I understand that there's a conflict, but how can you be a total as*hole and refuse a 20yo girl with a fully flat tire, who was very nice and respectful simply because of the language she approached you? It was a pleasure dealing with Sean to make my appointment and to finalize the purchase of my tires after installation. While waiting for the new tires to be installed, the facility appeared clean and free coffee was available for customers. I did however experience the following service quality issues: (a) they did not remove the two-way tape that held the old wheel balancing weights when installing the new tires; I needed to spend half-hour using WD40 to remove the old two-way tape...this never happens when I buy tires at Simply Tire. (b) I noticed today that my new tires have the basic plastic valve stem caps...when I went in, I had metal/chrome valve stem caps. I will assume that this was simply an oversite and not petty theft. To be fair, the store did appear busy on the day that I attended; they may have unfortunately just rushed my installation service.

I was looking to buy new tires and I was shopping around for my size online from a variety of sites…read moreand I found the selection and prices I was looking for on Active Green + Ross' website. I was able to have a quote sent to the store of my choice but I didn't actually get a copy of the quote without having to go back in and print it myself. I did receive an email that a was sent to the store however. It was a Thursday and I had wanted to get the tires installed on Saturday so I had also made an appointment online for Saturday morning online as well. I had received confirmation that the request for appointment was sent and that I would be contacted to confirm the appointment. I did received a phone call from Jay about the appointment which would be ok provided he was able to get the tires over to his store before Saturday morning. After an hour or so Jay emailed me back saying he had the tires and that Saturday morning was a go. I arrived at 8am on Saturday morning and the spoke to the person at the front desk explaining that I had an appointment. Everything was all good, I handed over my keys and I was asked if I had everything else was ok with the car and the offer for an oil change was also offered. I was actually planning on getting my oil changed at my usual place afterwards but since I was there and they were looking after me right away I decided to get it done there as well. My last change was for 0W20 synthetic so that I know costs more than your conventional oil but I was offered a 10 dollar discount on it because they had a coupon. They quote that the store had was 30 dollars more than I had printed online because I didn't include their protection plan on the tires. Their protection plan PLUS for the price seems to be REALLY worth it. What it is = for 7.50 a tire (30 for a set of 4) they will repair any repairable puncture for the life of the tire. If the tire cannot be repaired (sidewall damage, etc) then they'll replace it based on the measure of wear so say it's 50% worn you'll pay 50% of the tire price plus install etc. That's a pretty good insurance to have and adds piece of mind. The repair can be done at any Active Green + Ross so say you're not close to yours, you can get the work done at another Active G + R. So to sum it up after searching several sources for competitively priced tires, Active had the best prices. Their protection plan PLUS is like a safety net for tire repair and for the price is quite nominal considering how much it costs to purchase new tires if one is damaged etc. They provide other services besides tires. I have never purchased tires before from Active and honestly I didn't know that. Having my oil changed while my car was already on a lift is rather convenient and saves me time. They do other mechanical work so that's good to know even if I just need something simple like a tire rotation or something like a wheel alignment. There's a coffee time across the street if you don't want to wait in their waiting area as well as there's a few things within a short walking distance. Really though for me I wasn't there that long, less than an hour and half for my tire change and oil change.

Why didn't he tell me it was being worked on when I requested the work order and said I would look it over and call him back?
