They have a very friendly and helpful staff that went out of the way to make me feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands. After giving me their initial estimate for repairs, I left my car with them with the understanding that there might be some differences between the initial estimate and the final cost. Well after three weeks went by, I decided to call them the day before picking up my car to make sure the car was ready and to see what the final damage was. I was surprised to find that the total cost of the repairs was now over $1700 CAD over the initial estimate of ~$6400 CAD. After calling in and talking to Frank about the additional charges, he spent some time explaining to me the reason for the charges and was kind enough to help me out by bringing down the additional cost down to over $1500 CAD by reducing their service fee. At the end of the day, once I was able to process everything that Frank and I had discussed. I was fine with the additional cost because I probably would have requested the same repairs and parts to have been done but I was left feeling unsettled due to what seemed like a huge overnight increase in total cost. On the day of the pick up, the car was immaculate and they really did an amazing job fixing my car to a like new condition. The mechanics were checked out and the car was detailed and ready to go. Unfortunately, their amazing work was marred by the fact that they didn't contact me once throughout the repair process to give me an update on revisions to the initial estimate or additional charges throughout the process. Even though I was already prepared for a possible price increase of $500-$700, I definitely should have received notices or updates on some of the larger additional charges either via phone or email during the repair process. After voicing my concerns on the day of the pickup, I was told that someone definitely follow up and call me back to address my concerns. As of yet though, I haven't heard anything, which is really unfortunate considering the amazing work that they do.

My new tyres got all worn off because of it and i got it repaced by Mr Lube and they told me its the balancing that he did not do why one of my type was totally worn off. He almost killed me and my family had i not looked at my tyre. I never thought it was worn off as it was new winter tyres i bought last summer. It's a small team working here, Ly and Jon are the mechanics I've dealt with. They provide superior customer service and honest timeline and issues with car. Thy were able to pinpoint issues quickly and provide a quick service turnaround. Despite the shop being small, they manage and runs a clean shop. The cost of service is a lot cheaper than heading into a dealer. Bonus! I've come here several times for many maintenance and service due dates for my car and each experience has been great. My battery failed twice after my Acura dealer suggested I not use my radio and take my late model…read moreAcura RDX on the HWY for a good run to charge the battery. I wasn't taking chances so after talking to Sal at R&S Auto he indicated this was a sign the battery was not holding a charge and failing. To my surprise R&S was able to install a highly rated battery surpassing Acura and with a great warranty for much less cost. Well, I've had the radio on even with car off for a short time and my RDX still "turned over" with lots of cranking power. Sal was right! the battery was dying. Now that my RDX is just off warranty and considering the great customer service I received from Sal not to mention value for the dollar, I'm very pleased that R&S Auto will be taking over where Acura left off.
