grilled snapper was exactly just that but good. The place just opened so the staff is a little on the noob side, but they are eager and nice, and the food is decent, both price-wise and quality-wise. The only thing that irked me was realizing after the fact that the bill was added wrong and they tacked on a 67 peso... what, tip? We tipped another 20% on top so they got a 30% tip. Oh well.

This place is eclectic. Fish on one end and swings at the bar on the other. The food is delicious i got the shrimp and they were enormous and delicious. My husband got the lobster pizza and couldn't stop complimenting it. My daughter doesnt like seafood or Mexican much they had a hamburger for her. The size of the burger was very large and it was cooked well. Just be prepared you are on island time and the service is slow but that is expected..

We were staying at Ixchel Hotel just across the street and stopped in because of the their "3 tacos & a beer for $120" sign out front. This spot is solid! Good food, great place to relax and get out of the sun, and good music to go along with it. Go check it out when you're at Isla Mujeres.

The lime soup. Amazing, best lime soup I've had including three places in Cozumel and six others on Rivera maya. That good!!!!

She was walking us a little towards the back, but since it was my first time to Isla, I wanted to people-watch, so I asked about a table up front. As soon as we headed over, I saw why she passed it - it was right next to the saxophone player! Thank goodness his volume level was perfect! Just loud enough to be heard over the crowds walking down the 'lane' out front and the restaurant diners' chatting. But not so loud that we 3 couldn't chat. We loved it! Now these two can EAT - and love to try everything on the menu, whereas I tend to eat smaller portions. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic - huge pieces of shrimp, so good! The lobster mac n cheese is so good, I would have loved to bring a big container of it home with me! The restaurant is very busy but very clean and tables are well organized for maneuvering a quick trip to the restroom before leaving. Our server, Maylen was attentive and pleasant. The bar area, facing the street, looked like a lot of fun, I'll have to try it next time!

We sat next to the bar and there were some obnoxious gringos at the bar while we were there... which is common on the north side of the island.

It's a small, intimate spot so I'd definitely recommend booking ahead. We weren't very hungry, so my husband and I shared a few items: the homemade chips with guacamole and the lobster bites. One cool feature is that they let you choose how much lobster you want. Every dish was seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared both the flan and the brownie. The flan was creamy and rich, but the brownie was a bit burnt. Still, it was tasty enough that we didn't leave a bite behind. Overall, a great dining experience. We'll definitely return the next time we're on the island

The food and the drinks were so good! I had the skirt steak and it was SO GOOD! The flavors were good, the medium rare-ness was good, the sides were good, the drinks were unique! The only thing is the servers were nice but rarely came to check on us, and we had to flag them down for the bill. It was also a bit hard to hear with the music loud by the table. Otherwise, fantastic!

Water and ice was potable, for anyone worried about that. Also, the waiter saw we were struggling to order in Spanish so he told us, "I speak English, too. Don't worry." We had a big laugh about that The shrimp cocktail was incredible, as was the spinach artichoke dip. Plus, my little brother is super picky about textures, but there was zero chunks of anything in the dip, so he ate it with us. (It might not sound like a big deal, but it always makes my mom so happy when he tries something new, and not many places make puréed artichoke dip. The extra effort meant a lot to my mom and brother) He also doesn't like seafood (just as a preference) so he got a burger, and he RAVED about how good it was. The whole table went crazy for the homemade potato chips! Oh my word! Not too salty and not too bland. Would absolutely order again and then take another to go! The music wasn't too loud, and the sports bar entertained my stepdad while we had our Piña Coldas (which were also very good with Malibu). There was also big fans to cool us down on such a hot day!! I would 1000% go back there if getting to and from Isla Mujeres wasn't such a hassle Advice to anyone going here: stick to the seafood and hamburgers. I wouldn't recommend getting sushi anywhere that isn't an asian specialty restaurant Seafood is their specialty, and Snapper's does that WELL!
