    Multipoint inspection from GMC a few days after purchase

    Terrible terrible terrible. The one word that comes to mind with regards to service and attitude. I bought a 2020 GMC truck from them, they said they had it inspected by their mechanic. The moment I drove off the lot, the check engine light came on, signal for brake pad change indicated that it needed service. Took it to a GMC dealership, multipoint inspection states that front brake pads are at 1mm and 2mm, rear ones are at 3mm each. This in my opinion is malpractice. Btw NY inspection says that the brakes must be 1/3 left and these guys put a sticker on with 1mm brake pads left. Judge for yourself what that constitutes On top of all this, if you deal with Bill the used car manager, God help you. One terrible individual. Incredibly rude and obnoxious.

    I've owned F150's as far back as I can remember. This 2021 Platinum Tremor was my first in this class . Glad I went to these guys as they were highly recommended. They made building/ordering it through this Covid crap as easy as it should be. The Owner Scott personally overlooked the process for an easy and smooth transaction. Much respect.

    Rotor that looks like it was submerged under water!!

    This was the most horrible auto buying experience I have ever had!! I have owned 5 Mustang GT's since 2007, and will never buy one again, simply because of my experience at Stevens112 Ford; I will never give my money to Ford again. I bought a used 2015 Mustang GT at Stevens112 Ford in March, 2022, and there were so many defects with it, most could not be seen by the naked eye. And the ones that could, they stated that they would not fix. First, I was told that I would have to bring the car back at a later date. Even when I did, they didn't fix many of them. I was told that I would get a 2nd key FOB, a donut, and several other missing things, and never got them. They then refused to remove the window tint that was on the car when I purchased it (which they said they would do). The only bright spot at this dealership was Keith, in the Service Department; he at least continued to speak with me, and, stayed on top of things. However, when I came back as requested, they never fixed the camera recall on the back of the car, never removed the tint, and, never gave me a 2nd key FOB. Chris in sales was the worst. First, when the paperwork for my car was supposed to go to the Service Department, he wound up keeping it on his desk, noting to the Service Department, "I thought it would be safer on my desk"; even I know that paperwork needs to go to a Service Department, so they can correct things!!. So when I asked why the Service Department didn't remove the tint, they said, "There was no tint on the side windows". If Chris simply gave it to them as he should have, they would have realized that the tint was on the front window!! Moving forward, only 2 months later, and only 1,600 miles later, the entire clutch system went, and, the brakes and rotors had to be replaced - this should not happen after just 1,600 miles!! My body shop (Firestone in North Bablyon) said that all of the above had to be replaced immediately, and that the rotors looked like they had been submerged under water, for months!! I have been dealing with Firestone for over 20 years, and deal with the owner directly - he even showed me the horribly defective parts, and, I kept them. So when Stevens112 Ford says they perform inspections on used vehicles, don't trust them!! They purchased a used vehicle from someone and simply slapped a much higher price tag on it, and said, here ya go; there is no way they inspected the brakes or clutch system, as well as the fact that the vehicle had no donut, a missing key FOB, and, a clip missing from the front side panel. I reached out to Chris in sales numerous times, as well as Bill from Service, and, event tried to reach the General Manager, Chris Benstock; no one returned my calls for weeks. So, in mid-June, 2022, I sent the GM of Stevens112 Ford (as well as the CEO of Ford) certified letters noting that if anyone didn't get back to me by July, I would file a small claims court lawsuit. On July 16, 2022 I filed and mailed the suit to Suffolk County Court. Of course this will take some time, but after spending over $3,500 on parts that I shouldn't have (not at least for several thousand miles), and Stevens112 Ford not caring about it (or responding to me), I am done!! I even have some of the defective parts so I can should the Judge that these things should not have failed, after just 1,600 miles of purchasing the vehicle. I have already convinced at least 2 potential buyers (friends of mine) of vehicles that were considering buying vehicles at Stevens112 Ford, not to do so, as the place is a deathtrap, has zero customer service skills, and, doesn't care about you once you buy a used vehicle from them. You should avoid Stevens112 Ford at all costs, in my opinion!!

This is an Exemplary Ford dealership in the heart of Patchogue that has an amazing line of Ford vehicles with expert,knowledgeable and friendly sales representatives to guide you during the whole buying process with no pressure whatsoever,Carl Demasi Jr stuck out to me because all those traits including his professionalism,The service department is impeccable here and I highly recommend this ford dealership As they exceed and all expectations above and beyond any other Ford dealership I have ever been to!

