I wouldn't consider myself knowledgeable in the grand scheme of the matcha world, but I do know what I like after working as a barista and let me just say Kismet just ripped it out of the park. I visited my sister in the neighborhood and was overjoyed when I realized that Kismet was essentially sitting on top of what I must assume is a well that pumps the matcha from matcha heaven. It was so so good. Kind staff and very cool staff, great flower selection, I just loved it here and can't wait to visit my sister again so I can tap into this matcha gold mine. read more

Absolutely love this place. It is a cute locally owned coffee and flower shop. I stop by here at least once every weekend I am in town. I look forward to the Turkish Delight Latte all week. Everyone is incredibly friendly and knew my name after the first day I walked in. My only issue is that they are not open later in the day or else I would stop in immediately after work. This is a must go spot if you are in SE Cedar Rapids. You can thank me later. read more

This place is the best coffee shop in Cedar Rapids. Why 5 stars you ask? The coffee is too good and disappears in seconds. Their specialties drinks make you come back for more. Visiting from Chicago, this coffee spot was recommended to us and we loved it. We got an Americano and a Mocha, which were both made to perfection. We got a table upstairs and enjoyed the bustle of this being one of the hot spots of the Cedar Rapids coffee scene. Interesting, friendly people came and went while we sat there and we enjoyed the coffee so much we bought some whole beans to take home and grind. While we were there we struck up a number of conversations but one what was especially interesting was with "Two Dollar Dave" who lost his wife to cancer several years ago and gives a two dollar bill to anyone who supports his fundraising efforts. It was a very special conversation but it appears these kinds of connections are normal for this cute little coffee shop. We will go back and we will take more of us the next time. It is a gemstone and a wonderful way to people watch a friendly population as they caffeinate themselves against the humorless world we live in these days. read more

My husband and I had our floral arrangements done by Maya, and to say we were blown away is an understatement. The bouquet, the boutonnieres, the nest arrangements around our "alter" at our ceremony, arrangements at the reception... everything was truly impeccable. Not only the quality of the arrangements, but the love and intention behind each one was incredibly apparent. She absolutely knocked it out of the park. She and Jeremiah set up and transported all of the arrangements from the ceremony to the reception... So sneaky behind the scenes! I will hype y'all up all. day. The staff here- so friendly. I knew right away that they'd be down to chat coffee simply by peeping their unique menu. I love good coffee, straight up espresso, drip, cold brew etc. which they offered, but you steal my heart when you have lavender honey lattes, chai lattes, and some seasonal offerings like a "Turkish delight". Come to find out they also have oat milk? Now you have my full attention. Support that with a beautiful interior and the soft smell of flowers?! Well if I lived nearby they'd see me daily. Coffee + flowers + pink walls -- what's not to love?! Additionally, just really friendly & welcoming & knowledgeable about coffee, all things that also matter to me. The barista who took my order gave me 3 espresso choices & I chose something out of my comfort zone for my cappuccino -- something from Costa Rica that was delicious. If I didn't live over an hour away, I imagine I'd be here multiple times a week. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

What a beautiful addition to Cedar Rapids! I wish I could go every day. When you walk in your nose is hit with the aroma of sweet flowers and espresso. The decor is gorgeous and the shop upstairs feels like a lovely dream. The coffee is superb. I usually get a cappuccino. They give you a few choices for the espresso which not only makes me feel fancy, it proves to be one of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. My daughter begs to go to the "flower coffee shop" every weekend. She gets the crunch berry latte sans espresso. The baristas are welcoming and knowledgeable. After coffee, we look around the shop upstairs. The florist has a true talent. I also like chatting with her! My one hope is that they will eventually have baked goods. I know that the space is small and this could be a challenge. In the meantime I'll settle for a donut from next door. The owners obviously had a vision of a whimsical coffee/flower shop and they delivered. read more
