I was so surprised there were few or no reviews on chemo treatment centers. I love my Yelp reviews for restaurants and services but this seemed so necessary as I was choosing my care. The infusion center is great. Super clean, new, and aesthetically beautiful. The free valet is a plus since so many centers are short on parking. One less thing to worry about. The location is great and offers a lot of things to do for any of those waiting for loved ones to get their treatments. The staff is INCREDIBLE. That is so important when you are going through this. Every single nurse, scheduler, admin and operator have been helpful, kind and compassionate. The unit is comfy. Great lounge chair that are new and not torn up or worn out! (As I have seen in others). It is a bit chilly, so bring a blanket. There are plugs at every chair for charging and plugging in my electric throw!! They have the Paxman scalp cooling system which was very important to this Yelper. For those that don't know, it is for hair retention during chemo. If you have to do this, this is a great environment with a wonderful vibe.

Today was the third time we have had a difficult time with his appointment being scheduled wrong so we will be looking for a more consistent location with better service and office management. Dr Hashmi recently performed an upper GI on my husband. He found a large malignant gastric tumor…read more He took biopsies and immediately sent him for a CT scan. To make a long story short, Dr Hashmi's incompetence caused a month long delay to receive treatment. We never received the pathology results from the biopsy that was supposed to take about 10 days. The office wouldn't send the initial results to MD Anderson. The CT scan was so poorly done it has to be repeated. The "oncologist" he sent us to was equally incompetent. I'd never suggest him to perform any procedure on my worst enemy. No one deserves to be delayed cancer treatment and I honestly think they did it on purpose when they learned he was seeking treatment at MD Anderson instead of his friend oncologist.

I have been to the Kingwood, Lake Houston, Spring, Woodland and Tomball locations. My experience…read morehave been unpleasant. Staffs are consistency terrible at their jobs. My most recent location regarding the Tomball and Kingwood location is what prompted me to finally put down a review. I went to my hematologist that the office for an appointment that they RESCHEDULED me from a month ago due to the doctor's availability. I drove an hour from Kingwood to Tomball because this was the doctor's first open appointment. My appointment was at 11:30a, I showed up at 11:15a. I was not seen until 12:40p, OVER AN HOUR LATER. The appointment was only to go over labs so it didn't take long. At 12:50p, the lady checked me out and told me that the lab was closed for lunch. I took time off work so I was not able to wait until after lunch. She scheduled me to lab next day at the Kingwood location. I received the text and email which I confirmed. I showed up at the Kingwood location the next day. They were not able to locate me in their system. I went to the link and it showed cancelled. They sent me away and asked me to try another location. When I got there, they were closed. I went back to the Kingwood front desk. They said that there is someone there that is able to draw but she does not take last min walk in. I showed them my text and email for my appointment was it was not acceptable. They said that the earliest they can schedule me for lab is 6/17, 5 days later for a time sensitive lab for my follow up appointment call on 6/15! I feel that I shouldn't be working this hard as a patient for lab when it should be the office's job to do the basic function to schedule and follow up. Also to note, not all providers at Genesis are available as drop down in the portal. For two of my providers, I have to text for lab results. The main schedule line is out sourced and they are not familiar with the type of appointments/and or office schedule.

What a way to end 2025! My wife had an annual checkup with her dermatologist, something we both do…read moreas we are older but have spent a lot of time in our lives out in the sun. The Dr. decided to do a biopsy on a mole that had changed. What a shock when the results came back as malignant melanoma. She referred us to Dr. Lee at Texas Oncology in The Woodlands. The person making the appointments was so understanding and as it was the week between Christmas and New Years it was just hard to see anyone. She got us in at the first week of January which was great. Dr. Lee came into the room, she still had on scrubs and the hair wrap they wear in surgery, she was so nice and reassuring. She talked to my wife and made her feel secure and that she would get the best treatment. She said my wife needs a PET scan, we can get that at our local hospital in Kingwood. She said after she sees the results she will know more and we will have a game plan for treatment. Can't say enough about her and the staff, they have all been wonderful.

She was punctual, she had compassion, I had a reaction to the infusion and all why I was losing it she did everything to keep me calm. She never left my side the entire staff was on point and on top of things and for that I made it back home to my kids. I always wondered how things ran in a smaller setting as far as emergencies and they gave me a sense of peace when it comes to that part.
