The mechanic told me that he only received cash for this reason he did not give me a receipt. 10 months later a part of the muffler broke. When I came back to request a repair, the mechanic suggested that I change the entire exhaust system again. I told him that they had repaired the muffler 10 months before but he did not want to admit that he had done that job. In conclusion, the work done was of poor quality and abuses the clients requesting cash to later evade their responsibility.

It use to be a great place 6-7 years ago when a older gentleman was in charge. Probably a family member to Alex and Kim. Since Kim and Alex have taken over there integrity is the worst. I only came to them as I recently bought a lesser price American car. I would not take any high end or European car to them. Here is what happened. My clutch was slipping as my car was sitting for 3-4 months in my driveway.  Took it to there shop and was told I have to replace clutch kit, release bearing, fly wheel, and slave cylinder.  They priced me $850 for labour $40 for transmission fluid, and $2000 for parts and said cash only. They also said I need a rear wheel bearing assembly (said $400) and all brake rotors (another $800) needed replacement. Since it was so much I said I will do the clutch work first and the rest later. For the clutch 4 parts they could not get the fly wheel and said they can possibly machine the one that's on there down.  And said it would be okay and just will make some noise.   Fast forward I did a bit of research and was able to order all 4 parts from the USA with shipping to canada for $725 cdn from Chrysler USA.  I informed them I would supply the parts.  Alex then said labour would be more if I supplied the parts. So from $850 plus the $40 for transmission fluid. The price went to $1100 plus $40.  Which I was okay with.  Alex said I can't leave the car there and would have to remove my car and bring back with part which to I agreed on. Alex also charged me $80 for holding my car for 3 days which I was okay with. So today I go to pick the car. I give the 80.  Now my car won't start or move at all.  And neither KIM or Alex were willing to help.  And said they are not responsible if I leave my car parked there.  So in the plaza there are several other mechanic so I went to HTS and explained my situation to haseeb and angel.  Angel walked with me to the other side of plaza to my car with some fluid. Poured the fluid in my engine and the car started and he moved it to his shop. At his shop he diagnosed my car and said it just out of fluid and the slave cylinder needs replacements will cost me $200 with parts to fix. Angel also told me Manual stick shift car don't use transmission fluid and use gear oil or brake fluid.  And both are poured from the brake fluid reservoir.  So here Alex lied again charging me $40 for $10 -$15 gear oil.  Also I believe Alex drained my oil so I would have issues moving my car.  My drive way at home had small oil stain on driveway at back of car. But at Angel shop all the oil leak was under the engine.  If that was the case I would have had my driveway at home soaked in oil.  Thus my conclusion on something Alex did to make the oil leak further. I know this is a long story, but hopefully you see where I a going.  I would not recommend taking your car to muffler guys as Alex and Kim are both crooks.  I spoke with a friend whose family member also did a muffler job with them and after 4 month went back to them and they said they did not do the job.  As they only take cash and don't provide a proper receipt it very hard to find a resolution or file a complaint. No communication or customer service skills…read more Had a problem where I couldn't drive the car for more than 30 minutes without the entire power steering reservoir emptying completely, indicating some kind of major problem with the system. I had already taken my car to Canadian Tire, and they told me I needed to have about $1000 of maintenance done so I decided to think on it. My car is an older Honda and I was skeptical of putting any money into it at this point. Take my car to Hill San on Thursday. They replace a single line on the power steering system and give it back to me on Friday, telling me it's "fixed". I drive it home and by the time I get there the power steering reservoir was empty. I.e. they had fixed none of the major problem and I still needed to pull over and top it up every 30 minutes of driving. Stupidly I take it back to them on Wednesday of the following week, the earliest I could spare to not have a car for my job, WHICH IS ENTIRELY DEPENDENT ON HAVING A VEHICLE. They finish on Wednesday afternoon and tell me it is " fixed" again, no charge for the service this time. Oh gee, how kind of them, comping $5 in parts for the hours of my time and gas they wasted driving back and forth to the garage. (I live in Toronto, only came here on recommendation from my parents). I had my father pick the car up the second time and test drive it for 5 minutes to see if it was still leaking because I didn't trust them. Lo and behold, after 5 minutes of driving it is evident just by looking under the hood that once again, the leaking still hasn't been fixed. Why hasn't they tested it themselves before giving it back to me......? So once again, they have my car. Thursday morning they tell me it'll be $1000 to replace the entire power steering system. Wow. So what the idiot at Canadian Tire figured out in 5 minutes it took you almost a week. At this point my entire work week has been delayed and I'm going to have to work the weekend, all because no car. I agree to do it because I have no other choice. They tell me it'll be done at noon on Friday. I call them at 11:30. They say they are "halfway done" and it'll be finished by 2:30. I get a ride to Newmarket from the city for 2:30. I call them at 2:30 and they tell me oh sorry, they sent us the wrong part, it may not even be done today. They also said they knew at 10:30am that they had received the wrong part. And they neglected to tell me this when I called at 11:30, before I'd come up! Now it's 5pm and my car won't be done until some time Monday. I now have to make expensive arrangements to get my work done this weekend without a car. And to get to work on Monday. I have never had such a terrible experience with an auto garage. I will never be taking my car here again, nor could I ever recommend their service to anyone else in good conscience. Did I mention in this review that they had never called me once throughout this entire ordeal to let me know about the status of the work? They have still never once picked up the phone and called me. Update: It's Monday, and somehow a story I thought couldn't get worse did. So 10am I get a text saying the car is done, power steering system is in. My father picks it up and takes it for a test drive. It is v*I*b*r*a*t*i*n*g worse than rumble strips. They had broken the motor mounts during the installation of the power steering and just decided not to say anything. There is absolutely no way they didn't notice. My father brings it back and asks them to fix it. This is now the fourth time we have returned the car because of their incompetence. They fix one mount out of four, making the problem ~10% better. Now I have to take the car elsewhere to spend another ~$100 to have them replaced. And they unplugged the battery at some point, resetting the radio and I cant find the code to reset it. :/

Anyway, my girlfriend's had some pretty bad experience car-wise over the years, often because she knows practically nothing about them--and people have taken advantage of that. So you could imagine her relief at finally lucking upon an honest group. She'd heard of Jason and Kerri-Lynn's son Nigel through a friend of a friend (both being from the New Tec area). When she first bought her old Nissan, he certified it, and when she experienced problems with it later, he even met her where she was to check it out and offer a recommendation. He told her that it could be one of two things, the first being fairly cheap, and the second potentially costing more than the worth of the car, and offered to take it in just to make sure (promising only to fix it if it was cheap and in her best interest). Since she absolutely needed a car, as she was then working two jobs to pay for school, he even lent her his own while hers was in getting fixed. He did the cam sensors, and tuned-up the brakes, updating her and getting the ok along the way. He even fixed a couple of blinkers for free. What I'm trying to say is from what she's told me, Hill-San went pretty above and beyond for her in terms of customer service. In an industry we're both generally pretty wary of to begin with, having not only someone you can trust, but with a personal touch, means we'll definitely be coming back.
