In February, he contacted me to let me know he was now working for Honda City in Bethpage. After putting down $5,000 and winding up with a monthly payment increase of $90, Phil assured me that any excess mileage; wear n tear; disposition fee would be waived via the Loyalty Program Offer that I received. Since the 2020 Pilot was financed thru Fusion & not Honda I asked him if I should get my own inspection. He said it wasn't necessary. Well that was a huge mistake because after receiving a slew of bills, I ultimately owed Fusion $2100.00. This saga went on for three months. Phony Phil told me he was working with Fusion & adj's were being made (his most recent text was dated 5/31). I then visited him in person and expressed my frustration. He asked me to give him another day, he shook my hand, & gave me his word he was on it. I then contacted the Fusion rep who was handling the case. She said Fusion hadn't heard from Phil. Phil then left his employment with Honda City & ghosted me. I did however make it my business to visit him today at his "new gig" in Patchogue. As you can well imagine it didn't go well. Honest Abe was quite annoyed that I tracked him down. For all you readers, do yourself a favor and bring your business elsewhere!!!

This establishment is the epitome of the stereotypical crooked car salesmen. They passed the inspection immediately of the 2012 Volvo XC90 with a taillight out and 2 bald tires. I had to chase down initial work agreed upon in the sale. On my way to the dealership 10 days after purchase, an 02 sensor malfunctioned. 2 days after that, transmission problems. Although it is entirely covered under NYS Lemon Law, management at 112 Auto Plaza lied and attempted to avoid paying the transmission shop they outsourced the work to. Afterwards, they refused to take any calls from myself or the shop for days. Two months later, the car is still broken and they have forced me to take legal action. Between tows, rental cars fees and diagnostic fees, I am exhausted. I know this to be true, these people are corrupt and do not care for others. Please do not support their business. This has nothing to do with Rhode Island BUT the complete ineptitude of the BARON HONDA staff. This has cost us a ton of money in rental cars and immeasureable inconvenience. One department has no idea what the other department is doing. And despite the general manager Cirello, who appeared to try to make things "right", we still can not drive our car. I took the results to JayWare & the salesman agreed to do the brakes & a minor repair. My mechanic also checked out the car. I then left a $1k deposit w/my Amex card . I called to reconfirm that the car was ready for delivery, & I went & got cash for the sale. I went solo to test drive it, & the brakes were NEVER done! I went & got the salesman & had him go with me on a test drive. He had the audacity to say that's how Audi brakes are. I told him not only do I own an Audi TT, I currently drive another German car - a Benz! I left the car & told him if it's not fixed I won't buy it. He then wanted to take control of the situation & told me, he didn't need the problems & I might not be a good fit for the sale. I agreed & told him to send me my deposit. I gave him 2 weeks then called Amex. Within a week, I received a check. Whatta joke. Condescending & speaks to unsuspecting customers as if they've never driven a vehicle. That guy gives used salesmen the bad reputation they get.
