All of her designs are based on things from the āina such as kalo, kupukupu, lauae, liko, ōhia lehua, and more. She primarily prints women's clothing and accessories (v-neck shirts, tank tops, scarves, etc), but she also does a limited stock of men's clothing as well. Last year I provided Aunty Zennie with a collared black shirt and requested a liko print, and I was super stoked with how it came out. Every time I wear the shirt, I get lots of compliments, and I tell people it's one of a kind! She recently did a copper colored print of kalo on a dark gray shirt for me, and I'm stoked to wear it once the stay-at-home order is lifted. Aunty Zennie mostly does small craft fairs, but she also posts her stock to Instagram and Facebook and can be contacted on those platforms for orders. Do not go here. The owner was very disinterested in helping with creating my t shirts. As soon as I…read moreentered the store, he was texting on his phone the entire time and did not make eye contact with me or ask me questions about what I needed. I asked him to create 5 simple heat press t shirts and he did not do any of them at all. He did not call or message me throughout the week and was very unresponsive and was impossible to get a hold of. I went to retrieve my shirts after giving him 1 week, and he said that he was sick and could not make it into work that day. And not once in those 7 days he could contact me saying he was not able to do my shirts. Leaving me with ZERO shirts. I understand that someone can get sick and be under the weather, but if you're not able to do something for a customer that you promised, please contact that customer and tell them what is going on instead of leaving them with no idea of what is happening. I drove from Waimea (1 hour away) to pick up these shirts and the least you could do is give me a phone call and give me time to find someone else who could carry out what you could not do. Oh yeah, that same day that he said he was at home sick, he was actually on Facebook Live singing. So much for honesty and professionalism.
