Most of their specialty cocktails are quite acidic and that night I was craving whiskey so I ordered an old-fashioned and it was also very good. I would say this spot in particular is well known for big groups and bachelorette dinners. It is quite loud, so keep that in mind. Every dish that was brought out was perfection. One of the first dishes that was placed in front of me was a bowl of green foam. Sounds horrifying, right? I reluctantly ate it and somehow, this foamed green soup was one of the world's greatest and most flavorful concoctions. After that, I knew I was in for a real treat with the rest of the menu. If Tempo can make foam into one of the most delectable foods, there's nothing they can't do. Naturally, being a tasting menu, the portions were small but due to the quantity of them, I left feeling satisfied. Every dish blended perfectly into the next one. It was like storytelling through food. The pricing was high for Mexico, but at $80 a person for the tasting menu, it was incredibly reasonable for such a high-class experience. Outside of Mexico, a meal as impeccable as Tempo's offering would easily be $200+ per person. I am dreaming of the day I can return and try the latest tasting menu.
