I found them via yelp and drove over. It was a bit confusing to find. It's a small garage with many other garages side by side. Oil change, cabin filter change - $90 While I waited on the side on random chairs, I met a couple who swore by this place. They had been coming for ten years and wouldn't go no place else. Waiting area was uncomfy and cold. Dress warm. He recommended I get winter tires and I thought maybe he's trying to sell me tires. But they didn't have tires. He was just being nice. Ps: they only take cash ...had to drive to a bank

just park in front of the garage door, leave 1 lane for traffic and walk in. for some reason the logo is literally shaped like an erection..

ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME was the thought that kept going through my head as I experienced 3 trips here on my first day. Trip 1, $30 cash for Standard Oil/filter Change (they offer $80 for Synthetic, last longer etc...i got old crappy 15 years old Toyota, no need) + Engine light came on need a look, I haven't had an oil change done since 6 months ago. I figured it could be that's what causing the engine light to go on. Turns out to be electrical, either change spark plugs or change spark plugs and ignition coil. Suggest that I have spark plugs changed first, see if engine light comes on again since ignition coil rarely if ever is faulty over vehicle lifetime. OK. Saves me some money. The kicker? The whole thing took only 12 minutes. Oil change plus diagnosis. ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME?!?!?! My GF who went to Agincourt Nissan for her oil changes average 2 hours wait per trip there. Trip 2, $30 cash for Standard Oil/filter Change for a year old Nissan after I told my GF and she did not want to take a whole day off work just to get an oil change done at Agincourt Nissan. The kicker? This oil change took 5 minutes. ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME?!?!?! That's faster than a haircut...brush your teeth and wash your face and filter/oil changed for your car. Trip 3, $140 cash for replacing all sparkplugs (mind this is a 15-year-old Toyota, so other models/years may be more expensive). Originally 2-3 people came after me as walk-ins to get an oil change and they said they are kind of busy...call Ivan to make an appointment. I did speak with Ivan during Trip 2, which he said no problem, just bring in the car they will try to get it all done I may just have to wait for a little. I didn't wait for more than a few minutes for them to finish with the guy's nice Honda before me. Everything was changed in less than 15 minutes. I asked about this loud noise that's started happening recently with the car, like metals banging together. Ivan said they will take a look. He and his mechanics raised the car afterward and showed me this giant piece of metal cover under the vehicle that's above the exhaust pipe that goes to the front of the car, and another piece connected to it. Both were rusted and lose. He offered 2 solutions, 1 is to get it replaced which may run at least $400, or 2, they help me just remove the metal plate. Not only did they cut and remove the dangling metal plating, but they also drilled at least 2 screws to tighten and stabilize the other lose one closer to the front of the vehicle that also was touching the exhaust pipeline and making noise when I drive. DID NOT charge me extra. Result? Car runs years younger. Feels amazing. Last time I went to a dealership with a bearing and transmission issue, i was out of $3,000, 2 weeks, 2 trips, and was lied to, got a Used transmission instead of New even when I was told I was going to get all New parts and New transmission because I refused the lower price for Used parts. Apparently, they couldn't find a New part and never bothered asking me if that's okay, and if they revert to the lower quote for the Used parts option. Here at this repair shop, you are given all the info you need, and freedom to make your choice and options. Their service is efficient and impeccable. You literally get to sit next to where your car gets worked on and see everything in person (see photos). I will recommend anyone I know to come to this place for easy drive by oil changes and make appointments for any car issues! Only down-side is they open only Mondays through Fridays during standard work hours. Generally, people work standard work hours. Hopefully, they would consider Wed-Sun schedule at some point.

Mechanics are properly licensed...as such they are dirt cheap, but less than dealers. It is not possible to have qualified staff and be cheap. One review commented on price of oil change is same as Mr. Lube- which really means it is cheap - Mr. Lube employs non mechanics and students. Mr Lube will pressure you to replace fluids that don't need replacing and air/cabin filters that are 60% more than other places. And if you say no every time, they get upset and won't do their 30 point check in the future - but they will check the box like they did do it. The coupon just gets you in to upsell you. A couple times they told me I needed to change fluids - took to Mkm Auto to verify - no fluids needed changing. My dad has gone here asking for a tune up, only to be told he just needed minor tweaking at a fraction of the cost. Mechanics don't make commission like dealers, so there is no incentive to make unnecessary recommendations. Several times Markham Honda said I needed new brakes. I took it to Mkm Auto for a 2nd opinion and they said nothing is wrong with them.

