Sushi in the UK? absolutely!
sushi that's decently priced? highly unlikely.
Sticks N Sushi? not cheap but a hefty selection soo it's the best spot in my opinion.
located in Cambridge, just across the street from the Corn Exchange, my husband and i stumbled upon them accidentally after making a wrong turn leaving Oseyo to head back to our car. after browsing the wall menu outside, we decided to make reservations for the following weekend to try it out!
Honestly i think we spent a good 20 minutes browsing the menu to make our choices. and they were all top notch!
appetizers: wagyu bites and beef tataki.
skewer: gyu habi x2.
main course: kaburimaki plate for 2- hell's kitchen, ceviche, ebi panko and shake aioli rolls.
drinks: sendai sunset, soda and water.
dessert: white chocolate panna cotta.
overall, everything was delicious and exceptionally fresh. the servers were fantastic, even with how busy it was, they kept up with all of their tables and we never waited long if we needed something or wanted to order more.
i can't really find any downside besides the price, and that's just a personal thing but for me it is worth the one star reduction. if you want amazing sushi, unique cocktails and delicious wagyu tartare bites -- Sticks N' Sushi is your place. they're a small chain so they're got a couple of locations, including one in London, so if you're craving delicious rolls, there's probably one close by. definitely recommend trying them out at least once (^_^)
oh and parking? it's around the corner from the Grand Arcade and Lion Yard, so the parking garage there is where you'd park so tons of parking that you don't have to worry about hunting for in the middle of Cambridge, woohoo! read more
