I recently ran my car into a cement pillar. I took it to Seneca/Robert Fluney. Within 15 minutes without an appointment he gave me a quote and a courtesy car. Three days later he had not only fixed the damaged right front fender but straightened our my rear bumper and fixed three other scuff marks. The car looked brand new. His price was very reasonable and he did not charge me for the courtesy car. Robert is a very warm and friendly gentleman. It is a pleasure just to be with him. I have been a customer of Robert for nearly 15+ years. For small dents and minor scratches before. I have been always been happy with the way Robert had dealt with me. Unfortunately recently I was rear ended and I had no choice but to go through the insurance company. The company wanted to steer me to their own autobody shop. What do I say about this Auto Body Shop. They are just "Magicians!" . I am writing this review as in appreciation to each one of you who work so hard at Seneca Auto Body and mainly Robert Fluney who is the main person behind everything. Great autobody shop with excellent customer service and fair prices. I had some damage on the side of my car which needed to be repaired. I decided to find an auto body shop to fix it. I visited 4 different places in Mississauga. Place a: 1200+tax and rental. Lifetime guarantee. Estimate time: 4 days Place b: 1100 with tax included. Rental required. Wouldn't fix one area of my car to keep prices low. Estimated time:2.5 days Place c: 2800. Didn't bother to ask about rental or time. Seneca: 1200 tax included and a free loaner car. Life time guarantee. Estimated time: 3 days. I decided to go with Seneca because I found Robert's inspection to be the most thorough. I also really liked that a free rental car was included. It turns out the repair only took 2 days and my car looks good as new. They also cleaned my car for free and washed my car mats! After receiving the run around,and questionable quoted work. I [accidentally] found myself at Seneca.As I drove up,I wasn't sure they could do a good job by their cover. Frustrated with the time I spent trying to resolve damage done to my vehicle after a poor customizing attempt by a business.I park, enter Seneca,and I meet Robert, an assistant who is still left. I spoke with Robert before making the drive out to Seneca,and was relieved by his reassuring tone. He didn't get upset with me despite my obvious frustration during our conversation. Robert's commitment on the phone turned into reality as I dropped my late model vehicle off. The promised loaner is an early model vehicle that was interesting.However, I was trying to minimize the cost to the at fault party.So getting a courtesy car was a deal maker. As promised, Seneca kept their word,one day turn around. The vehicle paint matched the rest of the vehicle,and the required painted logos were done perfect. Lifetime warranty is honored for the original owner's work. I hope to not have anymore damage to any vehicle I own.However,I know if I take the issue to Seneca,or to just have customization done,it will be done well. For a fair price. Given the quotes, Seneca was easily $200 less than the highest who wasn't done with the pricing due to the customizing they were going to third party out. Also, the same shop needed to take an additional two days for the SAME job! Thanks to promises made,promises kept, my new vehicle is now finished being customized. Plus I have a bottle of touch up paint I hope to never need. Today, the vehicle market has drivers customizing their rides with ppf , vinyl , plasti dip. If the latter is what you want,I would consider getting it painted by Seneca. I first learned of painted logos when I saw them on a 1954 Dodge C-1-B6 being customized at the shop that does my ppf,and tint. Based on my experience, POOR WORKMANSHIP. My front bumper was painted by Seneca. They removed the bumper to paint it. After Seneca did the job, the paint finish on the bumper was riddled with specks of dust and dirt in the paint and in the clear coat. Dirt specks caused by Seneca's painting process. The dirt specks were quite visible to the eye and easily felt by hand. The bumper was also misaligned when it was put back on. So I complained. The owner said that his technician would fix the finish on the bumper by wet sanding the bumper and polishing it. Unfortunately, the paint tech further damaged the bumper by sanding too hard and removing some of the clear coat and paint, thereby exposing the white primer. He also scuffed other areas of the bumper. He tried to hide the damaged area by applying touch up paint - but the touch up paint came off the next day exposing the white primer. I complained once again and the owner said he would fix it. I asked the owner how he would fix it and he told me he did not know because he knows nothing about auto body repair and painting - he just owns and manages the shop. Based on the owner's admission, the poor quality paint job, and the unsuccessful repair attempt, I told him I would not be returning....could not take the risk of further damage. I would rather pay another shop to do a proper, professional job and fix the problem. Not the quality service and repair that I expected from an auto body shop who states on their website - High-quality Collision Repairs - Using the latest repair techniques and equipment for the auto body repair industry. The website also states - we will not let you down. But they certainly did with me. I am disappointed and disillusioned. They did not offer to repaint the bumper or return a portion of the payment. Interesting to note that the website states that Seneca offers a lifetime warranty on all collision repairs, but this was never put in writing on my invoice. Please learn by my experience. If you decide to use this service or any other body shop, I would recommend that you inspect the jobs that they have done on other cars prior to them working on yours, and get everything in writing. I honestly think 1 star is to many for this place. I recently had a fender bender on the QEW and the first tow truck on the scene was Seneca Towing. The driver was a nice enough guy and provided value to the unfortunate circumstance. Of course he gave me his sales pitch for their shop as any sales person would. My mistake was taking my car back to Seneca towing just for an estimate. Of course this is not how it works - they have to get someone from my insurance company out to quote the damage. Anyway from the moment I got to Seneca that whole place just rubbed me the wrong way and the owner - Robert was just a sleazy car salesman. In the end I had my car picked up from their lot and taken to a place I trusted and this upset Robert. He ended up charging my insurance company $450 for the 10 minute tow. Which is so crooked that they are talking about taking him to small claims court. This place is so shady. As if dealing with a damaged car isn't enough, I then had to deal with this jerks. worst repair experience I ever encountered, way over priced, very filthy and dirty operation, had several issues after a $5000.00 auto repair, seems the mechanics are poorly trained and out dated, no licensed mechanic certification to be seen anywhere. Their loaner cars are so poorly maintained (if you don't go through insurance), I've returned with the loaner cars because they are EXTREMELY unsafe to drive. I highly advise to not come here for body work. My car has been here not once, not twice, not three times, but six times. And still not fixed properly. A friend recommended this place to me, and what a mistake that was. I'm paying someone else to fix the problem. Not worth the headache even though they offer lifetime warranty. read more