I wanted to drive a car as far as I can remember. My parents have a picture of me at the age of around 3 sitting on my father's lap grabbing the steering wheel of our Mustang and looking quite serious as if I was focusing on passing someone on the track and ready to give the finger. Instead of roller coasters as a kid, I loved the cars you could actually steer, albeit limited to a track at Centerville. I loved the bumper cars and later on go-karts. It was about freedom and control. It wasn't as much about the machine to me, as I wasn't a gear head. I didn't care as much about the performance of my car, or what the rims looked liked, or how I could lower my car. I will admit, I did have a short phase of that, and did have a sports car, but predominately it was the fact it expanded my world. Even at a young age, back when 12 year olds could run around the neighbourhood without having a tracking device on them, I would explore. I would wander the downtown core of Toronto until it got dark and had to go home for dinner. Because of my years of exploring, I know the downtown core like the back of my hand. There is no street I don't know east of Bathurst, west of Broadview from the waterfront to Bloor. I would walk and walk and walk. My world expanded when I finally bought my own bike. For the next several years, I'd hop on my bike and just ride. I went on every trail the city had to offer and my expeditions became greater. It would bring me to the eastern edges of Scarborough, the western front of Etobicoke and northern regions of Thornhill. When I got sick of those trails, I'd make even bigger treks, and a few times even multi-day trips out to St. Catherines and even Lake Simcoe. It wasn't about the cycling it self, but as a kid who was predominately confined to a 2 km square diameter of the downtown core. 50 km away might as well be Egypt. When I finally got sick of riding the TTC to York University from downtown, and figured that each school year, I would have spent 1 full week of my life riding the subway. I got a car. A crappy little tiny car from a buddy of mine in which my insurance cost more than the car itself. This gave me access to an even bigger world. I was finally able to make friends from Markham and Mississauga and Richmond Hill, and Woodbridge and Scarborough. I would drive and drive and drive. I drove to Montreal. I drove to Ottawa. I drove to Buffalo. I drove to Boston. I drove to Manhattan. And since then I've been looking for a reliable mechanic. Luckily for me I haven't had too many issues with my cars, but I'd go where ever I could find a deal. But after all these years I've never found someone I felt comfortable with. I want that same relationship with my mechanic like with my Doctor. I want someone I can trust. Someone I could respect. I've been reading about 360 auto and this guy named Chi for years now. He's essentially synonymous with a good honest mechanic and Honda vehicles if you just google "honda mechanic Toronto". I finally went in to see him and was extremely happy with the service. Turns out he and his crew all originate from the downtown core like me. He didn't seem to want to hustle like every other mechanic I've ever been to. The price was fantastic. I've needed a rear brake job, and got a quote of $600 from the dealership. Then got a quote of $350 from Master Mechanics whom I had previously been going to, however they're just not open on the weekends. And finally $250 from Chi. Provided everything holds up like it should, and every indicators from other web forums it should, they blow everyone else out of the water. Jacques Cousteau would be proud. Now I can go back to my explorations...

Trust me, Tactful Auto Service Centre is your place to get all of that, and more, taken care of! My family and I have been coming here to get our cars fixed, oil and filter changed, and winter tires switched for about a decade. The place is currently run by Jason Ng, who is an awesome auto technician. He is always extremely courteous, kind, and respective. Fluent in Cantonese and English, I love that he communicates to my parents in Cantonese and speaks English to me; this makes me feel comfortable for not having to stress with trying to convey myself in Cantonese. From all of our years coming here, me and my family experienced no issue. The COST to get our cars serviced is EXTREMELY reasonable, so if you are looking for a break from the crazy rates at your car dealership, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. PLUS, the waiting area is quite cozy, with comfortable seats, a tv screen, drinks, and... CUP NOODLES! That's right, they offer CUP NOODLES, the legit Chinese ones that actually tastes delicious! But if sitting around and waiting for your car to get fixed is not your thing. Markville Mall is literally a 5-minute walk away, so you could hang out there and get your shopping done. I actually live close enough that I just took a leisurely jog to get home. When your car is ready, they will call you to pick it up! I love that they accept e-transfer, but if that's not your preferred method of payment, they also take cash and debit. Tactful Auto Service Centre truly lives up to its name!
