Called em up told em I got a steer tire goin bad but I can make it to em slowly. Guy on the phone sounded cool said bring it over it'll cost round 350 for patch or swap dependin on the damage. I asked him like 3 times to be clear he kept sayin yeah 350 max no surprises. So I limp the truck all the way to their lot took me like 40 mins slow drivin. When I pull up they come out all casual and get to work without sayin nothin. No papers no quote no confirm just jackin the truck up. After like 25 mins the guy say it's done and hands me a scrap paper sayin 780. I'm like hold up what. He says some nonsense bout tire bein worse than expected and addin labor fee and disposal fee and all kinda crap I never heard on the phone. I said nah bro that's not what we agreed but he just stands there like well it's done now. I was heated man. I freakin drove my truck to em didn't ask em to come to me and they still hit me with some next level scam. They KNOW you ain't gonna leave without payin. They got your truck up on jacks and you stuck unless you pay up. Straight trap. They don't explain nothin till it's time to pay. They talk all nice on the phone then flip the script when you there. Bunch of crooks hidin behind a truck repair sign. If you drivin semi and thinkin of usin these guys just don't.
