absolutely horrible service. My son was in an auto accident which required hospitalization. His dad spent days trying to run around to get letters notarize and a power of attorney from the DMV every time he would show up they would require something else. He had to get a letter notarized for him to be able to remove the belongings for my son they would not let him get the brand new stereo he put in nor take pictures for our attorney that was working on our case. Then he went back over with the same letter and the pink slip so that we could sell the totaled vehicle to pick a part to pay the towing expense and they told him they could not allow him to remove the vehicle since the letter did not have vin # on it. They would not allow him to add the vin. We had to show up again the next day with the notary to get this handled. 3 days and 2 different expenses for a notary to deal with this all while we were worrying about our son that was in ICU no compassion or professionalism. this was my 2nd experience with this company the first time I was broke down on freeway at night and they would not give me a ride from the auto shop that we had my car towed to. It was around 9pm dark starting to rain and I lived 6 miles away and was wearing my office closes so I was not dressed warm. these guys have no class. Horrible read more

Haven't dealt with such a horrible company in years. Owner or at least manager was discussingly rude and most of all extremely unethical to shack down hundreds of dollar on us after an already agreed upon price. We already had left or truck and was on the way to mechanic when we got the call. Pay up or we leave your truck on the side of freeway. We are in our late 70s and on a very very very tight budget. my wife in tears me extremely angry we had to agree to pay. We called police and found out they had broken a few laws. So onto the next few steps we have to take, and we are. What a horrible company, everyone we have spoken to today was discussed. read more

Back in October, our pick up truck had an oil leak in front of our residence (not in our driveway). AAA's new policy was to not cover expenses if the vehicle is at the person's residence. The AAA representative did not inform us, so we waited for the tow truck. So, when the tow truck driver came, he informed us that it would cost us $80 just to tow the pick up 7 feet back into the driveway. We were late leaving for a trip to Arizona and we were very frustrated with AAA for not informing us of their new policy. The truck driver took pity on us and moved the truck back to our driveway as a courtesy -no charge. This act of kindness was noted and appreciated. read more

Steve's showed up in response to my call to AAA, who had quoted me 30 minutes for them to arrive. I received an immediate call from Steve's, advising me they would be there in 15-20 minutes, and the driver showed up within 5 minutes. They quickly determined it was my battery (which I had suspected) and they replaced it and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes from my call to AAA. Superb service, friendly driver ... all around a really great experience. read more

I want to thank Gabriel from Steve's Towing for being so wonderful. I locked my keys in the trunk of my car. Gabriel came and opened the doors for me so I could get into the trunk. He was working on truck with a flat tire and had another call to go to that was already waiting for him and he was told to help me anyway. He was a blessing for me. His personality and professionalism were great. He was very friendly and calmed me down in this stressful situation. Would recommend Gabriel and Steve's towing to anyone. read more

Steve's was sent to my house by AAA because I had a dead battery in my electric car. The driver Kenny stayed with me for at least 20 minutes but it was something more complicated than just the dead battery going on. Kenny stayed for quite a while trying to help me get it started. I appreciate the extra effort. read more

AAA called out Steve's towing when our son got our car stuck in a ditch. It was after dark and down a dirt road. The driver stopped down the road and notified us that he could not navigate the road in his tow truck and we would have to call back in the morning! I had just driven my Nissan Altima (it gets stuck on speed bumps) down the same road. Thank you Stevie's towing (don't forget the little heart over the I) for sending a driver, who had no male parts, to rescue us! read more

I got a flat tire on my way home from grocery shopping in Menifee. Called AAA and they dispatched Steve's Towing. Kenny from Steve's Towing showed up and was so incredibly polite and took care of changing the tire to my spare in no time. Kenny was very professional and so nice! He apologized for the time it took them to get there, but that is no fault of theirs - I was at the mercy of how busy AAA was that night. AAA and Steve's kept me updated via text message during my wait. I'd definitely use Steve's again with no hesitation. read more

The sheriff say he would try to pull some strings to get me out of there sooner so I told the dispatch to hold on. I called a few other companies and they all had 1+hour waits. Sheriff said he couldn't get anyone out there sooner than this company so I called him back and he said he would be able to get some one out to me in about 20 min. 25 min went by (rush hour kicked in plus 5 minutes isn't nothing when I would be waiting hours) and the driver Christian picked me up. He took me to my dealership to get my car checked and was super easy to chat with and was just an all around AWESOME guy. We were ok with the price quoted then offended to find out the price quoted was a three installment price making it 3X the original price we had seen. We started looking around and found Option Auto Glass. All contact was quick and his price was more than half the price quoted by the large advertiser. His price included home install at no additional cost and Francisco was very friendly and efficient. Another bonus was that I have a transponder for the 91 expressway and he replaced the Velcro strips and attached the transponder to the new windshield. I have had many windshields replaced over the years because I traveled a lot in my working days. This is the first time that someone was thoughtful enough to replace the Velcro strips. I can't say enough good things about this company. I waited to write my review until I had a chance to run the car through the car wash. The seal on the window is solid. Although , I don't really believe AAA is fully aware of their provider's alternative and sinister motive to gather cars from AAA for profit....Steve's towing is merely set up to get your car and take it to their salvage yard , Then auction vehicle or piece out each part of your vehicle!
