We dined in the windmill, our own space, which gave the vibe a more personal and romantic vibe. We were given a suggestion to write on the walls, as it was already filled with others love notes & memories. It which was so neat and made our dinner experience feel adventurous. The server, I believe her name was April, was very sweet and attentive. She surprised us with a dessert that had a sparkling candle , resembling a sparkler firework. Our faces lit up with excitement as the server happily took pictures for us. It was definitely the perfect final touch to our dining experience. With curiosity of wanting to know more about this restaurant, we asked questions about the history and back story. The lady that helped us, gave us the opportunity to take a quick tour, with information that allowed us to feel more connected to and appreciative of this business. My husband and I left full & satisfied with confidence that this place is our new favorite spot for any special occasion.

I get the sense that I'll be a repeat customer after having just such an experience. Aside from the smile, I saw a restaurant that's clean and inviting. But that only covers me walking in the door. Let me just jump to the food. I got 20 wings, bone in, breaded. They were made fresh and handed over steaming hot in an aluminum tray (they were meaty and delicious). I also got a cheeseburger, which was just loaded with toppings in the best way; nothing fancy, just a burger that you can't put down, half because it's so good, half because it's best to keep it all contained in your hands. It's great to see this restaurant here and I look forward to stopping in again soon to try even more options.

A Disastrous Dining Experience…read more After months of anticipation, the grand opening finally arrived. Eager to experience the hype, my family and I placed an order, expecting a culinary adventure to rival the best Chicago has to offer. Unfortunately, our dining experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The first red flag was the missing items from our order. Despite being ordered directly from their website, these items weren't simply overlooked, they knew they didn't have any suggesting a lack of attention to detail and potentially poor organization within the restaurant. However, the most alarming issue was the under-cooked food. The bone-in chicken was served raw and bloody, posing a serious health risk. It was a shocking oversight that could have had dire consequences. Even the boneless wings, which should have been a safer option, contained bone fragments large enough to cause injury. The flavor profile of the dishes was equally disappointing. The mac and cheese, a comfort food staple, was bland and lacked any discernible seasoning. In fact, most of the food seemed under-seasoned, leaving a muted and unsatisfying taste. It's disheartening to witness a new restaurant with such potential fall short in such a fundamental way. While I understand the challenges of opening a new business, it's crucial to prioritize food safety and quality. Serving under-cooked food is not only unacceptable but also dangerous. I hope that this restaurant takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes to improve their food preparation and service. It's essential to invest in proper training for kitchen staff and establish rigorous quality control measures. As a customer, I expect to receive food that is not only safe but also delicious. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I urge others to exercise caution when considering dining here until they can consistently deliver a quality product.
