Beautiful shop, great dark roast, pesto egg sandwich delicious, espresso chip scone soooo good! If I lived nearby, I'd go here daily!

1/2 of the egg and cheese "panini"

Nice place, good coffee, less than average expensive food. Ordered 5 orders of Panini, instead of sourdough it was on regular white toast, 10$ each, 13 with chips and a soda. For that I can get a huge sandwich at Panera!

Such an eccentric, fun, music lovers spot for coffee! Loved all the puns on the coffee menu (Johnny cash - bold/black coffee with shot of espresso/ purple haze - latte made with lavender). I went for my usual chai tea latte (concentrate made in house - yay!) and it was fabulous - a great hug in a mug! I also got the eggspress yourself panini - egg, pesto, provolone, and spinach - very very tasty!! Definitely give this Female owned coffee shop a try!

I went to Stillwater Coffee Co to wait for my boyfriend while he was having oral surgery next door. It was a nice and spacious coffee shop directly connected to Dental Implants and Oral Surgery Specialists of Iowa. I ordered their hot Raspberry Green Tea which tasted great along with their Kevin Bacon breakfast sandwich which was also delicious. I really liked the decor and setup of this coffee shop. Also, the two ladies working were very friendly and helpful. Overall, great experience!

Great new spot for biz, tea, coffee & Chess

First time here & completely inove with this new spot. Only thing I'd change is more tables for Chess and meetings. So many comfy spots. Don't miss the white chocolate raspberry latte

Cloud drink

Absolutely love this place! The setup and decor is so cute. Happened to stop in for my first time in October, so the entire place was decked out in pink for breast cancer awareness. Loved it and love the support for survivors. I tried a coffee flight, and all 4 drinks were so great. Also tried the cloud drink in a hot chocolate, and my daughter and friend loved it. Will be returning with more friends!

Later I added some whipped cream. You should do so too.

I didn't expect to astrally ascend when I was drinking one of their peppermint mochas, but life is full of unexpected adventures, just like Stillwater Coffee is full of fantastic baristas, such as the blonde Emma who served me (I asked her for her name). Saint Drogo, patron saint of coffee, had to guide me back to this realm from the beyond, an experience reminiscent of Dante's Paradiso in its life altering and poetic nature. He then sat down for a cuppa with me at one of the very comfortable booths. Visiting here was a life changing experience, I couldn't recommend enough. A hidden shop in the scarily blank highway roads in Hiawatha that when asked "is this heaven?" will surely make you answer "Iowa."

Gorgeous multi-berry scone

Great coffee ground while you wait. My personal favorite is Nick's Choice. The freshness of the coffee is what keeps me coming back.

My buddy and I had breakfast here and I'm not sure where the low ratings are coming from…read more He had an omelet with farm potatoes, toast and coffee - he said it was hot and good. I had a shipwreck and it was good as well. 3 eggs, 3 ingredients (sausage, corned beef hash and cheese sauce), and barn potatoes. I drank chocolate milk. We both took food home as these portions are large - so I have breakfast tomorrow. Our waitress was friendly and quick. The restaurant was clean and decorated in the breakfast house style that it is. Again, I'm not sure of the low ratings, I will return.

I was surprised how much I liked this place. I was not expecting much having not heard anything…read moreabout this place. On a whim we decided to try it out for lunch. I had a mushroom burger. I was not asked and it was cooked medium, I would have preferred a little less but it still had a good taste. There was plenty of cooked mushrooms but no sauce. The side of mac & cheese was tasty. My company had the French dip that looked like it had a good helping of beef. The side of fries had a light seasoned salt giving it a little extra flavor. Service was very attentive and polite, possibly because there were not many people for the late lunch crowd. The place was well lit with plenty of windows and looked clean. It could hold a larger group if needed. If given the chance we will be back.

The food was great, really like the Shipwreck. I recommend building your own plus it's your own…read moreshipwreck(lol)! I was not ready for the biggest hot cake I ever eaten and it was cook very nice. Hats off to the three cooks who were cranking out the orders. The place was busy but the wait time to sit and get my food was worth the wait. I would come back again to wait in line for the food.. Great place to stop by if you're driving through Cedar Rapids. The place is very nice inside, a little cramp but who cares the food was great.

Traveling through Cedar Rapids, we stopped at The Breakfast House for a quick bite before heading…read moreout of town. Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, it was easy to miss from the outside, but inside it had all the charm of a classic hometown diner. Since it was early on a Friday morning, we were seated right away with no wait. Our server was cheerful, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The menu had all the diner staples you would expect, and we decided to kick things off by sharing a cinnamon roll. It came out warm with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting. A solid start to the day. I went with the Corned Beef Hash combo, which came with two eggs, hashbrowns, and the option to substitute toast for a pancake for $1.99. Easy choice. I don't drink coffee, so Diet Pepsi was my morning fuel. Yep, it is another Pepsi establishment. My vegetarian sidekick ordered a veggie omelet without onions, but when the food arrived, hot and fresh, she discovered onions had snuck in. It was no big deal. They were very apologetic and had a corrected version out quickly. We shared my pancake while we waited, which kept everyone happy. All in all, this spot delivered exactly what we needed. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and breakfast classics done right. It is a nice little gem if you are passing through or just looking for a relaxed morning bite.
