Couple front office staff are great, some are rude but the reason for this review is the sneakiness of charging for prior authorizations. They sneak that in the paperwork you sign on your first visit. Normally this is not allowed for in-network providers (Blue Cross) but if they make you sign for it on your initial visit, nothing BCBS can do. I have never been charged for prior authorization before and nothing like additional medical charges on top of the expensive insurance I pay and the ever increasing copays. this is about the billing and front desk stuff..dr is ok,,, but billing and claims are abs a mess ...several payments are missing from my dashboard yet i have proof i paid on my credit card, also i paid 159.61 on my card, was recorded by front desk as 15.91+0.69..this is UNACCEPTABLE ok..i just found out randomly after checking 4 bills of 1000 usd for UTI !!!!! thats insane to even send me bills like this..i wont pay thid fraud,..togetheer with insurance, it is claimed that providers thiuught i doint need tests in value of 65o for each 4 uti test... at 2700 f unnecessary tests.. thats insane,,why would u do iot if i dint need it ..this is not what io was told..its compeltely fraudeulent..i have opened dispute with my insurance and will post tomorrow letetr to their office..i will not paying anything anymore ..this is uncaeeptable..its a mess..who the hell pays 4000 foir 4 uti tests..its crazy and almost all my paynet on credit card are missing and some it was listed as 10 times les sthan i paid..its absolutely terrible read more

Dr Shirodkar is a great doctor, But to charge me 104$ for results to a test I paid 350$ for is why people avoid doctors. Never mind they canceled my appointment yesterday less than 5 hours from when it was scheduled. I understand emergency's happen, but if I had an emergency I'm sure I would of got hit with a cancellation fee. read more

I have been working and dealing with Dr. Shirodkar and staff for over a year now, (with sometimes having weekly visits, to every two week visits or once a month), staff has changed her and there but the great service that this office provides has not. Jaime, Samantha, Cassi, and Amanda does a great job of keeping Shirodkar's patients in order, and keeping his office running smoothly, they are very quick on making appointments, lab result, making sure insurance and payments are correct and making sure any scheduled services details are handled accordingly. Let's not forget Dr. Shirodkar is one of the best urologist, I have gained so much knowledge from this office, as I have watched and had to perform, straight Catheterization, Supra Pubic Catheterization which have all been included in the care for my client. Shirodkar provides great service in two locations, and is very timely on getting you in and out of your scheduled appointment. Great job everyone, from one of Charlie's angels! read more

Went to see Dr. Shirodkar about a urinary infection and he made me feel at ease in an uncomfortable situation. He was friendly, professional, and quick to diagnose the problem. I wouldn't send a decimated and dying dog to this place. While the Dr.s may be fine, their staff is rude, crude, inept, condescending and not just liars but GD liars. There was an insurance dispute which turned ugly fast, but to be lied upon and have a false police report made, which went nowhere, is pure evil. Then the staff forwarded false demented office notes to other surgeons in the area to restrict and blacklist me in the Houston area. It made me give it at least one star but if we're up to me I'd do zero stars. DO NOT consider this place for a vasectomy! They do it in the office it's not a steril environment at all. They have the female nurses in and out while it's being done and tape your penis up out of the way but don't offer any cover up like you should for a surgery to keep other areas covered and keep the area being worked on clean. Google pictures of what I'm talking about this office is dirty and discussing the nurses all flirt with the men coming in just completely discussing all the way around. And after it's done when you come in for a follow up they have you see the female nurse practitioner. yes by all means let's have another stranger look at your work to make sure it's healing up properly. No thanks stay away!!! Find a place that will do it in a sterile environment so you don't catch something. And loose all your dignity while having the procedure done having ppl in and out of the room and not having any sort of cover up. UnBelievable!!! read more
