Chi is my go to for any regular maintenance for my car. He's quick and will try to fit you in asap. He's also one of the more honest mechanics I've worked with. I'm not a car enthusiast, but I can't imagine living without my car. It is like an extension of me. It allows me to be Jacques Cousteau, on land. I wanted to drive a car as far as I can remember. My parents have a picture of me at the age of around 3 sitting on my father's lap grabbing the steering wheel of our Mustang and looking quite serious as if I was focusing on passing someone on the track and ready to give the finger. Instead of roller coasters as a kid, I loved the cars you could actually steer, albeit limited to a track at Centerville. I loved the bumper cars and later on go-karts. It was about freedom and control. It wasn't as much about the machine to me, as I wasn't a gear head. I didn't care as much about the performance of my car, or what the rims looked liked, or how I could lower my car. I will admit, I did have a short phase of that, and did have a sports car, but predominately it was the fact it expanded my world. Even at a young age, back when 12 year olds could run around the neighbourhood without having a tracking device on them, I would explore. I would wander the downtown core of Toronto until it got dark and had to go home for dinner. Because of my years of exploring, I know the downtown core like the back of my hand. There is no street I don't know east of Bathurst, west of Broadview from the waterfront to Bloor. I would walk and walk and walk. My world expanded when I finally bought my own bike. For the next several years, I'd hop on my bike and just ride. I went on every trail the city had to offer and my expeditions became greater. It would bring me to the eastern edges of Scarborough, the western front of Etobicoke and northern regions of Thornhill. When I got sick of those trails, I'd make even bigger treks, and a few times even multi-day trips out to St. Catherines and even Lake Simcoe. It wasn't about the cycling it self, but as a kid who was predominately confined to a 2 km square diameter of the downtown core. 50 km away might as well be Egypt. When I finally got sick of riding the TTC to York University from downtown, and figured that each school year, I would have spent 1 full week of my life riding the subway. I got a car. A crappy little tiny car from a buddy of mine in which my insurance cost more than the car itself. This gave me access to an even bigger world. I was finally able to make friends from Markham and Mississauga and Richmond Hill, and Woodbridge and Scarborough. I would drive and drive and drive. I drove to Montreal. I drove to Ottawa. I drove to Buffalo. I drove to Boston. I drove to Manhattan. And since then I've been looking for a reliable mechanic. Luckily for me I haven't had too many issues with my cars, but I'd go where ever I could find a deal. But after all these years I've never found someone I felt comfortable with. I want that same relationship with my mechanic like with my Doctor. I want someone I can trust. Someone I could respect. I've been reading about 360 auto and this guy named Chi for years now. He's essentially synonymous with a good honest mechanic and Honda vehicles if you just google "honda mechanic Toronto". I finally went in to see him and was extremely happy with the service. Turns out he and his crew all originate from the downtown core like me. He didn't seem to want to hustle like every other mechanic I've ever been to. The price was fantastic. I've needed a rear brake job, and got a quote of $600 from the dealership. Then got a quote of $350 from Master Mechanics whom I had previously been going to, however they're just not open on the weekends. And finally $250 from Chi. Provided everything holds up like it should, and every indicators from other web forums it should, they blow everyone else out of the water. Jacques Cousteau would be proud. Came here after being refused at another exhaust shop down the road. Kent and his boss, Chi, were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They installed my header and full exhaust system in about an hour, right before closing. They didn't have to take me but they did. Great customer service! Solid work as well. I will definitely be back here for more automotive work. Definitely worth checking out if you need some work done on your vehicle and live in or around Markham. They also did not over charge me at all. I was actually surprised at how well priced this place was for me being a first time customer walking in an hour before closing. Great great great experience. Excellent service and garage. Called Chi for an appointment Wednesday. He asked me to bring the car in next morning. When I arrived 10am I didn't have to wait and he took my car in right away. Immediately realized what the problem was as soon as I pulled in (my 08 Civic was making a loud sound). Said it's common occurrence in these older cars. Gave me quick quote to change out the muffler and gave me 2 options: $450 for OEM or $280 for aftermarket. These are all-in prices with parts and labour. Chi was upfront and explained that aftermarket will last 2-3 years vs OEM which will last much longer. I opted for aftermarket since I'll probably switch my car by then. Chi was nice enough to give me a ride to Markville Mall while he worked on the car. Told me my car should be ready by 3 or 4pm. He called me at 2pm saying it's ready. Love the quick service and getting my car back early. Before I left I just asked him for quick quotes for future reference. $35 for oil change $40 to swap tires out winter tires already on rims Overall this is a good auto shop. Chi is an honest and upfront mechanic. I would recommend this place. I typically go to Ivan at iGarage but since iGarage gets so packed, 360 Auto is equally just as good. read more