The whole experience from the paperwork not being done right , the car not being ready or cleaned when we came to pick up, they don't even put gas in the tank! We had issues with car after ( AC didn't work, roof leaked, had to replace brake pads after they claimed to have just done them... Never returned our phone calls of course. We ended up having another dealership work on the car and said they are known for being scumbags. They tried to go though the extended warranty we purchased through capital motors and it was very limited in what they covered. For example, they covered the new AC condenser ( but wouldn't cover the freon to refill it). They only reimburse up to $100 per hour for the technicians time so you have to pay the difference in what the dealership charges per hour. If something isn't covered in the warranty - they won't cover the technicians time for that portion of the repair. When you are at the dealer, you will see them begging people to leave good reviews. Go back a couple months, they had like a 2 star rating. All the sudden they have 4.7. We are in the process of reporting them to the better business bureau. Hope my review can save others from dealing with this place. Honestly - shit happens and we bought a used car but this place is awful. so many other things I haven't even mentioned occurred. I stated MULTIPLE times I had payments remaining in old lease and would ONLY be interested in doing a deal if I can pay zero down , old Lease was wiped and would pay just taxes dmv and dealer fees. I said multiple times I don't put money down on leases .I was assured this was the case. The next part is partially my fault for being tired and not questioning anything , but once you are in finance you don't see the actual deal sheet it's all on computer. Long story short part of taxes and fees ended up being 3k in cap reduction , ie I put down 3k on a lease. Hopefully they will make this right. I controlled the entire situation. They did get my business because I just didn't want to waste any more of my precious time and kind of got something I was looking for. I will not mention any names, but I did spend a certain amount of money and I didn't even get everything that the car came with I will be posting a photo of what they promised me and that was nothing. And through a coworkers recommendation of Marisa, a sales associate, we took a drive to Patchogue. There are 2 locations. One is for their used vehicles and the other for the new vehicles. This review is solely for the new vehicle lot. Marisa was a gem. She never rushed us or made us feel like she needed to hurry us along to get to the next sale. She sat with us for hours to decide exactly what we wanted and helped us go through every detail of ordering what we wanted that wasn't present on the lot. You always dread the finance guy. Going into an office to sit for hours and debate what's fair but Rich was amazing. He really cares about the people that be does business with. He's like that uncle that everyone flocks to at the family bbq's. They don't make em like him anymore and you'll never find that level of customer service in the city anymore so I highly recommend taking the drive to Brown's if you're looking to buy a new car.

They provided me with a Lfyt to go home. At 330pm, I called and car still wasnt looked at. At 430 I called again. Was told would need a new fob, and slow window caused by tints I've had on car for almost 3 years, which I dont believe. For one, I dont see how in less than 1 hour they couod have removed door panel, checked out motor, put it back, etc. I went back with Lfyt, was told they wouod need to order a new fob, and wouod call me for new appt. At first, advis9r told me would be 416$ plus tax. I told him I believe under warranty. Which he confirmed. The next day, recieved a call from a woman who scheduled me for today. Was told again. Wouod need to leave car for entire day. When I got there this morning, advisor told me this time fob would be 516$ plus tax, a 100 dollar increase. First I questioned why a 100$ more, then told him again ypu told me under warranty. He says oh yes, it is. I told him programming takes like an hour, so why do I need leave car all day? He says well, since I'm dropping it off it isnt a priority, smh. I asked to try to have it done by 1pm. I called at 130pm, says they about to look at it. Calls me back, and asks where did I leave new fob? I said what are you talking about? You said you would be ordering me one. Calls me back again, says was never ordered, would check with parts dept. Seems they had it in stock. Needless to say, very unhappy. And feel like advisor was trying to pocket money on me. Like, how does fob price increase by $100 in 1 week, and keep forgetting he told me covered under warranty??? And do bot believe their story about my window, nor do I think anyone actually ever tested it out.

This establishment is the epitome of the stereotypical crooked car salesmen. They passed the inspection immediately of the 2012 Volvo XC90 with a taillight out and 2 bald tires. I had to chase down initial work agreed upon in the sale. On my way to the dealership 10 days after purchase, an 02 sensor malfunctioned. 2 days after that, transmission problems. Although it is entirely covered under NYS Lemon Law, management at 112 Auto Plaza lied and attempted to avoid paying the transmission shop they outsourced the work to. Afterwards, they refused to take any calls from myself or the shop for days. Two months later, the car is still broken and they have forced me to take legal action. Between tows, rental cars fees and diagnostic fees, I am exhausted. I know this to be true, these people are corrupt and do not care for others. Please do not support their business. Buy a car anywhere else

