The result from my run in with the snow covered curb outside Shoppers was that I had a severely damaged rim and air slowly leaking from my tire. Considering we had a 500 mile drive home ahead of us it was the icing on the cake to a bad day. This is where Mike Fida steps in from this anointed Firestone (hereforth I will call him Brother Mike). Brother Mike was very busy and told me he couldn't get to my car for another 2-3 hours which was right when they closed. I told him of our long travels ahead of us and he got me in as soon as a spot opened up along with the secret password to complimentary wifi while we waited. Brother Mike's team used their wizardry to fix my rim and put some type of Christmas miracle in my tire to keep the seal. He had us on our way as quickly as we could have hoped for and he was extremely nice to us the whole time. Despite terrible weather, we made it back to our land with no additional problems. If I was king, I would knight my new found brother and give him 50 goats... but since I'm not, five stars will have to do. Trust this man with your chariot, and you will not regret it for a moment!

A week or so prior I called Sue to book an oil change and she confirmed a booking for May 22 at 09:00 "booking included a loaner vehicle". My wife and I woke up extra early to get her to work so I could return in time for my appointment at Sil's 09:00. When I arrived with the Jimmy at 08;50, I was informed by your new service advisor Will that they did not have a booking for me and did not have a loaner car either. I asked how long if I waited? His response was a blase "several hours" and the courtesy vehicle ride was not offered. Now, I have a cane (and sometimes a walker) and clearly disabled however I had the distinct impression that this new service advisor left me with only one option if I wanted an oil change and that was to walk home.