I've been going to Chi (360 Auto) since 2008 when I had my Acura TSX. I found him on a forum since he specialized in Honda Accords and have going to him since with my Acura RDX and Civic now. Chi has always been very honest and never over charges for any work. I've recommended all family and friends to him and none have ever had any complaints. Tip: If you can go on a weekday early, that is the best time. Weekends are obviously the busiest and the worst at any mechanic since most people work Monday-Friday 9-5. I go early on a weekday and I'm in and out within 30 minutes for an oil change. He's definitely gotten busier over the years so you will need to call for an appointment. read more

Chi provides amazing service at a very reasonable price. He actually seems to care about your car and often checks this out of courtesy as well! I used to shop multiple places before I commit to servicing my car. Nowadays, I just call Chi and take my car in and I don't bother shopping around too (we all know how painful that is!). He tries to save you money as well as he would recommend you multiple options for you to resolve your issue, rather than trying to sell you the highest profit choice. This shop was recommended to me on several forums. The first visit I came in for a simple transmission fluid change and Chi suggested I do the brake fluid at the same time. It was never changed so I went ahead with it. I left feeling satisfied. The next time I called, Chi answered in his usual hasty/rushed manner and I explained I had received a CEL and code for an evap sensor. I made an appointment to have this fixed on the weekend. I brought my own part and arrived on time for my appointment. Chi had no idea who I was, what my problem was, and I had to explain it again to him. He put my car up, started working, and then stopped as another customer had come in. He talked to this customer for another 15 minutes, worked on his car for a bit, then came back to mine. He continued to work for another 15 minutes then went to talk to someone else who had just been in a small accident. Next he proceeded to take off the guy's bumper...this continued for 20 minutes. Finally, he came back to my car and finished installing the part. Before he put my car down I saw a plastic hose clip on the ground and pointed this out to him. He hastily put it on and then lowered my car. He spent about 40 minutes on my car and I had been in the shop for close to an hour and a half by now. He charged me an hours worth of labour. Apology? Nope I would never return to this shop. Chi's rude and hasty tone on the phone should have been a warning sign. His lack of proper waiting area which was freezing with only a tiny space heater running was the second sign. The last was his work practices and the fact that he went and dealt with other customers instead of working on my car start to finish so I could leave. I suggest that he run his shop a bit more professionally. He can start with hiring more people and trying to be a bit less hasty on the phone. read more

I don't do a lot of reviews on Yelp, but every now and then you discover a gem that's too good not to share. It's not easy finding a good mechanic and after reading all the positive reviews on 360 I decided to take my car to Chi to have a couple things diagnosed and fixed. Not only are his prices very reasonable, but most importantly I found Chi to be extremely honest, very thorough and super customer service oriented. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I found about this place from internet. Many internet forums recommended this place. I went there twice for emergency repair. Car started making strange noise after second visit. I checked every part to thinking something is loose or about to break. Then i was changing winter tires and noticed that mud flap is out of place. i opened mud flap and found a piece of metal hidden behind it. Metal piece was vibrating and hitting car body when vahicle was in motion. I drive on highway every day. Eventually, that metal piece (screw driver) would have cut through plastic mud flap and could have killed me or someone else on highway. Perhaps mechanic thought i would go back to workshop about noise and he can milk more money. I am very angry with mechanics unethical deed and would never go back to this place. read more
