Additional Update 4/17/26: I had an echocardiogram scheduled today and arrived 10 minutes early…read more Despite that, I waited an additional 20 minutes past my appointment time. I also asked multiple times about the cost of the visit, and no one was able to provide a clear answer. At that point, I decided to leave, I'm not going to wait close to an hour for a practice that doesn't prioritize patient care or communication. To make matters worse, I am still waiting on my lab results. They confirmed the results were received on the 8th, yet I have not received any follow-up or evaluation. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and I would recommend considering another provider. Previous Update: I previously left a review for New Wave Physicians Group and, unfortunately, I'm updating it again out of frustration. In my original review, I mentioned that my experiences with Dr. Carder and Dr. Troung were positive, they were both professional, attentive, and helpful during my visits. However, I also noted ongoing issues with the front office staff, and those problems have only gotten worse. It is extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. Calls often go unanswered, and when someone does pick up, it feels like a rare occurrence. I've had to call repeatedly at different times of the day just to speak with someone, and on multiple occasions I've been placed on hold and then disconnected. More concerning is what happened after my most recent appointment with Dr. Carder. I went in for serious symptoms, had an EKG performed, and completed lab work. I specifically asked how I would receive my results and what the next steps would be regarding treatment or medication. I was told I would receive a phone call, but that never happened. After calling over 50 times, I finally reached someone who informed me that my results had been available for quite some time but had not even been reviewed. I also followed up on a sleep study that was discussed during my visit, only to find out it had not been submitted. The medications I was told would be prescribed were never sent to the pharmacy either. On top of all of this, I still don't have access to the patient portal. Despite multiple attempts to get assistance from the office staff, no one has been able to help me get it set up. These issues have been ongoing and are now affecting my ability to receive timely care. At this point, I feel like I've given this office more than enough chances and will likely be looking for a new provider.

I was informed that a random doctor on call would delivery my baby, and I could not meet the physician prior. As I was searching for a decent physician I came across this office. When I called the woman at the desk was impatient. She informed me I would not be seen for at least two months, the doctor would need all my records, review the records, and decide if he would take me as a patient. I tried to expedite my records by seeing how I could assist. She informed me they would get my records from my previous office. Since it's been over two weeks and no one has contacted me about a records release. I assume I should just keep shopping or take whatever kind of care i can get and hope for the best. Greeting you with a smile and good service over all. Currently there seems to be a 2 month waiting list for new patients but if you can get on that list, they are well worth the wait especially in a time when most doctors have forgotten that practicing medicine is about each individual's needs not lumped together with a single solution for all.

We recently moved to Magnolia and needed to find a new PCP for my father. He was the FIRST doctor to actually spend time with my Dad, answer ANY and ALL questions we had, and made us really feel like he cared. He didn't push unnecessary medication or treatment and he gave us a realistic timeline so we were able to make what time was left truly count. We are so grateful for God bringing Dr. Dibble into our life and allowing us to experience what a true doctor/patient relationship should be. We really appreciate his after hours phone calls to check in and his condolences card that was signed by his entire staff. Unfortunately, our only regret is that we didn't find him sooner. Refusal of Medical Evidence: I attempted to show Dr. Winkel the latest urine culture results and…read moremicroscopic data. This data clearly demonstrated that the bacteria had multiplied significantly. I attempted to raise concerns that the current prophylactic treatment was merely keeping the patient functioning but failing to treat the underlying infection. Verbal Aggression: Rather than reviewing the clinical data, Dr. Winkel became highly hostile. He repeatedly yelled directly into my face, shouting, "I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE!" Failure to Provide Safe Care: Dr. Winkel's outright refusal to look at objective laboratory evidence, combined with his volatile emotional outburst, created an unsafe environment and constitutes a severe breach of professional medical ethics and standard of patient care. His aggressive shouting left me feeling deeply threatened, and his refusal to address the multiplying bacteria puts the patient at immediate risk for severe medical complications, including kidney damage or sepsis.
