I honestly used to hate changing my car oil as it takes forever and the employees always "recommend" their products in the most douchebag way. Oil Changer was highly reviewed and since I worked in the area I decided to take a loooong lunch and do my oil as well. My loooong lunch was unnecessary. My car was given back to me within 8 minutes. 8 freaking minutes. 8 freaking mind blowing minutes. They topped up my engine fluid, my washer fluid, checked my filters, my radiator fluids, my exhaust system blah blah blah and they asked me if I wanted to change my wipers. My wipers are garbage and they needed to be replaced 3 years ago. They told me it would be cheaper at Costco if I didn't want to splurge too much. OmyfreakingGod. The team here is magnificent. Customer service is priority alongside the work they do. The girl in the front (sorry I don't know your name!!!) but she is so easy going and friendly that it makes you enjoy your 8 freaking minutes. When we took the car to another mechanic in the Fall to change back to the winter tires, we were made aware of the risk of hairline cracks on the rims that can result from this going forward. Without getting into detail that might have other people asking for the special treatment I got, they made sure I got home so that I could finish up my workday, and REALLY went out of their way to do so. Car stuff's always going to be expensive - I'm not sure I'd trust cut-rate brake service, anyway - but their pricing is always reasonable and well-explained, and I have never gone away feeling like they've done something I didn't need or that I'd paid for something silly. I dropped my car off for an oil change and it was ready only an hour later, despite the fact that this is a really small place and the bays were already full. They told me that I could pick it up after work, but I got the Hubster to get it. The damage, $40, which is great considering I've paid $60 to get an oil change on this car before (damn imports and their expensive oil filters!) We both found the service to be prompt, professional and friendly. As long as I live here, I'll be happy to bring my car in for oil changes, drive clean tests and other minor stuff.

Very frustrating experience…read more I brought my car in for a noise issue and was charged $1,400 to replace a wheel bearing. The noise was still there. I brought it back and was charged another $1,100, and again was told the issue was fixed. It wasn't. Two days later I took the car to Southside Auto and they diagnosed the real problem within 10 minutes -- the right-side wheel bearing. This also meant that parts were replaced at the first garage that did not need to be replaced to resolve the original noise issue. They also pointed out a dented rotor on the right side that was causing a loud noise when braking. When I tried to discuss this with Angelo and asked about a partial refund, my concerns were dismissed. After spending about $2,500, the original issue was never properly diagnosed here. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
