You want a true local pub then this is it. Its not big and there is no parking as its in a neighborhood. Our server had an Irish lilt and the wit to match. Awesome. I've always drive by this place and I never set foot until today. This place is so awesome, right off the bat I get yelled at by this wonderful Irish lady not to call her ma'm. Her name is Ann!! She was great took our order and was also our bartender then off to the kitchen to make our meals. The drinks were fantastic the draft we got were all fresh. The food was so delicious even the pickles were fresh. I would definitely come back here for more food and definitely more drinks. Burgers were made to order, huge juicy burgers! The place is great. I expected traditional so so bar food and was very pleased that it was more like a home made meal. Its a good meal for a reasonable price and you can be comfortable with jeans and flip flops. Burgers are not frozen flat patties, they are terrific. If you like onion rings you must try, this are delish. The on to dessert, a little homemade family traditional pie that the owner Anne makes herself call Banoffi is AMAZING... toffee and bananas...its a must try. WeI went to Stewart's pub last night for the first time. During COVID we are being careful where we eat so we decided to go early to avoid any crowd that might come later. The tables are spread out well, Everyone wears a mask, Hand sanitizers throughout the establishment, and when another party left their table, the server immediately wiped down the table and chairs completely.. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a full bar with very reasonably priced drinks and a long list of beers on Tap and in the Bottle. We ordered the Hummus plate to start. A large selection of vegetables, Pita bread and chips, and a large portion of hummus which was very tasty. We both got burgers (Mine with cheese). They were very good. I had the regular fries which were like steak fries and the other had the sweet potato fries. As much as I like regular fries, I have to say the sweet potato fries were excellent. We shared a piece of homemade lemon tart for dessert which was delicious. It felt good to support a small local business during these times and that it turned out to be a very good experience and so reasonably priced it will surely be a place we return to soon. read more

So so so good. Consistently great food (specifically the buffalo wings, steak tips and grilled salmon!) and a really nice place to go. It's a local bar and not intended to be fancy, just meant to do what they do very well. Anytime my husband and I don't feel like cooking at home we stop by or order food to pick up. The staff could use a little extra help, so don't expect instant service, but they are courteous even with special requests and you will be impressed with their work ethic and genuine desire to make you happy. I like to play darts and have a couple pints before devouring one of their awesome Woodlawn burgers. The food is exactly what you want, from expertly fried chicken fingers, creative and juicy burgers, or generous and fresh salads. You've gotta try their Irish nachos made with homemade chips. Decent beer selection on draft and bottles, and a full bar. Ask for an authentic Irish coffee! Like I always try to do is leave a short but to the point review. This pub is what it is a pub. It has good service and good food (bar food mind you) a good selection of beer and a few flat screens. What more to love of a bar, o and most of the customers are easy to talk to. And on nice warm days they open those huge windows in the front. Why I didn't rate it with more stars? Because tho the customers are easy to talk to their kinda old, witch I would prefer younger, and their menu isn't too big. But it's great for Everett. read more

I visited Stewart's Bar for the first time last week as I had heard about the food there.I must say that I have never tasted Steak Tips like theirs before. They were devine!!!!!! Forget the A1 sauce here folks they don't need anything they are so full of flavour. My co worker had the Bluecheese Burger which he totally finished. We had a few cocktails afterwards which were the perfect end to a satisfying meal. The staff were very curteous, friendly and very efficient. I live in Everett where Stewart's is located. When my baby sister got very sick and was in the hospital for a very long period. The word of her story got out from the news channel. Stewart's pub started a fundraiser for her without even knowing my family. That meant the world to us and showed how great they truly are. Awesome people! Highly recommend Stewart's pub. read more

After we did so, we weren't handed a menu, and, at 9:30PM, we were informed that the grill was off and they would only serve appetizers. I went to Stewart's tonight and was thoroughly impressed with the authenticity of the pub and its landlord, Joe. The place is clean, attractive and appropriately lighted, with three televisions. Joe is also the cook so it took a while for me to even see him, but he was a gracious, friendly, and convivial host. Saturdays are quiet, surprisingly, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays being much busier. The Steak Tips ($12, with fries and a salad) were beyond a doubt the absolute best I've ever had in the area -- and I'm including Silvertone. A very mild tab, too. He called a cab for me and recalled when I was waiting for a bit. A genuine find, great location, superb food and drink and you won't go broke when you're just trying to have a fun night out. I wish this were my neighborhood, but it's even worth taking a bus to (#110, or the #111 is nearby). Go! read more

