Pad See Ew
Alicia C.

The food is delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I got the pad see mao and pad see ew this time. The pad see mao had a more bold tangy taste while the pad see ew was more nutty. The servers are very kind and attentive. The interior was brightly lit and clean.

Pad See Ew with pork

Tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Yellow Curry Chicken, Thai Fried rice, Pad Kee Mao, and Khao Moo Dang Moo Krob. Pad Thai - One of the better Pad Thais I've had. The noodles were coated with sweet sauce. Another noticeable flavor was tamarind which I think tasted like combination of apple sauce and molasses without the sour note. Chose shrimp as protein. There were 5 big succulent shrimp. They also included lots of fried tofu pieces. Pad See Ew - really good too. Every single noodle was coated with the sweet soy gravy. Also perfect amount of garlic without being bitter. Chose pork as protein. The thin slices of pork was so tender and tasty with the same sweet soy flavor. Definitely had umami. Pad Kee Mao - this dish had so many layers of flavor. It is similar to Pad See Ew with the noodles coated with slightly sweet gravy but with added herby basil and spicy peppercorn flavor. Chose beef for the protein which was also very tender and well seasoned. Thai Fried Rice- love the smokey flavor of the work hei. It's like eating morsels of rice that had been grilled vs fried. Chose pork as protein. But somehow it had a slight chicken flavor. Also liked that it's not oily. So yummy! Khao Moo Dang Moo Krob- this dish had both crispy fried slices of pork belly and the red BBQ pork slices. I've asked to have the sauces on the side instead of mixing with the meat. One sauce was sweet soy sauce with a little hint of what I thought was tamarind. The other sauce reminded me of sweet chili sauce but thicker. Also came with a mound of white rice. The pork belly had a crispy skin layer, a buttery fat layer flavor, and a slightly salty lean layer. Not too fatty. Loved it with the soy dipping sauce. The red BBQ pork reminded me of chashu pork that's used as filling for pork buns but a lot less sweet and with a very slight five space flavor. It appeared dry but was actually tender. Yellow Curry Chicken- sweet, a little spicy. To me it tasted like a blend of ginger lemongrass and garlic flavor and creamy almost nutty coconut flavor. It had carrots and potato chunks. Good too. Thai tea was not too sweet and had mild spiced flavor. I've been here twice in one week from the 2nd day of grand opening. Consistenly good. Staff was very welcoming especially the guy who was there on Friday evenings. He was very personable. Only downside was the $5 price on soda. Dining room was bright, very clean, comfortable with relaxed ambiance. It was a dining experience from really good food to a welcoming staff. Highly recommend.

Mango Pandan Sticky Rice

Crispy pork, bbq pork, Chinese sausage with rice was very filling and satisfying. The pandan rice was flavorful... and was a good match with the mango ice cream The egg roll was just so-so, I dont think I will be ordering again. You should go and try their food... they also have a 10% discount throughout the month of October accdg to one of their staff.

Had a wonderful experience at Sticky Rice Thai. I believe they just opened & we were staying at a nearby hotel. We ordered takeout at around 8:30pm on a Saturday night and they seemed pretty busy despite being new! The prices were very reasonable & we were quoted 25 minutes and the food was ready right on time. Ambiance of restaurant was quite nice. Looks very clean and servers were very nice. I would recommend if you're in the area or staying in a nearby hotel!

Crispy Rice Salad (Nam Khao Tod)

Overall, food is good. Staff are friendly and kind. There's a parking garage in the building. It's located next to The Second Wife, an Indian buffet that I also enjoy. The duck lychee curry and crab fried rice were two of my favorites of the night. There were big chunks of real crab meat in the fried rice just like how it's served in Thailand. The curry sauce for the duck was very good. I also like how the duck skin was crisp on the outside but the meat was moist and tender inside. This was well executed. The Nam Khao Tod was acceptable. The Crying Tiger was also well executed in terms of tenderness of the steak - dipping sauce for this dish was standard. The Pad Prik Khing was good. I've had better elsewhere but still solid in flavor. There was a slight char/smokiness to the protein (chicken) in this dish that I found quite enjoyable. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. They are just starting out and still need to work on logistics. Food needs to come out a little quicker. The flow needs to be a little smoother. For example, seat your customers if there are several open tables rather than letting a crowd build at the entrance. It's all about timing and flow which occurs naturally with practice once a restaurant has been in business for a while. They will get there. I'll be back in a few months, and by then I'm sure service will flow like clockwork. That's when I'll bump up my rating to 5 stars.

FINALLY! A restaurant with true Thai flavors has opened!! Was so happy to dine at Sticky Rice Thai. Their service was fast and welcoming. Our overall experience was 10/10 as the restaurant is clean, with happy staff, and delicious food. We can't wait to come back for more!

