Great casual cafe to sip on your favorite drink and eat some good bites while in good company. Their prices are reasonable. The biscuit egg cheese and ham sandwich was a tasty light breakfast sandwich. They also have tons of drink flavors to choose from if you are into that but I stuck with my no flavor added type of coffee drink, which was a warm latte on this cold winters day. My friends enjoyed their breakfast burritos and drinks as well. As their name implies 'good vibes' all around! Only complaint is they need more space for seating. read more

Superb food - fresh and delicious - served in a small town. Whenever I'm passing through Solon for work, I try to treat myself to the Turkey bacon sandwich from here. I recently tried their breakfast sandwich on cinnamon bread, and it just may be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted. The service was also excellent. read more

The coffee was excellent (although we had to wait about 15 minutes for it to cool down!) and we decided to grab a breakfast burrito and Belgian waffle on a whim. The ham & swiss sandwich was tasty (the ham was DELICIOUS) and came out quickly, though it was a bit pricey. This place has been in Solon since 2018, thats right, pre-Covid. It has somehow been off my radar for the last 5 years. I received a gift card from a neighbor, so in I strolled with the Mrs. last Monday. Had no idea, so I ordered a breakfast burrito and a sausage egg cheese biscuit. Cup of black coffee. The burrito rivaled a Pachero's in size, stuffed with eggs, sausage,cheese and tator tots! Toasted on the grill finished this burrito to perfection, and it was all anyone would have needed. But of course, I also went with a biscuit sammy.... Eggs piled miraculously high on a sausage patty and covered with melted cheese on a perfectly browned flaky biscuit. Excellent brewed black coffee, had me heading home to return to bed.... Service was unending smiles, get this place on your to-do list! read more

What an adorable coffee shop in Solon! Located next to Big Grove and in the heart of downtown this spot offers a variety of delicious and unique lattes, all the standards you love, and a great selection of teas if coffee isn't your thing. Prices are about average for what coffee costs around here, but the breakfast sandwiches are a steal coming in just under $3-4 depending on what you get. They also have a variety of freshly baked sweet treats (muffins, bars, cheesecake squares) and serve waffles. The interior is adorably modern and colorful. Definitely both adult and kid friendly. Not super quiet, but not too loud either - you could easily work in here if you're good with some ambient sound or have a pair of headphones. Had the Americano this time and loved the espresso. Everything came out quickly and the young women working behind the counter were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Check it out! read more

Power out at home. Peggy and I went into town for lunch. Good Vibes has been open about one year. How sad, we didn't try this gem soonest. Missed a lot of great meals. The staff is Iowa charm all the way. Peggy had hot ham and cheese. I had the hot beef sandwich with buffalo chicken soup which was great, but a little to spicy for me. I went into the shop for a coffee. I asked for the coffee and they impolitely asked me for a tip. Moreover I couldn't pay touchlessly. They required either cash or a credit card and required me to give them a card if I paid by card. In these modern times you expect to pay with your phone and especially during a pandemic touch-less paying is MANDATORY. But what does this place care about anyway? The shop was packed with people and many were not wearing masks or social distancing. I wouldn't go to this coffee shop again if we are still in the pandemic, especially as Covid variants increase in prevalence. The coffee was ok. read more

The coffee was so so, I didn't drink much of it and threw it out. I don't like being asked if I want to leave a tip because it puts you on the spot. You shouldn't have to ask me for a tip, I will leave one if I feel it's justified. Also, when I talked about a flavor they didn't have, the owner said she had never had anyone request it before. Instead of being different and embracing it, she just had all the run of the mill basic flavors. She also was pretty snotty and rude when she said that to me. I also was never offered a receipt. Good Vibes is my absolute favorite coffee shop. The owners are so, so friendly and have done an incredible job, especially through the pandemic. I'm always greeted with a smile, the coffee is always fantastic, and I like that they will serve all my seasonal favorites, even during the off season (if they have the supplies). I would never expect them to have some random flavor if it isn't listed on their EXTENSIVE menu. I'm an ADULT, so I have no problem giving cash or handing them my card to pay. I don't feel like they HAVE to have touchless options just because I like using touchless. But I do love their online order system when I forget my wallet! As an ADULT, I also have no problem tipping or saying "no thank you" when they ask. I completely understand them not wanting everyone else's grubby hands and germs all over their tablet. They keep the inside clean and decorate seasonally which makes me feel so cozy when I go in. I hope other adults also enjoy Good Vibes as much as I do, rather than the rude children who have left bad reviews.
