We purchased a complete assembled diesel engine at Steven's rte 112 Ford and approximately every 4 months since for 2 years the engine stops working and injectors etc... have to be replaced. It is obvious the engine manufacture is a lemon. Now that we want a new engine using their printed on invoices - ALL assembled engines warrantied 3 years - warranty, they will not honor their legal statement. After 3 months of correspondences with the main FORD company who can not get information from their own dealership, and no help from Steven's Ford management or owner Steven Gomes, it is off to filing with consumer protection agencies. Terrible terrible terrible. The one word that comes to mind with regards to service and attitude. I bought a 2020 GMC truck from them, they said they had it inspected by their mechanic. The moment I drove off the lot, the check engine light came on, signal for brake pad change indicated that it needed service. Took it to a GMC dealership, multipoint inspection states that front brake pads are at 1mm and 2mm, rear ones are at 3mm each. This in my opinion is malpractice. Btw NY inspection says that the brakes must be 1/3 left and these guys put a sticker on with 1mm brake pads left. I bought a Ford E transit cargo van , all electric, the van was a lemon, the sales person is Jessica, The next day the dashboard went out no lights whatsoever went back to the dealer. They said it's a normal thing and ford doesn't know what's going on yet with the dashboard. You have to wait until we let you know , I said do you want me to go with a dark dashboard after paying $66,000 for the van and they were saying it like it's normal and it's fine and there is no problem ? so that was a red flag That this van is garbage, I took it for service for the dashboard. It took them a week to fix it. They told me the van has a range of 150 miles on a full charge, but when charged the dashboard says 95 miles. You already loose 55 miles, when you drive it you get 75 miles., I tried to call Jessica about this problem, she wouldn't return my text or my calls even though before I bought it, she was texting me all day long, she never Missed a call or a text, anyway, went back to the dealer to speak to the general manager, He wouldn't even see me, That's the kind of customer service you get at Ford Stevens 112 in patchogue , I do appliance repair so I expected the van to get me through the day about 7 to 8 calls a day, , but that was not the case, after a run 3 calls I was left with the quarter of the charge so I have to take it home charge it , empty the van from my Parts, which I had about 5 % of it At the beginning, put them in my personal car and go finish the rest of try route , What kind of service van is that? I purchased a used 2018 ford explorer from this dealer last July and as soon as I purchased it, there was nothing but problem after problem. The very first day I drove it after I had gotten home the check engine light immediately came on and I brought it back and it was fixed, then the next day check engine light was on again and they claimed to fix it again, and then about a week after purchasing the car the turbo blows up, I tried reaching out to Cj my salesman, no answer of course, get it towed to them and just getting a loner car on a vehicle I just purchased was a nightmare. Took about a month and half to fix and Immediately after getting the car back after that the catalytic converters were shot as I scanned the vehicle immediately after getting it back, they claimed that the turbos had nothing to do with the cats, which 100% the turbos sprayed oil all over the exhaust system. They refused to honor my warranty for the cats so I had the shell out 3 grand on that. Then about another week later the engine blows up and again towing it there and having to fight for a loaner on a car I purchased within a 2 month time frame was a nightmare. They also didn't honor my warranty fully again and I had to pay 1500 for the engine because they wouldn't cover the whole repair, I had the car for less then one year and only got to drive it 5,000 miles because of the never ending repairs it needed. I would avoid this dealer like the plague especially if buying used as they obviously do not inspect vehicles before selling them. Brought car in for a recall 2018 ford Focus SE and asked them to check car as they were fixing RECALL and it was running bad. Only 47k on it and engine light on. I get a call next day car is fixed and I owe 480$????? What? It was in for the recall fix. They let me off convinced me they did me a huge favor. They told me it was a problem at Ford and that I should bring it in and they would fix it. I brought it to them twice. Neither time did they fix the problem. They then told me, since it's a problem with all the Broncos, I needed to bring it in again for them to start a stock number for the car in order for it to be fixed eventually. Doesn't matter if you're pre approved or have a loan in place from your own institution, they won't sell to you unless they can get their origination fee and kickback from whichever bank is giving them the most. Was then told I need to make another appointment to come back and diagnose the issue because they didn't have time. Not sure what my appointment was for today. They need to hold onto my car for up to two days to get this done. Then I need another appointment to go back and fix it. So three appointments for to fix one issue! We were charged $400 to diagnose issue and they weren't even able to figure our issue. So she told me they needed and extra 3 hours at $200 an hour. Although Ford Motor Company refused to assist due to the "age" of vehicle, the service manager Harold Brust bent over backwards to minimize the finial burden this bestowed on my parents. Additional he made sure they had a loner so they didn't have to worry about getting transportation to their doctors appointments. There are a handful of Ford dealerships within a 1/2 hour drive from my home, but I would not do business with Ford anywhere but Stevens 112! read more

This was the most horrible auto buying experience I have ever had!! I have owned 5 Mustang GT's since 2007, and will never buy one again, simply because of my experience at Stevens112 Ford; I will never give my money to Ford again. I bought a used 2015 Mustang GT at Stevens112 Ford in March, 2022, and there were so many defects with it, most could not be seen by the naked eye. And the ones that could, they stated that they would not fix. First, I was told that I would have to bring the car back at a later date. Even when I did, they didn't fix many of them. I was told that I would get a 2nd key FOB, a donut, and several other missing things, and never got them. They then refused to remove the window tint that was on the car when I purchased it (which they said they would do). The only bright spot at this dealership was Keith, in the Service Department; he at least continued to speak with me, and, stayed on top of things. However, when I came back as requested, they never fixed the camera recall on the back of the car, never removed the tint, and, never gave me