Most of them were the usual: weak offers, pushy tactics, and the classic car salesman clichés. Then we decided to give Mazda 112 a shot, and right away, it felt completely different. No swarm of salespeople rushing us the second we walked in. Instead, we were greeted by Joe C who was down-to-earth, zero pressure. He just asked what we were looking for, showed us exactly what we wanted, and patiently answered every question without rushing us. My wife had her eye on a particular pre-owned Mazda CX-5 we'd seen at a dealership in Smithtown, but they were about $2,000 off where we needed to be. Joe not only gave us way more for our trade-in than Smithtown did, but he also offered a super fair price on the car, and they certified it at no extra cost to us. The overall deal was significantly better than other dealers and Everything after that went incredibly smooth. I kept waiting for the finance guy to hit us with surprise fees or try to upsell a bunch of stuff we didn't want want , but It never happened. We paid exactly what we'd agreed on, no games. The finance team was professional, straightforward, and just as non pushy as Joe. Bottom line: this was hands-down the best car-buying experience we've ever had. I'll 1000% be back to Mazda 112 for my next one, no question. If you're tired of the usual dealership nonsense, go see Joe C.

Check engine light remaind on when I picked it up and the next day after picking it up the brakes and transmission went out and I almost rear ended someone due to a failed brake sensor (which was not even an issue when I brought the car in). But I think Craig just does not know how to fix the car ...which is genuinely forgivable ....if only the lack of knowledge was communicated honestly, but no one knows how to have an decent conversation anymore. Mary and Ruby are extremely rude and unempathetic and left me feeling exploited financially for my lack of car knowledge. DO NOT BUY A MAZDA FROM HERE or use their service department, believe every negative review you read. I have reported this to JD Power, Mazda corporation, NYS DMV, and the State Consumer Protection Agency, who actually just emailed me stating they will assist me in obtaining a refund. At least the state will hold them accountable. Sad it had to come to this. It does not cost a DIME to be nice to people that are requesting help. I am a nurse and having a reliable and dependable car is not an option for me. good luck to anyone getting involved.

    Nick Sinacore, is best the Service Advisor on planet Earth! And Browns is a great dealership!…read more This is why: I bought a used 2013 Caravan from Brows in August 2019. It was in great shape with 47K miles on it. They gave me a very fair price and a great trade in simply because I was trading in a Dodge product. They gave me the hard sell on a private warranty, but I did not bite because, although it was through a reputable company, it was not a MOPAR warranty and as such not for me. In the next six (6) Months I used the Van as intended; for commute to work, as well road trips with my dog up and down the east coast. Up to Buffalo to see my son in collage, out to western Pennsylvania too see my brother, down to Florida to see my Dad. In the course of that time I put 20K miles on it. However, on the last trip to Florida the van developed a very rough idle. Initially I thought it was the deregulated ethanol in Florida. By the time I returned to New York, several fill-ups later, the Check Engine Light was lit (Cylinder #3 Misfire) I took it to my local mechanic that I had used issue free for years. He replaced the Coil-cap, Spark Plug and injector; did not fix the problem. The Local Guys diagnosis is that the Valve Seat in the Cylinder Head had deformed. His suggestion was replacing both heads with updated/better versions; a 4,500 repair. I was reluctant to call Browns because I figured that they would take advantage because I refused, the warranty. Nothing could be further from the truth. That's when I met Nick Sinacore, the Service Advisor. When I first called Brown's, they put me on with Nick. He was very attentive and patient to my questions and gave me great advice to research the issue. Over the next week I researched and would call him back to ask question. He would take time to explain or call me back expeditiously if he was busy at the time. I brought my Van in, Nick made sure I had a brand-new Jeep for a courtesy vehicle for no charge. Nick Performed the compression test, and made a diagnosis. It wound up being a much less involved and cheaper to fix issue. Nick explained exactly what would bee done, and assured me that he was confident that his diagnosis was correct. He called me twice a day with status updates and the repair only took two days to complete. ALL THIS DURING A PANDEMIC! I dropped the courtesy vehicle off; Nick gave me a box of the broken parts so I could see exactly what was replaced. Browns charged me a fair price despite it was without the warranty. I was on my way with a clean, repaired Van. Thank You Nick Sinacore and the Brown's team!!!!

($70 for labor and $80 for oil???) They actively targeted me because I am a woman and tried to rip me off expecting no repercussions. My brother recommended me this place but now nobody in my family will ever be doing business here again and we've been long time customers. They are completely and deeply untrustworthy scumbags that deserve for terrible things to happen to the women of their families DO NOT GO HERE