This is the first review I've ever written online, but I felt the need to warn others about my experience with this shop. After a collision on the QEW, Seneca's tow truck arrived on the scene after spotting the accident from a nearby overpass. They urged me to have my car towed immediately, rather than calling CAA (which would have been free), assuring me that the entire cost of their services would be covered by insurance. After the tow to the opp station, less than 5 min away, the driver refused to take my car off the tow truck without going back to the shop. He said he had no bills on his person and would not unhook my car until he was paid. Not seeing another option I reluctantly agreed when he insisted the charge for the tow was a flat rate anyway and would not increase. I requested the car not be put in the lot, in order to avoid a storage fee. I had to walk to the bank as this business only accepts cash, and on my return found that my car had been parked in their lot despite our previous conversation. In the end I was given a bill for $460, for the original tow, the "re-tow", and the storage fee. The owner Robert stated he was "being a nice guy" by removing the 100$ re-towing fee after I argued with him for about 10 minutes.There was clearly a major miscommunication between him and his towing driver, because nothing I was originally told had been passed on to the owner. I ended up having to suck up the storage fee, even after requesting my car be left outside the lot. The $250 tow for 3km was unnecessary as the car was actually drivable. Had I needed a tow, CAA would have covered me, but Seneca's driver took advantage of my indecision during a stressful event. All in all a sleazy business that act like they're trying to look out for your best interest, then gouge you for any fee they can get away with. read more

Robert is a very VERY friendly and honest guy. He's really welcoming! And has great coffee! He tells you exactly what you need to repair! I had my 2018 Elantra repaired here (small dent and rust on door and quarter panel) with a reasonable price. He did the job very quickly and gave us a loaner vehicle free of charge. He also cleaned our mats, and gave us a free bottle of touch up paint which is worth noting. Upon pick up, I saw a thin line, where it was repaired. He said it's nothing to worry about and applied some stuff to make it look better but it's still visible and he couldn't fix it and it sort of bugs me every time I look at it since the car is almost brand new and I'm a sensitive person. Also for some reason, the texture and "feel" of the painted doors is rougher when compared to the rest of the car which has a smooth touch to it. Also, the inside of my door handle on the painted door was painted white although the rest 3 were black but he fixed that when I mentioned it to him. Now after a few weeks I realized that the paint on the painted door doesn't match the other parts and is a tad darker. read more

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Seneca on 4 separate occasions over the past 10 years, 2 accidents and 2 lease returns,. In all cases I have found the business and its owner to be honest and very helpful, especially in dealing with the challenges inevitably presented by insurance companies. In one case, a rather picky lease return inspector called out some nearly invisible imperfections; Seneca stood by their word to do everything necessary for a perfect return, fixing the problem at no additional cost. They have also assisted me with flexible financial arrangements and reducing my out of pocket costs. I would not hesitate to recommend Seneca to family and friends. read more

Funny reading the other review for it rings true for me too. They were on the accident scene within minutes and the tow truck driver was nice enough. They had authority to tow the car and await instructions from my insurance company.
