On my constant quest for great local coffee, Dash Coffee Roasters was my latest adventure and it does not disappoint. Located near downtown Cedar Rapids, Dash is everything you want in a coffee shop. While I enjoy a great espresso drink, the sign of a good coffee shop is their drip coffee and Dash's is outstanding. My only disappointment was they only have a 10oz cup to go. I solved that on my second visit by pulling out my travel mug and having a bit more to take with me. In addition to having a selection of pastries and sweets, Dash also offers breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and bowls. I had the So Basic sandwich which is bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. It was delightful. The service was great at Dash, with everyone being super friendly. The vibe is very relaxed with customers being encouraged to get their coffee for dine in.

Dash Coffee Roasters: A Flavorful Welcome Surprise Location: 120 3rd Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 Phone: (319) 423-9297 Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Dash Coffee Roasters is more than just your average local coffee shop; it's an experience that blends passion for brewing quality coffee and bringing together community. Here's why I think you'll fall in love with this cozy spot: Thoughtfully Sourced Coffee: Dash roasters and staff clearly take pride in thier locally roasted seasonal coffees. Their current "fresh bloom" seasonal blend, lives up to its promise, with enchanting pomegranate and tea-like notes. Ambiance: Step inside and feel the chill vibes. The intimate atmosphere invites you to unwind after a busy day from the simple decorations to the mason jar coffee mugs wrapped in a leather koozie. Grey walls and modern decor create a contemporary haven for coffee lovers. Service with a Smile: The staff at Dash Coffee Roasters are attentive and friendly. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, they'll make you feel right at home either chatting you up or leaving you alone to work depending on your preference. Focaccia Bun Magic: The Focaccia bun--which tasted as if it was baked by early morning "Time to Make the Donut" workers--pairs well with the breakfast sammies and your coffee perfectly. It was a delightful surprise that warmed both heart & palate. Spoon Slurp Approved: Dash's coffee passes the spoon slurp test with flying colors. What's that, you ask? Well, it's a delightful ritual where coffee tasters (or snob like me) aerate the coffee by slurping it from a spoon to taste the full flavor profile of the coffee without any additional flavorings. This allows you to fully appreciate the nuanced flavors of the bean and the artistic hand of the roasters process. Whether you prefer it black or with a dash of cream or sugar, this brew at Dash caters to your taste buds. So next time you're in downtown Cedar Rapids, follow the aroma to this hidden gem.

In town craving a nice pour sesh. And I had done some research, this place had a buzz. The roaster was on staff and I asked for a pour for here for 3, and the place did not disappoint, excellent pour and I got a bag to bring home to SoCal. Cousin and her hubby loved it and are now fans of good coffee to the point they have the proper accoutrements and are now doing proper coffee seshes.

AWESOME coffee spot in Cedar Rapids. The avacado toast was delicious and creative. It had some spices on it with just a little heat, very enjoyable. My coffee and latte were sooo so good. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. The coffee was absolutely brilliant. The taste of the beans even in a paper cup was so good. I went here a few days in a row. And next time I am in Iowa I will definitely go back. One morning I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it kept me full all day and it was delicious. Define rlly great place to go to for coffee. Not that busy so the service was quick.

I'm slowly really starting to enjoy a good coffee thanks for a couple friends. This place is relatively close to downtown, but I drove there because it was cold and I was feeling lazy. it's easy to find and well labeled. I ended up with a El Salvador pour over based on a rec from the gal working the counter. It was marvelous... ton of flavor, well balanced and a pretty good value as you end up with a good cup and a half or more of coffee. The place was clean, laid out well and had plenty of outlets and such. I saddled up, enjoyed my coffee and worked for an hour or so. The wifi was good, staff friendly and plenty of foot traffic to keep me content and not working too hard :)

Quality, yummy drinks, loved the window and view, friendly service..........................................................

Yum. Yum. Yum. From the simple and elegant menu, to the beautiful handmade pastries and steamy bagel sandwich, Dash knows what they're doing. With a super convenient location with plenty of on street parking for everyone, Dash is nestled in a quiet location, perfect for swinging in for a cup to go, or to bring your computer to get some work done. I love this place. I love the coffee. I love the food. I love the people. Definitely worth checking out if you are tired of the commercial coffee shop. Dash brings you back to what a café should really be.

This was such a nice coffee shop in the Cedar Rapids area. There was street parking, and the inside has plenty of seating. It is a great location to gather with others or work remote. They have a light but tasty food menu. And they seem to be known for their cappuccinos, as they have many on their menu and have a discounted cappuccino happy hour. This place is great, I recommend it!

The Short and Sweet: Amazing coffeehouse with VERY good food. Dash was set up perfectly to do some work or hangout. They have many sandwich and breakfast items. Loved their cold brew too.

My dad and I, him with a chai tea latte and me with a hot chocolate (only photo I had of the drinks).

A wonderful atmosphere, great drinks, and good memories. I've been going to Dash frequently for over a year now and I've never been disappointed. Their hot chocolate and chai lattes are favorites of my boyfriend and I, and they also have super cute stickers! It's a great place to catch up with friends and family passing through, take a date, or just sit on a rainy day and read. They also do cute latte art, and have good food.

Best coffee so far in cedar rapids. They roast their own beans and make great espresso.

Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, it was easy to miss from the outside, but inside it had all the charm of a classic hometown diner. Since it was early on a Friday morning, we were seated right away with no wait. Our server was cheerful, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The menu had all the diner staples you would expect, and we decided to kick things off by sharing a cinnamon roll. It came out warm with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting. A solid start to the day. I went with the Corned Beef Hash combo, which came with two eggs, hashbrowns, and the option to substitute toast for a pancake for $1.99. Easy choice. I don't drink coffee, so Diet Pepsi was my morning fuel. Yep, it is another Pepsi establishment. My vegetarian sidekick ordered a veggie omelet without onions, but when the food arrived, hot and fresh, she discovered onions had snuck in. It was no big deal. They were very apologetic and had a corrected version out quickly. We shared my pancake while we waited, which kept everyone happy. All in all, this spot delivered exactly what we needed. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and breakfast classics done right. It is a nice little gem if you are passing through or just looking for a relaxed morning bite.
