Well, we visited the Ethnic Enrichment Festival apparently at the same time as every single other Kansas Citian, which meant massive sun baked lines that no one had the patience for. So Yelp came in handy as we found this spot over at 85th and Wornall, somewhat hidden in the strip center. The staff was pretty slammed but was friendly and did a good job getting everyone taken care of. To be honest, sno cones aren't my main thing, but I liked the Pina Colada one with coconut cream and most importantly, my daughter liked hers as well. They also don't skimp on the flavors/syrups, and have a handy ice catcher rim around the cups. Appreciate this spot for coming in clutch for us and turning a tantrum around!

The Sancho is a messy beast with it's soft flour tortilla packed to the brim with everything that you would find in a burrito - taco meat, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and sauce. "The Thing" is a beautiful thing! It is basically a tostado topped with ground beef, onion sauce and a mountain of melty cheese. All three of these menu items would be 5 stars even if you were forced to eat them with Taco Bell sauce, but Taco Via has their own sauce that you can dispense from a pump at the drink station. I found myself sipping the sauce between bites and realized then that I must buy a container to take home with me. I plan on using liberal amounts of it on a taco salad at home tomorrow evening.
