I lost my Coffeesmith's fix when I'm in town and Scooters is a capable replacement. They rearranged the display cases with the pastries in them a little but left the rest of the place pretty much unchanged. Its the usual coffee shop selection of lattes, mochas, and enough caramelly and hot and cold options to keep you coming back. There is also a drive thru that I've never taken advantage of (I like to walk inside whenever possible). Its a good product. I'm not sure if I'll keep coming back when I come to town, but I probably will on most occasions. The staff was friendly so no issues there. I liked Coffeesmiths alot and wished it was still around. This will do since I refuse to darken the door of a Starbucks.

I dared to ask if they have a Joghurt parfait, or fruit bowl/cup or anything without meat. Nope, but 'we can take the meat off'. Something all vegetarians & vegans LOVE hearing! The party I met up with experienced the same lack of attention ordering her coffee prior me, complaining she had to repeat herself several times. Rest assure our next meeting (we ended up being 6 people) will be at another venue next time.

In Iowa I usually get overheated milk, espresso that was roasted 2 steps beyond French roast, with a nice dirt and tar aftertaste. Dunn Brothers did it right! Perfect milk temperature. I mean perfect. Possibly the best I've ever had, and I've had coffee in some of the best shops in America. The espresso was spectacularly roasted, not burned in the espresso machine, and came out exactly like I hope for when I dream of coffee. And trust me, I dream about coffee. The staff was friendly, store was clean and well kept, all the customers were happy. Overall this place just oozes happiness, which we could all use some more of these days. These guys love what they do and it show, in the store, the coffee, their attitude, and all through the experience. I can't wait to come back and test more of the menu. And let's be honest I'm going to destroy a pistachio muffin the next time I'm here, Would give 6 stars if possible, best latte I've had in years.

Most of the employees at the Blair's Ferry Starbucks this week were fine. One was so rude on my way out that I won't be back. I'm guessing they are just an unhappy person. I bought like three drinks a day and tipped $2 with each drink ("refresher", hot chocolate). I think I sat and did research twice sitting at a table. I always cleaned up if I did rarely use a table. Due to the Canada wild fires the air quality index was over 200. I was grounded, and couldn't do what I had planned this week. Four week road trips are a "whole thing". I decided right then that the fires were not ending so I abruptly changed plans. I got one last "refresher" as I would be in the car for hours. This was their tipping point for some unknown reason. I take it most customers AT THIS LOCATION use the Starbucks app, or use GrubHub. This person might be annoyed that I'm ordering in person taking up her time. I would use the Starbucks app except I shut it down after my Starbucks account got hacked. Scooters Coffee is further out, but they fit the bill. If I need internet for a moment the Kum&Go has great WiFi, and KwikStar is better for "real food".
