I need these postcards printed for a small cupsleeve event tomorrow, and Niazi quickly responded to…read moreme! He also offered several paper types along with the prints after hearing my request. I'm very happy of how the postcards turned out to be exactly similar to my artwork! At first, sincr my artwork has a lot of textured brushes (to mimic fake risograph prints), I'm worried the prints are gonna bleed or smudge the textures, but it doesn't! Additionally, he also talked about the laser printer used to print these postcards! He also offer really good value for the postcards for each piece when I'm trying to compare them with other printing shops, and he offered me a really good deal. I highly recommend this printing shop for anyone, especially for artists!

Printed. I designed them on Canva, but needed them printed (like real trading cards). I called Z and from the first phone call, he was pleasantly helpful. After a couple of back and forth emails, he had them off to print. I picked up within a week of our first conversation and was blown away at the final product. Exceeding my expectations, truly. Z was able to help me make each of our 12 players their own card, which I then packaged as a team set and gave each player within a homemade/DIY sleeve. I will definitely be using him again and again for my printing needs. (Picture is of our final packaging, which were printed at Staples).

The rewards system was a learning process. First, you need a Staples account. Recommend downloading the app. Each ink cartridge you recycle gains you 500 pts. That rate's allowed for up to 6 cartridges per month. After that, it's 100 pts per cartridge in the same month. (So I should've saved my 7th cartridge onwards for next month). Staples website/app doesn't clearly tell you that 200 pts = $1. (That means each cartridge gave me $2.50) (And my 3200 pts translated to $16. And 9 cartridges gets $16.50.) - Staples should just do 100 pts = $1 for simplicity. And clearly declare the exchange rate on their website & app. + The associate was right, the points became usable within 10min. Yippee! . Staples' webpage on their rewards seems outdated. [ https://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/products/perm/18384_sambenefits_update/g10.html?KPSI=1 ] The contradictions I found: . $2.50/ink (not $2 per). . up to 6 per month (not up to 20 per). . "Minimum purchase requirement must be met." False. . No different membership options, like choosing between Premier Gold Member and something else. It's just one rewards program. . Rewards are issued within 10mins (NOT "monthly"), thank goodness. May '24: tl,dr: Interesting office supplies, but not the best layout. Likes: + I like that I can make a quick drive here from work to find just about any office supply I may need. + Polite, helpful staff. + Their Amazon locker uses Bluetooth technology for our convenience. Non-likes: - I really didn't like the Amazon locker placing strategy of this store. It was placed very inconveniently in the far back corner of this big store. Meaning, one would have to walk all the way back there just to make a quick pick-up. - There were no signs indicating where to find the Amazon locker. I had to ask the cashier for directions. Further inconvenience for the general customer, like if the cashier was unavailable. I wish they put the Amazon locker by the store front entrance.

I even found some of this pink cleaning stuff that was viral on social media a while back. I also found frixion pens that are similar to the Zen themed pens Pilot released recently. I'm not a graphic designer, so I was specifically looking for that human touch and guidance you would expect from working with a local print shop rather than simply ordering online. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I couldn't really be helped. I was told they don't print individual samples, so to see a card in a particular style I would need to order 100 cards for $100+. If I wanted raised printing or foil, I would also need to provide the files separately, and the only foil options available were silver or gold. There was only one person in the office when I came in, and I got the impression that they primarily handle the printing rather than helping with the actual design or setup. I was repeatedly encouraged to just place the order online, which was disappointing because the entire reason I came in person was to work with someone who could help me make sure everything looked right before spending $100+ on cards. I'm honestly pretty desperate to get this task off my plate, so this would have been a very easy sale. I was ready to move forward and pay for the service, but if I don't feel confident or comfortable with the process, it's hard to justify placing the order. It's unfortunate because so many things have gone completely digital now, and sometimes you just want to walk into a local business, talk to a person, and get a little hands-on help.