a 2nd key FOB. Chris in sales was the worst. First, when the paperwork for my car was supposed to go to the Service Department, he wound up keeping it on his desk, noting to the Service Department, "I thought it would be safer on my desk"; even I know that paperwork needs to go to a Service Department, so they can correct things!!. So when I asked why the Service Department didn't remove the tint, they said, "There was no tint on the side windows". If Chris simply gave it to them as he should have, they would have realized that the tint was on the front window!! Moving forward, only 2 months later, and only 1,600 miles later, the entire clutch system went, and, the brakes and rotors had to be replaced - this should not happen after just 1,600 miles!! My body shop (Firestone in North Bablyon) said that all of the above had to be replaced immediately, and that the rotors looked like they had been submerged under water, for months!! I have been dealing with Firestone for over 20 years, and deal with the owner directly - he even showed me the horribly defective parts, and, I kept them. So when Stevens112 Ford says they perform inspections on used vehicles, don't trust them!! They purchased a used vehicle from someone and simply slapped a much higher price tag on it, and said, here ya go; there is no way they inspected the brakes or clutch system, as well as the fact that the vehicle had no donut, a missing key FOB, and, a clip missing from the front side panel. I reached out to Chris in sales numerous times, as well as Bill from Service, and, event tried to reach the General Manager, Chris Benstock; no one returned my calls for weeks. So, in mid-June, 2022, I sent the GM of Stevens112 Ford (as well as the CEO of Ford) certified letters noting that if anyone didn't get back to me by July, I would file a small claims court lawsuit. On July 16, 2022 I filed and mailed the suit to Suffolk County Court. Of course this will take some time, but after spending over $3,500 on parts that I shouldn't have (not at least for several thousand miles), and Stevens112 Ford not caring about it (or responding to me), I am done!! I even have some of the defective parts so I can should the Judge that these things should not have failed, after just 1,600 miles of purchasing the vehicle. I have already convinced at least 2 potential buyers (friends of mine) of vehicles that were considering buying vehicles at Stevens112 Ford, not to do so, as the place is a deathtrap, has zero customer service skills, and, doesn't care about you once you buy a used vehicle from them. So I had bought a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie from here. I drove it off the lot and literally 3 hours later the transmission blew. I called the used car manager Bill and he told me to bring the car back and they would fix it. They then had the car towed down the block to two brothers auto repair shop. Bill had told them to put a used transmission back into the vehicle. I got the car back thinking wow Stevens is awesome they put a new or rebuild transmission into it. Well they didn't. Now fast forward 2 weeks later and the used transmission they had 2 brothers put it also failed. They then order another used transmission from somewhere in the city. 7 more days I'm finally ready to drive my car. I then discovered other isssues with it. The most important was a safety issue of the side step bars. I called Bill and told him, he was very nasty and rude, said it wasn't his problem and told me to deal with it. I told him that I had twin 6 year olds that were getting into the vehicle daily and he hung up on me. Fast forward to 3 months later(today) and one side fell off as my kid stepped on it and he sprained his leg. This place is a joke, Bill has no customer service skills and can't handle putting fires out and making people happy and therefore I will do everything possible to hurt their business. I plan to take an article out in the local paper as well as report them to the BBB. If anyone else would like to jump in on a law suit and has a legal justifiable issue please contact me. I typically go to a different Ford dealership for my services, however, in this circumstance I needed somewhere closer to my job and soon because I was over on my oil change with a tight schedule. After reading the Yelp review I was skeptical because there were not many positive ones, but I felt like I had to go. I called and they were very friendly, offered me a time and booked me an appointment (Spoke with Mike, very friendly). I ended up showing up on the wrong day (one day earlier), they guys were SO nice. They reviewed what I needed and said no problem we will get it done. They were very professional, didn't make me feel back for coming the wrong day and the fact that they were able to get me in with already having appointments in place was so extremely kind. They handled their morning very well for having already a list of appointments, I watched as other customers came in for theirs because I felt bad, I didn't want to mess up someone else's morning. But all went smoothly! I almost didn't go due to these negative reviews, but either they changed their team or just made improvements - my experience was extremely positive and fast! Unbelievably bad experience. My husband went there and looked at a Ford raptor about 3 weeks ago. The price was higher than he felt it should be so he did not purchase it. Two weeks later he received a phone call from Bill saying he's going to give him a deal that he'll be delighted with. We went there today and ask for Bill. In the interim we looked up what the value of the truck was. We made an offer. Bill said that's too low and walked away. They diagnosed the issue while I was getting an oil change and scheduled my service for a later date. When I came in they had already set up a loaner car through Hertz and I was ready to go within 10 minutes. Bought an Expedition here today. I have to say that they were very nice and very professional. Bobby was our salesman and he did everything he said he would. Bill the Manager was exceptional. Really he also did what he said. I asked for new tires and a small discount off of the sales price and he did it for us. Saw the car on Saturday and picked it up today. I was at Steven 112 Ford back in October 2018 for a 3000 mile oil change was told the special for $129.00 was best. Okay I said do it how long about 30 minutes. March 2019 made an appointment for a simple oil change. They wanted to sell me the full service. It was not needed I requested only an oil change then was told it would take 90 minutes. Even with an appointment that is totally unacceptable seems to be I was punished for not spending more money. I had issues before with this service department but now I see it is a systemic problem. Last time for me at Stevens 112 Ford both for service and sales. Advice so many oil change and service on 112 just 20 minutes in and out. Courteous servicemen too. P.S. I am handicapped and there are NO handicapped parking there. Told the service personal and the manager said sorry we will have handicapped parking next time you come.