Stewart's is simply fantastic. As soon as you walk in, you feel welcome and at home. Anne or Joe (the husband-wife team of owners) are amazingly friendly and will remember your name and favorite drink when you come back again (which I'm sure you'll do, this place is great!). They are both charming, friendly and very knowledgeable and are fun to have a chat with. Parking is on-street only, and can be a bit annoying, but TOTALLY worth looking for a spot. They have good TVs for watching the game and a friendly crowd. It is easy to strike up a conversation with any of the patrons or bartenders... a very fun place! This is the PERFECT neighborhood bar, I wish I lived closer... I would stop in every day if I could!! The food is also phenomenal. Joe is VERY picky in selecting his produce and meats/fish and a perfectionist when it comes to cooking everything perfectly. I highly recommend the fish and chips or the fried scallops and chips... SO fresh and incredible. They are eager to please and will happily customize any order (want salad instead of fries? No Problem!). Anne also makes INCREDIBLE homemade desserts, when you go, ask what she's made for that day. And for you beer lovers out there... Joe pours the perfect pint of Guinness and has a wide selection of tasty drinks. So I agree that Stewarts is a great local pub.....we have eaten and drank there on many occasions and have had an awesome time, and the food was great. It seems to be a family owned pub run by a husband and a wife. The husband, has been nothing but awesome when we are there, doesn't put up with any nonsense (as I saw a group of 20 get kicked out for something not so serious in my opinion - but I was glad to see the large group leave), but he has been great to me and my fiance and nice when I have gone in with friends. But what makes me give his joint a bad rating is the other 1/2 that operates it. The wife (I am assuming she is the wife) runs the bar on some nights, along with another gentleman, is easily one of the rudest bar tenders/managers I have ever encountered in my life. The first time, she was just plain rude and was acting as if our presence there was bothering her....we are damn near 30....and are quiet professionals stopping in for a drink, so any assumption she might have made about us - was completely wrong. On another occassion - I stopped in with a group of people, bringing this woman some business and the service was terrible, we were once again looked at because we weren't the "regulars" and my friend opened a window (this was in August) as it was warm in there - and the woman came from behind the bar, and just closed the window, without even saying anything....there were whispers and comments between her and the people at the bar and the other bartender - and we were just really uncomfortable, so we just left....it wasn't worth the time or money....I promised not to return there - and I haven't - which I was bummed about because like I said - it's a great bar, great food, and the husband with his brogue is easily one of the nicest guys out there. read more

There is something to be said for a place that gets the little things right. Usually these things add up and set the place apart from other local competition. Stewart's Pub is one of these places. The Steak Tips are the best you will get, perfectly marinaded and grilled with stand-out tenderness and flavor (Newbridge? That's so last decade.) The fish and chips are a keeper - who can argue with golden fried cod in beer batter? The salads a simple but fresh, the onion rings are perfect and the Long Island Iced Teas are made the right way, without being loaded down with sour mix. Burgers are big, the desserts, when available, are downright shocking for a Pub and there is more whiskey that you could shake a stick at. The quality beers are on tap (Sam/Guiness/Molson/Blue Moon/Smithwicks and others), but you Bud/Miller/Coors folks can still be accommodated out of the floor fridge. The vibe is right on, with the wood plank flooring, the grand stained bar and the tin panel ceilings. The outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying a cold on on a nice summer day, but sitting just inside the 10 foot tall windows is almost as good when it rains. Internet jukebox (you could listen to every pavement album!!), high-def TV/sporting events, darts, and good company - what more would you be looking for?? Stewart's Pub isn't trying to be something it's not, it's just the perfected form of a neighborhood Pub. These are the kind of places that are missing these days. read more
