This has not been a problem until this last visit. They refused to let him go with me and when I told them about my previous issues and anxiety, I was called rude and told to leave. Afterwards I tried to make another appointment at the other location but I was put on indefinite hold. No one would talk to me. Today I get a letter from them discharging me as a patient for my disruptiveness. I did nothing wrong. I have a right as a patient to have a witness to protect myself from overbearing and abusive staff.

After only one visit to Dr. Mercado, everthing dr. Rouse (louse) had maintained was completely discredited. I could go on and on about this jack ass, but so much of my time was wasted as a patient of this quack, I don't want to spend additional time talking about him. Even if you're the first person to arrive, they will make you wait over an hour past your appointment time. Also, be careful with all of the positive reviews. They look fake. Thank God he did bc we found a kidney stone that was too big to pass. He called me and set up surgery asap. The surgery was done in no time. I was worried about having a stent put in and Dr. Libby again listened and told me If he could blast up the stone enough he wouldn't have too. So when you found him everything went well until my last visit. My PCM sent a referral for my odd bloodwork to be looked at and it was not. I sat in a room for 35-45 minutes listening to a conversation between him and a employee. As I sat there, the room light went out on me several times so I had to move or move the do to get it back on. I left there, confused about my irregular bloodwork and why it was not addressed beings in did call to talk to staff prior. My doctor was trying to refer me elsewhere so I was trying to stay there and make sure they got the referral. It was just disappointing. I'm not use to having health issues myself, I take care of people so the last 18 months I have a great understanding why people do not like to go to the doctor. We look up to them to help us.

I attempted to raise concerns that the current prophylactic treatment was merely keeping the patient functioning but failing to treat the underlying infection. Verbal Aggression: Rather than reviewing the clinical data, Dr. Winkel became highly hostile. He repeatedly yelled directly into my face, shouting, "I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE!" Failure to Provide Safe Care: Dr. Winkel's outright refusal to look at objective laboratory evidence, combined with his volatile emotional outburst, created an unsafe environment and constitutes a severe breach of professional medical ethics and standard of patient care. His aggressive shouting left me feeling deeply threatened, and his refusal to address the multiplying bacteria puts the patient at immediate risk for severe medical complications, including kidney damage or sepsis.
