By that afternoon (Saturday mind you) Rachel had emailed me a mock up as well as pricing. Their pricing was competitive and I was curious on the DTS printing. I was so impressed and was ready to pull the trigger when the company I usually use finally responded to my office manager. Calmer heads prevailed so unfortunately we went with our present t shirt printer because we wanted to keep the shirt colors and printing the same. All of her designs are based on things from the āina such as kalo, kupukupu, lauae, liko, ōhia lehua, and more. She primarily prints women's clothing and accessories (v-neck shirts, tank tops, scarves, etc), but she also does a limited stock of men's clothing as well. Last year I provided Aunty Zennie with a collared black shirt and requested a liko print, and I was super stoked with how it came out. Every time I wear the shirt, I get lots of compliments, and I tell people it's one of a kind! She recently did a copper colored print of kalo on a dark gray shirt for me, and I'm stoked to wear it once the stay-at-home order is lifted. Aunty Zennie mostly does small craft fairs, but she also posts her stock to Instagram and Facebook and can be contacted on those platforms for orders.
