My wife found Cintas online and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and take a look. When Josh and his son, Jake came, we knew immediately it was the right choice. They're very friendly, funny, and most importantly, incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. They came for the first appointment this past week and our yard looks great already. They did a pretty comprehensive review of our sprinkler system and the different plants we have and made everything look clean and tidy, along with providing advice about how best to water our yard and what may look good in different open spots of our yard. We have a few bigger 'projects' planned for the future and I can't wait to see what comes from them. If you're looking for a good landscaper at a very fair price, stop looking. Cintas is the one.

So, I reached out to Cintas for a quote and although higher that I was paying, it seemed fair if what he offered met our needs. Well, it has been 2 weeks and he is definitely worth every cent we pay. First, he addressed things that needed to be done to improve the landscape. Second, we will take other jobs (not maintenance) on as we can get to them. I would definitely recommend Cintas (Josh and son) as your landscaping go-to guys.

I hired Alterra to conduct complete re-landscaping of my front, side, and back yards. The scope of…read morework involved large sections of concrete, pavers, and low water use hardscaping. The work took place during the hottest period of the summer at my east San Diego County home. My favorable experience with Alterra began from the moment I reached out and contacted Mark for a quote. He replied the same day and was the only one to do so. The numerous other landscape businesses I contacted for a quote either responded weeks later or not at all. Other positive traits I experienced with Alterra include: * Was always very receptive, answering my calls, texts, or emails within a few hours if not immediately. * Made excellent recommendations, not in attempt to upsell but to address important issues that I would have never thought of. His recommendations for drainage systems in my yard have proven to be spot on. * His quotes were very competitive, and in most cases ended up being the exact amount that I paid. * The sub-contractors he used did excellent work, especially the concrete sub-contractor. All of his regular crew did excellent work also. They worked every day M-F, starting early and working nonstop for complete days. On several of those days the outside temps exceeded 100 degrees, but that didn't slow them down in the slightest. * Used AI photo overlays to help us come to a decision on how we wanted our yard to look. One of the most difficult steps in landscaping our yard was deciding on landscape features that both my wife and I would like. I used my camera drone to take some overhead photos of my yard, sent those pics to Mark, and he used AI overlays superimposed on my pics to illustrate how the yard would look with different features. This was a huge help in determining the way forward in getting our yard exactly how we wanted it. * His vast level of experience was readily apparent. He was able to point out challenges and issues with our plan, along with potential solutions before they started work. For unforeseen challenges and issues that arose during the work, he advised me immediately, along with possible solutions, and did not proceed without first consulting with me. My overall experience with Alterra was totally positive. We are very happy with the way our yard landscape turned out and the cost was very reasonable. Mark and his crew have a vast level of experience and a solid work ethic. I recommend Alterra for landscaping needs. DK Santee, CA

I need to get my lawn maintained today because the weeds were overgrown and my grass in the front…read moreyard and back yard was very tall. I decided to search on Yelp.com for a Landscaping company that is (honest, dependable, offers affordable prices and will do quality work) in maintaining my front and back yard, doing weeds removal, and the edging. These things are all basic work that is required for my lawn. Yelp Projects for Landscaping Maintenance responded back very quickly yesterday. I was sent 5 different Landscaping Services that were from text messaging me on my Yelp personal account yesterday. Leo the owner from Edenview Gardening Services was the first business owner that sent me his text message last night. I responded back to his text messages to me last night at 6 p. m. There were also two other Landscaping Services that send me text messages on their grass cutting services afterwards that was last evening also. The reason my lawn was really tall and the weeds were not removed from my previous gardener his name is Pedro is because, I tried calling him and texting him at least three times. Pedro would not respond back to my text messages until one day later. Pedro keeps giving me his excuses he told me he is very busy with his other customers and it's okay with him for me to find someone else to cut my lawn. Pedro my previous gardener has been with me for 3.5 years. I believe that Pedro was very unprofessional in not respecting me as his loyal long term customer. I realized Pedro is not very smart in not appreciating my business with him. I made the decision today that Pedro has lost me as his permanent customer for life. It's unfortunate that Pedro acted this way to me because I even gave him FREE Garden Equipment that when he saw these things in my mom's garage and he asked me if he can have these items for Free. These used Garden Equipment cost my dad a lot of money. I didn't like Pedro asking me to have these items for Free like a working Gas Lawn Mower, an Electric Weed-eater, and a Insecticide Pump Sprayer. Pedro also asked me if he can have one FREE Shovel and one FREE Broom. I had to discuss with my mom if he can have these things for Free without being charged some money for our compensation. My mom is a very generous person and she told me yes but not to give Pedro anything else. Pedro finally did offer to pay me $40.00 for this one used Insecticide Pump Sprayer . It's a working item. Pedro also asked me if he can have my dad's expensive Metal Ladder from FREE. It was the last straw with me! I said No. I told Pedro he needs to buy his own garden equipment and not expect to get FREE Garden Equipment from me his customer. His greediness towards me isn't right. This is the 4th Gardener I have hired to maintain my moms yard. The reason is because these previous gardeners aren't dependable and after they work for me after one year they start to get lazy in arriving late and sitting in their truck like Pedro. This is my main reason that I have to find a New Landscaping Company to hire today on a regular basis. Leo the owner and Floyd his partner did a great job on removing these tall weeds in the front yard from the roots it was a labor intensive job. Also Leo and Floyd were cutting my front and back yard. Also using the edging equipment and the blower to clean up the sidewalk area. I highly recommend Leo's Edenview Gardening Services. I told Leo today he will have my business as his loyal customer due to Leo gave me an affordable price at $50.00, he was on time, my appointment with Leo was at 8 a.m. this morning and I received quality work. These 3 things are very important qualities I look for in me wanting to have a long term business relationship with any company. Especially Edenview Gardening Services I am so fortunate to have found this awesome landscaping company by using the Yelp Projects feature on the Yelp website. Leo and I were also able to get acquainted with each other in getting us getting to know each other with our new business relationship. Leo is a good person and I felt very comfortable speaking to him today because he is a very honest and trustworthy person.

The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.