Here again!! We LOVE sticky rice. Miles was very attentive and helpful even though they were packed! Our favorite is always the duck kao soi, so delicious. Kana pork belly is amazing with rice, salad is always refreshing and nam kao tasted just right. Clean and bright atmosphere and no wait! They have a large space so they can take big groups! We finished off with mango sticky rice of course and had a perfect dinner. Will definitely we coming back! Wishing them success!!

"Everything we ordered was delicious! The papaya salad was fresh, spicy, and full of flavor. The Tod Mun Goong (Thai shrimp cakes) were crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned. Grill pork jowl was tender, juicy, and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the Yum Woon Sen--it was fresh, tangy, and had the perfect balance of flavors. For dessert, we had the panna cotta brûlée with vanilla ice cream. It was creamy, smooth, and delicious, with a nice caramelized topping. The vanilla ice cream paired perfectly with the panna cotta. It was the perfect way to finish the meal!" I really enjoyed the meal service so good and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!"

Stopped by for a Friday lunch today and had the Penang Curry and Thai iced tea with almond milk! It was so delicious and service was nice and so as well as the ambience. Was nice meeting you, Tom! I will be soon to try other dishes

Sticky Rice is by far one of the best Thai restaurants I've tried so far and I will definitely be going back. They are right next to the airport and have plenty of parking which made it super convenient! My favorites were the crispy duck khao soi and their Thai boat noodles! The flavors were screaming authentic and hitting all the notes. With a variety of items on their menu I need to come back multiple times to try everything out! The restaurant had a cozy feel with friendly and attentive servers. Be sure to check them out!

I asked while pointing to my Pixel Wings, "Are these wings double-fried?"…read more My waiter gave an emphatic, "Yes!" The Pixel Wings were deeply golden, with crunchy ridges that were audibly crisp. The chicken wings were adorably small, but every wing was crunch-worthy, with tender, juicy meat inside. Paired with the bright, chili-flecked house sauce, this small plate left a big impression! This was the second time my husband and I visited Must Be Thai. The other times we attempted to come here, the restaurant was packed, and we had to go somewhere else. This time, we found a nice window of opportunity for a Monday lunch. I enjoy this restaurant because it has a unique way of organizing its menu, emphasizing the regions of Thailand from which the dishes originate. It encouraged my husband and me to explore something new on the menu, as though we were traveling to that region ourselves. Besides the Pixel Wings, we traveled to Southeast Thailand to try The Ex Rockfish. The presentation was wonderfully dramatic. The whole rockfish arrived opened and deep-fried, curving around the bowl while a colorful tumble of buttery pieces of fish and peppers filled the center. A zesty green dipping sauce was also provided to cut through the richness of the dish. Pair that with a bowl of jasmine rice and some Thai iced tea and *chef's kiss*. This was a dish we had never tried before, and I'm glad our waitress recommended it! Another thing I enjoy about this restaurant is the youthful cheekiness of its ambiance. The dining room has a playful, urban-industrial aesthetic softened by warm wood and light colors. It feels both relaxing and energetic. The mural boasts a chaotic depiction of what appears to be a tuk-tuk and Godzilla fighting off some durian. The menu has a similar vibe. Despite all this playfulness, they don't mess around when it comes to food quality. Friendly service, great food, and a fun ambiance - we'll be coming back for more!

The good -service was excellent even with a smile. Parking is easy too…read moreThe bad- food is lacking in almost every way. Fresh spring rolls with shrimp we're served instantly which is always a sign they've been prepared and sitting in the fridge therefore clear wrap is hard and not soft as it should be. Patay with chicken okay but lacked in flavor. Tom yum fried rice extremely salty. In fact I couldn't eat it. The shrimp and calamari in it were okay and not salty like the rice. I ate here 2 years ago and wasn't impressed then, but my friend wanted to go here so I thought I'd give it another try. Never again. I will stick to the Thai restaurants I know.

It is the kind of place that you line up to order and are given a number to take to your choice of open tables. There were several people in front of us and it did take longer than we thought it would. But the delay was because people were all chatting and asking questions of the staff. Not in anyway delayed because of the staff. They are very friendly and attend to each customer fully in their turn. The taps are VERY unique and they will offer you a taste of their special brews. My wife got a sour and enjoyed it. I played it safer and got a ca of cider, which was delicous. For food we share a salad and and veggie burger. Both were good. The food takes a few minutes. So don't expect fast-food. This is a slow food place that makes ever item to order and tastes like it. Everything we had was very good. Note - This is a vegetarian restaurant that offer vegan options too. So, you need to know that going in. If you're in the area I recommend this place.
